  1. JP doesn't get a free pass because of a couple of missed plays by others. Don't you get sick of watching him stare down his #1 WR until he gets sacked, fumbles, or rolls out and throws it away? I was screaming at the TV for him to check down, he doesn't seem to understand the concept and it frustrates the hell out of me.
  2. Part of it falls on the coaches. We have WM running for 150 yards and I don't recall him being used in playaction ONCE. There's no point sending him out on pass patterns because JP doesn't know how to check down. IMHO that slows down a pass rush a lot more than having 1 extra RB in the backfield trying to pick up blitzers.
  3. I didn't see anyone praising mcgahee after he saved losman's ass by blocking TWO blitzers at once last week.
  4. HIs passing yards are decieving. They've mostly come from yards after catch.
  5. Willis was at fault, but so was JP for continuing to have blinders on.
  6. I've actually thought our O-line has done a good job today, and it hasn't made much of a difference with JP.
  7. Because he was late getting rid of the ball, and still tried to throw in to double coverage. He's shown terrible pocket awareness all game, most of his passing yards have been on YAC anyway.
  8. He used to lift weights and felt (and looked) slow, he works on speed/quickness now and you can see the results.
  9. JP is proving he's still not a NFL ready QB. I hate watching the rest of this team get thrown under the bus while we sit around waiting for this kid to 'develop' a brain. 2 unnecessary fumbles and a duck in to the wind in to double coverage...seriously get this kid off the !@#$ing field. McGahee runs for 140 and you still can't throw, the excuses are gone.
  10. Thomas looked awful on that one pass to Ronnie Brown, he got juked out of his jockey shorts and Brown picked up a first he had no business getting.
  11. Get real, if WM ran for those numbers vs ANY defense, you'd be all over him.
  12. Hey Joe, why are you ignoring your boy Ronnie Brown's magnificent statline?
  13. Ronnie Brown had 15 carries for 30 yards this week, for your information. So compared to 20 for 70, yes, it's no contest.
  14. It's a guy with a powerful frame that can fight for the ball vs a defensive back, and take the physical pounding it requires to be an underneath, over the middle sort of WR. Our wrs are all speed guys that are better suited to playing outside the hashes.
  15. I guarantee you the players at the U train harder than the players in Buffalo. That's the reason they all go back.
  16. We have enough deep threat type WRs. We could use a strong posession guy. Like Moulds, except not one that hates JP Losman.
  17. Whitner was actually keyed on the WR on that play, the assignment on Watson was the LB. So while he could have maybe made the read earlier and broke off his assignment to make a play, he wasn't at fault directly for the touchdown. I thought his run support actually impressed me more than his INT. The first play he was in I heard the huge SMACK on the RB, and that's when I realized he was in over Wire. I was like "man, I haven't ever heard Wire hit like that" - and then I noticed the 20 on the jersey. The Pats running game slowed a fair bit after Whitner/Simpson replaced Vincent/Wire, though it was still too strong.
  18. How quickly people forget he turned a blown up screen pass from a 5 yard loss in to a 20+ yard gain by shaking free from the entire pats front 7. A-Train doesn't give you that. I'm constantly shocked at the fans here. I would have expected more from a blue collar town. You act like white collar powder puff girls when something bad happens.
  19. Demand the best all you want, but do it with some semblance of understanding what creates a better than mediocre team, and running game.
  20. Edgerrin James 26-73 Fred Taylor 21-74 LArry Johnson 17-68 Thomas Jones 21-63 Shaun Alexander 19-51 Deshaun Foster 15-54 Kevan Barlow 11-35 Travis Henry 9-22 A lot of good running backs produced the same or worse than McGahee today, mostly against defenses that aren't as stacked up the middle as the Patriots. You people make me sick with your bull sh--. Buffalo has to have some better fans than this.
  21. People that think McGahee isn't a good back don't understand what it takes to be productive as a RB in terms of the team support - and missed watching Larry JOhnson, Shaun Alexander and Edgerrin James all be less productive than Willis today.
  22. Haha. It's hilarious. The same guy that talks crap about Willis because he didn't say anything positive about the city talks crap about Willis after he says something positive about the city. Similar to how the same people that see Willis as a moronic individual come up with these elaborate acting jobs and conspiracies he's involved in to get a better deal next season. Some people are so biased and hyprocritical in their judgements its pathetic.
  23. First of all, stop hating on Canada/Canadians and our ability to support an NFL team. The Argos get a sh------- fan base because the CFL is garbage, not because we can't support a team. Toronto could do much more to push the Bills organization towards a superbowl than the city of Buffalo could - financially, and in terms of attracting free agents. That said, as a lifelong Bills fan living in toronto, I don't want the Bills here. The Bills BELONG in Buffalo. I'd love Toronto get a NFL team, but even if they did I'd probably be a Bills fan first, and a Toronto fan second. The Buffalo Bills are a blue collar franchise, Toronot is a white collar city. The franchise and the city just don't match. It would be like the Pittsburgh Steelers moving to California.
  24. Everyone has been saying how he's never spoke well about the city of Buffalo..he's all about himself...well...here you go. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=4114
