Seems tome that every time we get there somebody stuffs up. False starts Holding penalties Missed blocks. No push on short yardage Dropped balls QB mistakes It's not just Losman....sure he has cost some stalled drives in the redzone but most were after stupid penalties or similar. This entire offence needs to start anew. Fairchild has to be gone after this season & should probably be sent packing now.

Try zero confidence in the passing game.....not zero necessarily zero confidence in Losman. 1st drive he was 3 for 3 on passing....all were 3rd down completions....one was a 13 yarder needed(got 24). Next drive Pennington stuffed up & JP is sacked on 1st & 10. The passing game slowed down even more shortly after that.

I think zero confidence in the QB possition is different to zero confidence in the passing game....or O in general. If you look at todays game, it starts with.... 3rd & 5 completion...1st down 3rd & 4 completion...1st down 3rd & 13 completion...1st down Next drive.... After 3 straight runs.... 1st & 10 SACK(Penningtons fault) Next drive.... 2nd & 8 SACK(no time) Next drive.... 2nd & 11 incomplete 1st half over. I think if the OL held up for longer, JP would have had more passing opportunities.

Yes we need OL & I would have been very happy drafting for it last draft but....we had the 29th D last season with 2 aged safeties, a #1 CB on Franchise tag, 1 FA DT & no depth anywhere. D wins games. Just think how today would have gone with a mediocre OL. I do not begrudge the last draft being top heavy in D picks.....the next draft however is a different kettle of fish.

He does take too many sacks.....the argument comes from determining the cause of the sacks.

This part seems to be the real problem. Tripple Jps game & add a TD & you have Mannings.....Plus a gazillion sacks.
