  1. I've never understood how anyone could differentiate between B- & C+ or any of the +/- derivatives.
  2. Prove it. Compare Evans & Whitner using your definitions. Until you back up your.....what am I doing.....there is no possible way you can back up what your post said.....it's like asking a goldfish to "hold that thought".
  3. It's not a matter of going against the grain. Going against the grain is like arguing we are not deep at WR....most here disagree but the counter argument is quite legitimate. What you are doing here is just ridiculous(by definition....deserving of ridicule). You give a definition of 'talent' & then simply ignore your own definition. Lee Evans is an indisputable example. Run him through your definitions compared to Whitner & see what you get. Did you even have a Bills roster in front of you when you posted...let alone the other teams rosters? Did you do any research what so ever? Were you drunk, or in some other way under the influence? You obviously put no thought or effort into your argument & are now dogmatically sticking to what you wrote regardless of how foolish you look by doing it. Had you done a little research(or even had a roster with you) there is no way you would have posted what you did(unless you really are an idiot) I have an idea...next time you want to post something contentious & you do not want to go to any effort to back up what your view is....type it out first in Word......print it off on A4 paper......roll it into a tube......and shove it right up your clacker.
  4. Try getting up at 2:30am Monday mornings to listen to the game live. I said listen because the Bills are never friggen good enough to get a nationally televized game therefore are never shown on cable over here.
  5. Thanks for that ganesh.
  6. People seem to forget Ron Edwards. Was it game 3 he was lost for the season? From memory he was meant to be on the verge of taking the next step. Even this offseason after proving himself injury prone, he was rated as a solid starter by ESPNs Scouts Inc. Combined with a fat lazy Sam Adams, it's no wonder at all we could not stop the run.
  7. It sounds a little more entertaining than your standard R-P-S game. I guess playing it in a public place might be interesting.
  8. Nope. No bells ringing...not even a cowbell. What is it?
  9. AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!! I got sick of it really quick....closed the screen down...& it's still playing!!!! SOMEBODY SHUT IT UP!!!! MERCY PLEASE.
  10. I've always gotten the impression he wasn't a Bills fan.
  11. I don't care if we waste 1st round picks per say, but I'm right behind you in the concept of we cannot afford for JP to be a bust. If he's a bust, it will be at least 3 years after this one before we can realistically contend again....unless we get a vet...& I've never been fond of that route. GO JP!!!!!
  12. *BZZZZZT* Wrong. Try Again. I said "rated at the start of that season" For impartiality's sake I'll list PFWs annuals 'rated' players for the 2001 Patriots & the 2006 Bills. Not that I agree with the ratings but it is a decent unbiased comparison for you to see how biased perhaps you are. 3.0=solid starter 4.0=probowl level player Obviously rookies are not rated....note: punters are not rated. Patriots 2001 Woody 3.0 Bledsoe 3.0 McGinest 3.0 Law 3.0 Milloy 3.5 Bills 2006 McGahee 3.7++ Schobel 3.0 Fletcher 3.25- Spikes 3.95 McGee 2.9+ Clements 3.0 Gee, imagine what our players will rate like if win a few games.
  13. I'm sure you are in the right ball park on most of your rankings(though I haven't checked for myself) but.....what about Special Teams???? #1 for two years running & looking perhaps better this year. (A+) How does ST not be a factor in determining how good a team is? Also, for the hell of it, run through NYJ & GB.....we'd be close to StL, Ari, Min, Chi, Dal, KC, SD & even Mia as well.
  14. That is really very sad. Now I know why I found it hard on the other thread to pick a favourite player.
  15. That's exactly right. Just look at the 'talent' of the 2001 Patriots, rated at the start of that season. On paper, even our talentless team would have thrashed them. It's amazing how much talent is the result of being successful.
  16. JP will start. DJ said "No, it might just be seniority for this one… or reverse seniority." then smiled(as if he had said it wrong & then had to correct himself). Reverse seniority would be JP surely.
  17. You beat me to it.
  18. I really ,really don't want to rain on your parade...I think those that know my posts know I'm optimistic & would love the stats you show to be valid but..... According to that same site.... Gandy 7 sacks allowed as you said Bennie 6 sacks MW 5 sacks Peters 1.5 sacks TT 0.5 sacks CV 3 sacks Duke 2 sacks Jerman 2 sacks Total 27 sacks allowed. Not only are their stats 16 sacks short(43 sacks allowed in 2005) but it shows Gandy to be the biggest offender on the team. I am not saying he is no good.....just that I don't think those stats are reliable. Personally I'm optimistically listening to the majority of experts who are saying he is a solid LT.
  19. Thanks for that. Sounds very reasonable. Under that scenario...assuming we could get the trades, I think I would have preferred a safety over an ILB but either way, the lines were better addressed. It seems to me the main concept is to have taken Bunkley(or N'Gata) over McCargo(& therefore no Whitner). This frees up the #2 & #3 picks we used to get McCargo to get O-Line help in the second &/or 3rd rounds. I guess it probably gets back to how sure of a thing Whitner is & how much more of a sure thing Bunkley/N'Gata are compared to McCargo. Time will tell.
  20. And to quote Marv “Potential” is an imposter. Potential has gotten more coaches fired than injuries have. Potential has served to erode the credibility of many general managers. I guess we don't have any choice but to go with JP & see if his potential will bare fruit or if he will be a bust.
