  1. Who got the first sack?
  2. But Daunte was the Dolphins saviour....how can you say such a thing?
  3. Sorry, my bad....I thought Direct TV was over the net....I'm in Australia.
  4. I don't know how it works, but it's fine with me.....as long as there is one I don't care.
  5. Don't have the download limits yet...lock into old contract. Also....works out to be around $21AUS a game.....I'll probably pay it but.....family first etc.
  6. I doubt it.....I had to pay for Field Pass(NFL). NFL doesn't like to give anything away for nothing.....mind you, 3 years ago it was free.
  7. WOOOHOO!!! We have Bills Radio GO BILLS!!!
  8. I sent them off an email but.....not likely they read it & then fix things before gametime.
  9. I'm getting a ghosted Minnesota broadcast They had better get it right by gametime.
  10. Couldn't sleep....we'd better make it worth it. Bills 42 Fish 3
  11. That'd be right.
  12. I was onlygoing by the list in the link...no idea myself. I'm hoping we don't have a top 10 pick in which to get him. Still a cool name though.
  13. I'm hoping we don't have the #2 pick in order to get Moses. Moses...What a great name for a pass rushing DE. It conjures up all sorts of biblical imagery.
  14. There is no OGs on their top 32 list so (assuming status quo) I guess the point is moot.....for now
  15. A while back I posted this(took me ages to re-find)... That being (re)said, I have a feeling thing might be different looking at OTs. I will do the stats on it soon. The article you link shows OGs who have made superbowls for teams other than the ones that drafted them....I find doing that questionable when discussing the succuss of drafting tactics. Also, simply doing a 10 year span IMO is not a large enough sample.
  16. I know we are only 1 week into the season etc but ESPN have their top 32 college prospects up & I thought I'd share. LINK I personally don't believe we will be picking in the top 15 next draft but that shouldn't effect us taking an OT since there are 5 slated to get picked in the 1st round. They are ranked at... #3 Joe Thomas...Wisconsin #7 Levi Brown...Penn State #16 Justin Blaylock...Texas #24 Ryan Harris...Notre Dame #31 Doug Free...Northern Illinois If the status quo remains as is(which it won't), I figure we will get one of these guys in the first round. Again I'll say that I know this is too early but....just for fun.
  17. I agree, however I feel there is always(in all sports) the natural bias towards the superstar(player or team). It is a natural human reaction to let a BIG NAME get away with a small infringement rather than his no-name opponent. All those who think there is a huge conspiracy...i.e. the word from above orchestrating results is perhaps a bit simple. Until we are perceived to be a super team with superstars, we will naturally get the arse end of a few extra calls per game....esp. if we are playing a 'favourite' such as the Pats or the Phins.
  18. This is just absolutely terrible. What he did was a horrendous act & in no way should be excused or condoned. However, I think we can be certain that he did not wake up that day thinking "I think I'll kill my wife & myself today." If any good can come from this, it is perhaps a reminder to all that anger can be as insidious as addictive drugs. To all those who perhaps let anger get the better of them on occasion(myself included), just remember to walk away before it is all too late. If you can see that you have a problem....be a man....admit it & get some help. The potential consequences are just too great not to.
  19. Miami hands down. Coming from the other side of the world, my reasons for team hatred are based more upon the media rather than history or 1st hand experience. The Jets have always (from my perspective) been portrayed as the 'little brothers' to the Giants....underdogs if you will. I have always found it hard to despise a team that generally gets little kudos from around the league. Similar with the Pats. Up until 5 years ago, they were perennial doormats that had never really been worth hating. Obviously with their recent success & the trappings that follow(media darlings, getting star treatment by the refs etc) I am developing quite an antipathy for them. Miami however.....I HATE! Year after year of Buffalo outperforming them & they were the team expected to get to the superbowl....they were the team with all the talent....they were the team that the refs always seemed to favour. Even when they were obviously(to all but media analysts) shiit they were treated as contenders. They do it every year....Miami this, Dolphins that....Shula is great.....Johnson is great.....Wannstedt is great.....Saban is great...it drives me nuts!!! You'd think Chambers was a probowl WR from his rookie year the way the media go on about it. Culpepper!!! SHIIT!!! Yes, he might become awesome for them but for virtually every media outlet to automatically assume that he will be a probowler again.....IT DRIVES ME MENTAL!!!! In some ways I want us to win more to stick it up the media rather than to stick it up the Dolphins.....And those wooly woofter colours & helmets. "Oooh, I'm really scared....it's a dolphin." What moron chooses a dolphin as a logo?....and pastel colours? It brings the image of the whole game down. DIE MIAMI DIE!!!! GO BILLS!!!!
  20. But, but, but....*sign*......you are mistaken in your thoughts that we had a sub-standard KR outing against NE last week(even when taking out the 44 yard return). The point Lori & myself have been trying to get across is that ones average(in this case no lower than his career average & 5th in the league), is made up by all of the returns....the longest, & the shortest. Sometimes I believe there is a decent argument when 1 stat skews the results but (as I said earlier) his average over the first 3 runs was not 'bad'. Also, even if he averaged 12 yards per return over the first three....it was only 3 returns & no need for concern at this point. Simply put... You are asking people to analyse why he had a 'BAD' performance when in fact he had a 'GOOD' performance. ....the 3 lower returns were league average(22 yards per attempt).....the whole game he ended up as #5 in the league(27.5 yards per attempt).
  21. "Young free agents" Recent FAs. 4 year exp.(3) Fowler, Royal, Tripplett 6 years exp.(3) Reyes, K.Thomas, Bowen 7+ years exp.(1) Price TDs FAs 4 years exp.(4) Teague, Gandy, B.Anderson, Fletcher 5 years exp.(2) Posey, Spikes 7+ years exp.(3) Milloy, Villarrial, Vincent I think you are mistaken about how long re-building has been going on. Of the 14 incumbant starters(of 22), 10 have had 5 years or less exp. Fletcher & Spikes have 8....Shelton 9....& Villarrial 10. Also(relating to your draftee point), 9 of those 14 are draftees or UDFA(from the last 5 years obviously)
  22. I've started to notice a common theme to your posts of late JSP. It's concise, irrefutable & I find myself drawn to the essence of what you are implying. SQUISH THE FISH!!!
  23. Sorry, when you said it 'wasn't so hot' I assumed that was a complaint. As it happens, McGee averaged 27.5 yards per kickoff return(4-110) in that game & is 5th in the league. As you can see, he performed as well as last year. There is no reason for concern.
  24. No offence but.....what are you on about??? Without the 44 yarder we average 22 yards a return...which is roughly league average for last year. We had 1 out of 4 returns as a 40+ yarder. We are 5th in the league after 1 week. How many long returns do you expect out of 4 attempts? What do you expect us to be achieving in the KR game?
