  1. With a title of "Is this current front office getting a pass?" I expected to see a reasonable assessment of both negative and positive aspects of the current FO. Instead I read a bunch of curmudgeonly ill considered views that doesn't propose a question at all and instead tries to make a statement. Next time you do a thread like this, please be honest about the title.....call it "This current front office is not getting a pass!".......so I can save myself the angst of clicking on it.
  2. The penalty flag on that return not being thrown hurt.
  3. I like Goodwin in his first game.
  4. Massive holding missed on 2nd down before
  5. Who would have thought 10 days ago that 2 of our better performers at half time would be Thad & Moorman??
  6. I agree We have only returned on average less than 1 per game this season.....a total of 4 kicks returned. The league average is only 1.9 per game. Pretty dull indeed.
  7. "Rudem" means "rude"........ "Rudis".....means "raw". Moron.
  8. Apparently everything that Buddy did was terrible. Acknowledging that Dareus has developed nicely into a stud DT goes against the theory.
  9. You could be right. I can see a 3 year deal with a smallish(4.5M?) signing bonus working. Not too exorbitant that we would be stung badly if he hits the wall and has to be cut....and high enough to show respect for his loyalty. I wasn't suggesting that we don't re-sign him......just that his age is obviously an issue that needs to be considered.
  10. At the ripe old age of 32 he is the oldest RB in the league. I'm not sure if an extension would be a wise course of action at this point.
  11. Clearly those people would be crazy. The Bills lose in that game! Seriously though, I think we have had some better Superbowl games since then, let alone playoff and regular season games.
  12. .....and in the theme of Chef Jim's post above..... I have always found that the best thing for a hangover is drinking a lot of alcohol the night before. <Boom-Tish>
  13. Yeah, but two of them were from the same SB loss to the Giants. How the hell did that game get TWO of the best NFL moments in it???
  14. This^ I tend to think that maybe because CJ came on so strong after Freddie's injury and particularly last season that people forget just how good he was before he got injured in 2011. Having the two of them is certainly are great position to be in.
  15. Lol....that conjures up a pretty entertaining picture.
  16. Correct, though a wanker is somebody who self stimulates said knob. In the context used, dick, prick, rooster, douchebag, wanker, knobend, peckerhead, tosser and dickhead would all appropriately fit. I think Nanker covered the definition fairly well....I've elaborated above. Lol....yeah, everybody in the commonwealth thinks the monarchy is great. None of us want our countries to become republics.
  17. Is this a PPP thing, an internet thing, or are you a knob in real life too?
  18. As a bit of a rubix cube aficionado myself i feel compelled to point out that simply rearranging all of the colours to be on their correct side faces is not necessarily indicative of solving the cube. Anybody can be shown the numerous "patterns of moves" needed to be able to "solve" it. It simply becomes a memory issue(and with practice a motor memory issue) on whether one can do it. Figuring out how to derive the patterns from scratch is truly solving the cube......and I think it would be humanly impossible to do in 90 seconds.
  19. I always thought that Mensa was just some strange latin influenced word meaning wanker.
  20. You could be right, I'll have to keep my ear open for it. Schedule is a legitimate pronunciation variant between UK and US. I have English parents and I pronounce it "shed-ule"......though either are common in Australia. There are many other words like "schedule" where there is a marked difference between the pronunciations. Mall: "M-all" and "Mal" Graham: "Grey-ham" and "Gram" Herb: "H-erb" and "Erb" I feel however with the progressive generational influences of US TV and Holywood, the British pronunciations are slowing changing. Isn't saying "shhweet!" more of a meme rather than a legitimate pronunciation flaw.....in that it is purposefully changed for effect rather than by natural speech patterns?
