Having a quick look I'd guess that our poor run D contributed to his stats inflating. He was 3rd in tackles for all Safeties in 2012.

I'd take the rookie versions to maximize the selection.

How do you come away with the opinion that Marrone is too lazy? Has he perhaps exhibited lazy tendencies in the past? Maybe turned up late for a game or two....or let his coaching team handle things while he took a nap? Lazy?

Because everybody is running under the premise that Fitz will not be the starting QB next season. They are doing this due to Nix stating that finding a Franchise QB is the #1 priority.

An aggressive pessimistic approach seems to be very common here over the last 5 years or so.

I'm likely setting myself up for a fall with this comment/question but.... I am the simplest of talent annalists....and I wasn't specifically looking for this in the games this season.....but it seemed to me that McKelvin played a much more consistent game at CB when he got the opportunity this season. Am I way off base? ....and if not, might this mean that he could develop further into a legit cover CB?

You realize the discussion was about the comparison of talent(sans QB) between the Colts & the Bills yes? I agree. This would mean that the 21st ranked Colts pass D is made to look a bit better than it actually is due to their 29th ranked run D. Didn't realize about the 25 different players. Point taken.

He's too young....um....he's a Daddy's Boy coach....hmmm....he was a puppet to Rex? Seriously, the only think I can think of that is negative about this hire is that in 3 years we may lose him to an NFL HC job. Awesome news!!!

Apart from having the #1 pick in those special years where a Manning or Luck is available you are always selecting from flawed QB prospects.

I agree that talent is more important than experience but experience is an extremely important factor in developing raw talent into productive ability. A talented person will learn from their mistakes quickly, be able to understand the situation, and through experience be better at what they do.

I was very impressed with that. He sounds like a great teacher and motivator. I just hope his systems and adjustments are up to NFL standards. lol...doh
