  1. Not to nitpick but wouldn't a 360° bring him right in versus leaving?
  2. Like the poster said above. Pay for the streaming option. Also like I mentioned earlier. If you know someone in college you can get it at a discount. We paid $99 last season. I'm sure it will be similar this year.
  3. Reports I have heard are that he looks good. Having said that they haven't put on pads yet. It's really hard to judge the big uglys (OL&DL) without pads on.
  4. Can we agree that we need to improve the passing game and the defense? Does it just have to be one or the other? If we hold steady in other areas and improve our defense as a whole and improve the passing game we have a good shot at the playoffs. That's why football is my favorite sport. It's the closest thing to fighting a war. There are so many areas that rely on each other to win. The General tries to improve all areas of weakness.
  5. Do you have a college student in your family or at least know one? If so drop Direct tv and pay $99 for the season. Stream it on one of your streaming devices like firestick, roku, Apple Tv or whatever else you have. I've done the kodi and streaming websites and they're ok but not 100 percent reliable.
  6. I admit I don't watch a ton of college football. I also can say I watched almost all of Sammy's college games. He would have a ton of success with bubble screens. I would also hit him with some quick slants. He was like a rb when he got the football in his hands. He can juke players or lower his shoulder and run then over. I really hope he stays healthy. He is the complete receiver. So far in his pro career they have mainly used him as a deep threat. He has so much more to offer. Also, giving him a few screens a game might cause the cb to play him a little tighter. This will open things up for him with his route running and deep balls. The old saying they use a lot for rbs that he can get open in a phone booth applies to him. If Dareus and Sammy can stay healthy and on the field good things can happen this year. Both of them are elite top 5 talents at their positions. Defensive coordinators worry about Sammy. Go check out the Ravens game last year where Sammy was mic'd. The defensive coordinator ran all the way across the field passing everyone to find Sammy. I don't remember the exact words but it was something like you are a special player and we were worried about you.
  7. He's the only one wearing jeans! Not a good sign.
  8. Old Buddy was no angel himself....punching coaches on the sidelines.
  9. If his job is to fill the seats then he may have the easiest job on the planet. The Bills sell tickets after a 17 year drought and that doesn't have anything to do with his brilliance. It's like selling Viagra to Hugh Hefner.
  10. Don't forget the 27th pick this year.
  11. Also, if you have a family member in college you can get Amazon Prime for $49 per year.
  12. I like that he can read the whole field and make quick decisions. While it would be great if he had all the physical tools if I had to take one I'd go with the ability to read defenses and anticipate wr's getting open.
  13. You can say that again. You can say that again.
  14. Two I can think of right off the top of my head would be Brett Farve and Steve Young.
  15. Or a QB coach to handle the receivers. Hahaha!
  16. The punting and kicking coaches along with their assistants failed us miserably!
  17. Seriously, Alphadog has owned you in this post and that's your response? I'm 45 years old and have traveled all over the world with the military. The amount of DB's (not defensive backs) I see on here flexing their Internet muscles on a daily basis out numbers the amount I've met in my 45 years.
  18. Oh...so if you're a minority it's fine to demean other races. It was more then not PC.
  19. Although Elway did own and operate a Arena League Team for several years before working for the Broncos.
  20. My bad! It was the first game in all my years of watching that I walked out of the house early with it being so close. I just gave up.
  21. ....and last defensive play was a 50+ yard run with 10 players on the field!
  22. Sorry if someone talked about this downstream in this thread. With the way the players were slipping in this game, especially in the first half I thought Gillislee should have been more of the featured back in the game. His running style of hitting the hole quickly and making just one cut would have been a better running style for this game. When Shady did hit the hole on one run with speed he had one of his better runs.
  23. I have no doubt that Meeks blew it. I also have no doubt that Gilmore turn and gave up on the play when he could have still tackled Hogan. I have always been a Gilmore supporter but his play has slipped this year tremendously. It could be him playing softer to avoid injury for his upcoming payday as some have mentioned or something else. All I know is his play is not worth top money. IMO
  24. I think he can come back before the Jacksonville game if we are playing an NFC team. I probably don't want him to come back for an NFC opponent because that gives us a better chance of winning. We all know beating NFC teams hurts our chances at making the playoffs.
  25. Nice work! Thanks for sharing.
