I can't speak for everybody else but I am probably one of those people who you are referring to. I personally have not been screaming for him to be getting more touches....I have been screaming for him to be getting more carries. I doubt there is anybody who is thinking that things will magically be great.....but I'm sure there are dozens who are thinking that things will not only be better if CJ gets more carries, but will be a great deal more exciting to watch. As it happens.....in this particular game....when CJ was given the opportunity to run the ball, things did start looking a lot better. There were two other drives where CJ was given the opportunity to run which didn't go anywhere. His getting more carries won't be a magic bullet for the team.....but it is obvious that it will be better for it.

Actually.....I did that in post #2. His carries were what was asked for....of which he had 2. You had me wondering at your reasons for adding the information of the two passes thrown to him.....and the total yards of his being zero.

I really can't tell if you are being serious or not. His 2 carries came at the start of the 4th. In the same drive where he had a 41 yard run followed by a 6 yarder(3rd quarter & both from a run formation). That drive resulted in our only TD. His 2 receptions....after Fitz had thrown his INT....a horrible screen pass on 2nd & 4 from the shotgun....and then the typical "throw it to the RB on the move" on 3rd & 8(which the Colts were ready for). Are you really suggesting that Spiller is kept out of the game due to his inability to perform at crunch time?

He never is.

Because Chan doesn't like using his best player in the most important plays.....because he's really clever.

This point doesn't seem to get made much.....and to me seems patently obvious in most Bills games this season. It makes me wonder how productive this Offense would look with a QB who puts the ball in a place that allows the recievers to run after the catch.

I really think we would be. We'd be saying things like, "If we only had a good QB we might be SB contenders right now." etc.

Since we're speculating...... Good QB + Good RBs + Crap Defense = 5-4 Good QB + Good RBs + Average Defense = 7-2 Good QB + Good RBs + Good Defense = 9-0
