  1. What he said.
  2. Now that's just a bit creepy IMO.
  3. A little premature to pronounce Steve Johnson as a talent isn't it?
  4. Maybe he has difficulty getting open.
  5. Personally I'd hate to see Roscoe sent packing. It makes me feel good having the best punt returner in NFL history(based upon 75 returns min, ave for career) playing for my Bills.
  6. I've noticed that the NFL stat site seems to ignore Roscoe. This isn't the first year where he was leading the league in punt return average & was not even on the list. Try this one.
  7. He didn't make a mistake as either can be used. The plural of Genie is(unless I'm mistaken)......either Genies, Jann or Genii(Pronounced differently to the plural of Genius. Genie pluralized sounding Gene-i. Genius pluralized sounding Gene-e-i) Interestingly the plural of the original Djinn(which Genie was derived from) is either Djinn or Djinns.
  8. Genii would also have done the job.
  9. Not that our thoughts/opinions can effect the team but..... You probably shouldn't let your emotions get in the way of what is actually good for the team. Peters was awful(for want of a better word) after his holdout. He has however improved.....and improved greatly since then. By years end there is no reason to think that he won't be at the same level(or better) than last season......where he was a top LT. Very good LTs are very hard to find.....and are also very sought after. Even though his holdout hurt the team, if we have a very good LT on the roster it would probably behoove us to re-sign him during the next off-season in order to lock up such an important position for the next 7 years.
  10. Hmmm.....deep2evans never said that Lynch "is a great runner". He started by defining him as "a solid, solid player."......and later contradicted your view that "he is not a very good runner".(This can be interpreted 2 ways. Could mean he's not any good.....or could mean that he is simply good but not 'very good'). Generally it's best not to put words into other peoples mouths. You obviously meant by your statement above that any RB who averages less than 4 YPC cannot be a great runner. This year we have Tomlinson averaging 3.8 Last year Portis averaged 3.9, James averaged 3.8 Year before James averaged 3.4, Alexander 3.6 These are great runners......yet they averaged under 4 YPC. How can that be? Gee you are quick with the personal insults aren't you?
  11. Thanks for the observations R.Rich. For those of us who don't get to see the entire game this sort of post is greatly appreciated.
  12. He's made a pro-bowl. This doesn't mean that he is all world.....or that he is one of the best......but it probably does mean that he is one of the better LTs in the league(certainly above an average LT). Why does everything have to be so polarised?
  13. You should really pull your head in. Bill may well be single minded in his view of the draft(I've had some good discarguments with him in the past on the subject).......but for somebody who has been around here for two weeks to label a 7 year vet who contributes greatly to this board a troll is ill-advised at best.
  14. I should have waited longer to join in this thread so I could insult somebody that matters.
  15. His point is that if TEs regression is in some way due to the concussion then this theoretically should show in practice. If however he is fine in practice.....this would imply that it is not physically related to the concussion but is instead a mental issue that he is dealing with at the moment.
  16. Never.....but neither has TE. FWIW Games seeing relevant action.... JP: 32 TE: 19 Turnovers caused.... JP: 43.....1.34/game TE: 22.....1.16/game Games with 3+ turnovers..... JP: 7.....22% TE: 3.....16% What's your point?
  17. I wouldn't care if it was inside a dome. To settle for a 47 yard field goal try is never preferable to one inside 40. 47 is no gimme under any conditions.
  18. I think that I have. QB play & injuries.
  19. Continually trying to suggest that the only way to build a team is to draft big guys is futile. Did you see how many OLmen the Titans have drafted inside the first 3 rounds over the last 9 drafts? ONE. Only one 2nd rounder. They have spent a huge amount of draft equity on DBs. I actually agree with you in that my person preferred method of draft strategy is to draft the big guys......but to imply that it is the only way to build a team.....or that the Bills are stupid for not following it when most NFL teams don't follow it is being rash.
  20. I guess it goes back to the reasons why we went 5-1......followed by 0-4. Injuries are a factor......but do you honestly believe that if TE plays similar to the first 6 games we will lose against KC? The team I saw this week had not regress(as a team). The QB was paralyzed and wouldn't throw the ball down field......and the coaches blew the chance to steel the victory at the end of the game. The overall play was good.
  21. Personally I think you are basing this on an injury effected last few games......I'd say..... QB- Edwards.....maybe will be underlined....maybe will need replacing if he stays how he is now. RB- Lynch, Jackson TE - maybe Fine.....who knows at this point? WR- Evans, Reed, who knows about Hardy & Johston at this point? OL- Peters, Walker, Dockery, Butler DL- Schoebel, Stroud, Williams, Johnson LB- Poz, Mitchell CB- Greer, McGhee, maybe McKelvin, maybe Youboty S- Whitner, maybe Simpson ST- Lindell, Moorman, Parrish A bunch of the young players could either develop into impact players or may be of that level now if all around them were healthy & played well. My list leaves us needing OC, DE, LB with maybe WR, TE, S Of course players that have shown ability prior may have lost it......but players who have shown potential may become impact players.
