  1. Who has said that they will be our 3 QBs for 2013?
  2. Like you, I don't find stories about meaningful, yet transient relationships in any way entertaining......but there is an audience for it.....and from all accounts "Lost in Translation" did a magnificent job of achieving it, as well as achieving an overall atmosphere of loneliness etc. It perhaps should be considered a very good movie that doesn't appeal to most people.
  3. You loved it......I hated it. "Lost in Translation" is a great example of a movie that does not deserve to be in a "worst film" list. Just because a movie is not to ones taste does not mean it is a bad movie.....it simply means that one did not like it. That being said, just because one likes a movie does not mean it should automatically not be in a "worst film" list. Personal taste really shouldn't factor into judging a movie's relative quality.
  4. :w00t: :w00t:
  5. Yeah....sorry about being blunt and rude. I typically am not, and you copped a rare serve from me. My apologies.
  6. Huh?.....What link in that page are you referring to?....did you link the wrong page? That is the site where I got the information I posted in this thread......even the links in that page refer to the horrible situation the Jets are in. The solution suggested in that link is exactly the same as what I listed above.....cut or renegotiate a lot of high priced players(they mention pay-cut option too).
  7. I really like that line.
  8. Interesting curio fact....thanks. Yes....Reed was our only other(?) productive 4th rounder in history.
  9. Nice article......but the headline seems antiquated.
  10. You are going to need to explain.....or provide a link......otherwise I'm calling BS on this statement. At this point the Jets cap number is $150+ Million. I listed above the players that they can simply cut to save some money....and there are not many. They are going to have to do some major restructuring of their star players which will move their 2014 cap into trouble.
  11. If I was your armchair I'd sack you. My GM would need to know who is on the roster and who isn't before making their strategies.
  12. From reading this thread I get the impression that a lot of people don't get to see that many movies.
  13. (I'll cut & paste my response from the other thread....) That's a very good question. On the surface both deals seem relatively equal in stupidity. Fitz was overpaid based upon a streaky run of good performances......having all cautious logic thrown to the wind. Sanchez was overpaid to a higher level based upon team achievement, pedigree & "potential"......having all cautious logic thrown to the wind. I would however say the worst one was Sachez.....as his deal seemed to totally ignore the salary cap hell that the team was heading into.

  15. That sounds divine.
  16. I had a look.....here are their players who will give them some needed cap room..... OT Jason Smith: 12M LB Calvin Pace: 8.56M LB Bart Scott: 7.15M DT Sione Pouha: 3.83M S Eric Smith: 3M No other player gives them anything more than 1.25M in cap relief if cut. I imagine they will try and spread the pain to future years by restructuring players like Ferguson, Holmes & Cromartie.
  17. Wow......that sounds like a dream. In my experience, when the chowder-heads are left debating a question they invariably come up with a shemozzle of an answer/solution.
  18. According to this trusted site.... http://nyjetscap.com/Bills/bills2013.php ....it's only 4.175mill.......still enough to easily justify cutting him IMO.
  19. He can't become one. If he's cut he counts an extra 0.5M against their cap. 13M if they keep him.....13.5M if they cut him. Their only chance is to try and trade him......but his salary is 11M anyway, so who would trade for him. LOL......the Jets have got themselves into a pickle. Sanchez is the same situation for them. They're stuffed!
  20. If Speedy Dude #1 was first in his progressions......and he was open all the time.....there would have been no need to go through any other progressions. Just saying...
  21. I'm thinking FA WR myself......but I agree with the guesswork on the rest.
  22. Just wait 2 years. http://swns.com/news...einstein-31492/ (picture here) BTW.....Einstein never took an IQ test. The reporter is certainly showing the difference between his IQ & the report subjects'.
