You know, if it wasn't for your previous thread where you defined how you perceived talent, this post would probably be absolutely O.K. (apart from the prediction of 3 years....modern NFL changes quicker than that & we are closer than you think).....but....in regards to your views on talent, I wonder what in blazes you are saying.

Ummm, probably the 2006-2009 version of KW but.....if in the next pre season game he looks more like a 5th rounder & becomes an alright backup during the season....probably the expensive EM. I'm not saying he won't be a solid player, I just think it is premature to start talking about how good he is. He has played one pre season game. He has not proved himself to be the equal(let alone better) of an aged EMO.....yet.

I understand your frustration but if they did go for an O-Lineman, it would likely have been 1 player taken in the 2nd round (at best). This would not have solved the problem & you would be crying..."why did we not address the D-Line"(which we addressed in the 1st round). Perhaps the Bills do understand the importance of the OL problems but felt that the draft of 2006 did not have the right prospects in relation to our draft positioning & the overall talent available. When you look at the reports on the players we did draft.....& I know these are early days but....it looks like we might have snared at least 5 starters. If that becomes fact, it would support the idea that Marv & co. didn't ignore the OL.....just drafted guys they felt had a higher chance of becoming legitimate starters. Nobody wants 3 OL taken in the first day & have them all be busts.

Huge difference between 'at best 5' and '7-9'. You can see that can't you? '7-9' = 'at best 9' 'at best 5' = '1-5'

Absolutely. He was only in the starting lineup due to Ron Edward's injury. Hopefully he can be a functional backup for us.

Yes but all of Tipster19s points show possible improvement in the team.....i.e. at least 5 wins....not at most 5 wins. I cannot see how one can predict a worse record than last year. That Sal guy might be on the inside looking out but he does not seem to pay too much attention to what is happening on the inside. There is potential for improvement in every area of the team(including front office) with potential for regression in only a few. We will be better this season!......though we might not end up with many more wins.

Did they ever really have a usefulness? The only way I can see the U.N. working how most would like is for every nation to not only give them the monies they have promised(yes U.S. that means you) but manpower, resources & even more money. It shouldn't have to be the USAs job to police the world. (& cop all the flak for it) With proper resources(& a cleaning of corruption) the UN could become a legitimate world police rather than an expensive paper tiger.

In (most) regular season games, the one goal for playing is to WIN. In pre season, there are numerous reasons for playing the game, only one of them is to win. Going by the 'play to win' logic, we should play all of the starters throughout the entire match using our best strategies etc, etc, etc. Winning is quite a bit down the list during pre-season games.

Personally I have no idea since I live in a different country but..... Over here there is a 'tenants rights' booklet (& hotline). I'd be surprised if there is not one in the U.S. Just ask at a Estate Agent who deals in rentals. That's were the booklets are obtained over here....they are actually mandatory for every new renter but the Agents conveniently forget most of the time. I wish you luck.

I don't really want to jump to Roscoes defense but.....he does have a point. At this point it looks like KW will become a solid player(at least) but untill he is playing good football in regular games, it is just pre-season. When he proves himself, then I will more than agree with your point....for now, it looks like your point is looking solid but not yet proven. Go KW....prove the point!!!

I'm stretching my memory here but I recall that the top 4 average I.Q. by possition in the NFL were the 3 O-Line possitions & QB with center being #1. Who wants a smart center? When did brains ever hinder anyone....in anything? Surely this is only a good thing.

This is a really good thread. For those of us who could not see the game, this is a great way of finding out which players are looking the goods. Keep up the evaluations.

I suppose I was saying I assume he will lose us a couple this year due to his inexperience. As long as he wins a couple as well due to his future greatness I figure we will all be happy.
