  1. Prayers on the way!
  2. He may have slowed down a little , but still setting speed records… https://www.si.com/nfl/bills/news/buffalo-bills-josh-allen-next-gen-stats-record-17-mph-blame
  3. I agree, it’s ok to take a TO to ice the kicker on a field goal attempt, but stop icing your own defense!
  4. Amen. Cook does not break tackles or fall forward. He does hit a hole fast but when we need to control the clock and run when the other team knows we’re running, you gotta feed Singletary.
  5. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Freddy gets cut. Rex will have the final say and he doesn't necessarily have the loyalty that Marrone and Nate did. This quote from Whaley at the Senior Bowl sounds like Marrone was the one loyal to Fred : Q: Why didn't Bryce Brown get on the field more? Whaley: They did a lot of switching in and out. It seemed like every time a guy would make a big run, they would substitute. I think it was just the rotation of it. Then with Fred being here the longest and knowing the offense the most, I think they felt, in certain situations, more comfortable having him out there. But we're excited this year coming in with the emphasis and commitment to the run game. There's going to be a rotation, but I don't think it's going to be as quick for guys. I think they'll be able to stay in and get a feel for what they're doing and get in a groove. "They" are gone. And Boobie will probably know this offense better
  6. For about three quarters our offense played very well IMO. My biggest criticism of the team today was play-calling in the 4th quarter. Why so many screen passes when Philly CLEARLY was aware and blowing them up? True that we were burning them with it early on, but they made the adjustment. We didn't. Second to that was the lack of any play-action whatsoever. I love that we were feeding Freddy, but in the 4th they were stacking the box against our bunched formation, leaving nowhere for Freddy to run. How about some play action passes to keep the safety's from cheating up? Our Defense clearly has some work to do. They repeatedly gave up the big play, especially on 3rd down. You got to love all the turnovers, but how about forcing a punt once in a while? I'm not sure if it's scheme or (lack of) talent, but I'm thinking it's more scheme. It seemed that we often were in poor position to stop their big plays. If this was the first week we allowed 450+ yards, I would say today was ALL Vick, but 4 out of 5 is a big concern. Finally, you have to credit Vick...the guy was a big play machine today. Although he threw 4 picks, 2 of them were just bad bounces for them. Other than that, he was the reason they were still in the game to the end.
  7. I think you mean Mrs. Jackson-Bledsoe
  8. I gotta admit... when it happened, I wondered why Stevie didn't go for the Pancake, instead of the knees. It seemed to me that Stevie was in position to hit him high, with leverage.
  9. Anyone ever have BBQ at Flints on Shattuck, right on the border of Oakland/Berkely? Incredible! Then over to the Triple Rock Brewery...
  10. Nice post, I agree. After watching the highlights, it reminded me of that nice stiff-arm Freddy laid on the chiefs last weekend when he was running left (can't remember which quarter it was in) but it was right on time and made the chiefs db look foolish. The main comparison that I see between Fred and Thurman was, as another poster said, both have(had) great patience and vision to find the crease. TD is in a different class to me because of his speed. He was a great back though and likely would've put up crazy numbers if he didn't have the knee and migraine issues.
  11. Good point, I did pre-1994
  12. I live in the same town as Drew, in Bend, OR and have seen him around several times. The first time was at the Whole Foods Market where I had a chance to introduce myself as a Bills fan and Drew was super kind to me. The thing I liked was he asked more questions about me than I asked about him. He seemed genuine and was interested in what part of BUF I was from, how long I've been out here, when was the last time I was at the Ralph, we talked skiing at Mt Bachelor and about what a great bunch of golf courses are around Bend. I asked him if he was bitter at all about being shipped out of BUF and he said "absolutely not, I loved my time in Buffalo and it's part of the business". Then several months later, I saw him at Mt Bachelor on a sick powder day. He came into the bar with a group of guys and I was by myself and holding down a table in the small, packed bar. I offered to let them have my table and I reminded Drew that I chatted with him at Whole Foods and he said "That's why I love Bills Fans". He IS a classy dude and after listening to that interview, my opinion hasn't changed at all.

  14. +1 BIG TIME. 7 turnovers is > than Lee stretching the field and getting 0 production IMHO. How many times have teams with 7 turnovers gone on to win? I haven't looked it up, but I'd be shocked if many have done it
