Details of Suh contract/how to structure Clay offer?
Dibs replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
According to Spotrac, after the Suh deal they have only $2.64M in cap space left(rookies already figured....plus $7M alocated for Clay). They needed to make his year 1 hit so small just to fit him in the cap. There should be no problems stealing Clay away from them IMO......they can't spend their entire remainderon Clay. -
One year extension for Kyle -- Williams, that is...

I've thought for a while now that KW was very unlucky with the timing of his contract and was paid below his performance. Very happy for him and his extension! -
QB Sam Bradford traded for QB Nick Foles
Dibs replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As Bradford is on the last year of his contract, I don't see how he could be of much use in a trade up for a top QB prospect. Seems an awful lot to give up for a guy who will be a FA next year. Kelly the GM hasn't impressed me thus far with his personel moves. -
WR Percy Harvin's first visit is with Bills
Dibs replied to Punch's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For that sort of money I certainly wouldn't be unhappy if we signed him. -
No doubt.....particularly since 2017 sees a much smaller number of key FAs for us. K.Williams, Woods, McKelvin, Manuel I am hoping for two things in the next few years. That EJ miraculously improves.....and that we draft several top players to replace some of the older (and more expensive) upcoming FAs(offsetting EJs cap hit in the process).

Next year we have the following players hitting FA: Dareus, Glenn, Gilmore, Bradham, Cassel, Incognito......with the following RFAs: Hogan, Robey, Charles and a bunch of others.

Bills to trade Kiko Alonso for LeSean McCoy

Don't forget the $3.4M of dead cap hit the Eagles have due to the McCoy trade. -
Jerry Hughes signs 5-year deal with Bills
Dibs replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Depending on how it is structured, it could be a cap hit this year of only about $3.5M. -
According to Spotrac, our rollover from last season is $2.65M which is included in the $18.43M cap space we have(includes projected rookie caps). There was debate about whether rollover monies could re-rollover......but that has been firmly settled. Rollover monies can re-roll as often as a team wants.

Bills, McCoy agree on new 5-yr contract
Dibs replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think that many here are getting carried away with the McCoy contract in assuming that it is un-Bills like, contrary to a cash to cap philosophy, and the product of having Pegula being the new deep pocket owner. This contract is very much in line with any other big contract(of which there haven't been too many) that the Bills have doled out in the past bunch of years(Mario, SJ, Fitz, A.Williams etc). Though it is slightly higher in the signing bonus percentage than the previous ones(likely due to the need to fix the unfriendly cap numbers left by the Eagles contract), it runs very much the same as what we normally do. The main difference between what we have done with the McCoy contract and all of the other recent contracts is that this one is for a player that has been traded to the team......not one that is coming in via FA or being re-signed by the team. All of this is IMO the product of having Whaley for GM. To my mind the contract structuring is nothing new to the Bills' recent philosophies. What is new, is the concept that we actually went out and got the player worth paying big dollars to in the first place. -

SF FA guard Mike Iupati (update: going to Cardinals)
Dibs replied to CJPearl2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You forgot Wilson, Rivers and Tannehill. Might as well mention Fitz, Stanton, Shaub and Cousins while we are at it. Even Cassell will hit FA next year. Will be a huge year of re-signed QBs. L think those people are Ldiots. -
Perhaps the Eagles could give Cutler a try....they certainly have enough cap room now.

Strictly a rumor from the Eagles fans
Dibs replied to The Poojer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mike Evans is a somewhat proven player who was the #7 pick last season. Bucks give up the #1 overall and a proven #7.... .....for the #20, two firsts in later years, three 2nds, two thirds.....and a non franchise QB. What would Evans be worth as a solo trade in this situation? The #20, two 2nds, a 3rd and Foles? If that seems roughly correct then they will be trading the #1 for two future 1sts, a 2nd and a 3rd......which does not seem a good deal to me. -

Yep.....here we go again.

SF FA guard Mike Iupati (update: going to Cardinals)
Dibs replied to CJPearl2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We would incur a $1.4M dead hit if we cut him......making it a $2.35M saving. -
SF FA guard Mike Iupati (update: going to Cardinals)
Dibs replied to CJPearl2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There was a thread recently where somebody linked a site that projected some of the FA contracts......and Iupati strangely was predicted to be around $6.5M/year(from memory). Even if he costs around the $8M/year mark, I see no reason why we won't try to sign him if we actually want him. Last season we paid Pears $3.5M to play guard and C.Williams $2.4M.....that's around $6M for horrible OG production. Williams is due to cost $3.4M this season(will save $0.7M if we cut him). For a few million more than last season we could have a true multi-probowl level OG rather than worst in the league. That seems to be very good value to me. -
Hughes discusses future on Sirius/PFT Live interviews
Dibs replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We regularly see players move from teams where they are a good fit to teams where they struggle to produce, and don't end up seeing their full FA contract. I think that this is where the importance of having a good manager comes into play. It is their job to do what is best for their client(and make more money for themselves).....but it seems that far too often they try to squeeze out the maximum dollar without considering the long term implications. IMO Hughes' manager should be doing all he can to convince Hughes to take a little less money and stay in Buffalo where he will have the best chance to see the entirity of the concract monies. -
What are the consequences of choosing not to vaccinate ones children? As in what would the government do?

That's bollocks. If I chose to drive on the wrong side of the road I will be fined, and if I persist on excersising my rights to do so I will have my licence revoked and I will possibly be incarcerated.
