  1. I thought we would never see one of the QBs either with the Raiders in front of us, but this morning on Inside The NFL Adam Schefter said that the Raiders(now having Aaron Brooks) will be looking at the second or third round someone like Croyle.
  2. When Givins signed with them the said they planned to seriously look at the QB position in the first round.
  3. I do not hink the chart means much in this position. We could get a bidding war with other teams targeting Cutler. If we call the lions and tell them that we will trade with Arizona or Denver, then the Lions would have to offer something to move up one spot. Then the Cards would have to offer up something, eventually the Broncos would give up something more then 15 overall and their second because the Cards or Lions second round picks are worth more.
  4. Yes I see it was a typo, what I meant to say that I think the Saints will overplay their hand and drive a much harder bargain then the Texans. I see the Saints already playing hard to get with the Titans and the Jets, I think one of those teams will say screw it and go to the Texans and the jets now have more ammo to pull of a deal for the number one pick.
  5. Yes Young was dropping after supposed bad Wonderlic score, but he had a good proday and is climbing again.(I dont think GMs listen to the Gurus and with the exceptions of maybe a couple slots guys will go to teams who want them based on their skills rather then by these tests. Wonderlic and prodays I think can only help decide between a couple of guys you are close on your teams bored. That being said if you do poorly everywhere at Indy and your proday, and had a lousy senior bowl then you could definatly drop, but if you have a bad day at one or the other teams will probably overlook that.) Oh and stay away from Nittney Lions D-Lineman
  6. I really think the Texans do not want that number one slot(Casserly has said to anyone that would listen that he would trade the pick), they have too much pressure to take Bush and I do not think they want him. I think they like Ferguson and would be more willing to trade down with the Saints who would overplay their position since they got Brees in the fold.
  7. They said that Glen Parker wasnt interested in staying in Football either(of course I think with him it was about surfing not religion) but he had a long career. After you get that much money you become accostumed to it, and realize you can spend 8-10 years of your life make some good investments and retire in the mid 30's
  8. Pennington is back at a much reduced salary, Ramsey was beat out by Brunell and Campbell. It doesnt really sound like Montana and Young more like Johnson, Flutie
  9. I like Peters at tackle, with his limited time and experience at that position he should a little last year that he had a future there. However we still need a stud left tackle, not just for are QB but for McGahee as well. Is Alexander the best back in the league, doubt it(although he is very good) having Walter Jones and Hutch played into his success. Lewis 2000 yard year he had Ogden, and all those years of Faulk he had Orlando Pace. I believe that QB is the most important position on the team, if you dont have a good line Johnny U would look like crap, and Dickerson would have about a two yard avg.
  10. The Broncos may be targeting Cutler, and I see a possibility that the Bills may now have a chance of trading down and picking up both Denvers first round picks(15 and 22) I have no idea how that works on the point scale but think many GMs could care less about that anyway, maybe use it for more like a guidline then the ten commandments of draft day trades. After doing a little reading the pass couple of days I think that the this might be a scenerio that unfolds Jets take Lienert(trading both their picks to the Texans) Saints take Bush(Duece has been injury prone) Titans take Vince Young Texans take Ferguson Packers take AJ Hawk San Fransico takes Davis Raiders take Mario Williams Buffalo trades pick to Denver where they go after Cutler to beat out the Lions Think this is a possible scenario, while I am on it, are we going to have a first round Mock on this board (not just Bills Picks)for everyones ideas.
  11. Cornerback is the one position I like the bills at. Clements and McGee both play makers, although a proven third corner would be nice, I think Vincent could move back to the nickel spot in a pinch. This team has far to many holes in the front seven or O-Line to worry about depth at corner. Besides I think that corners cound be found in later rounds if the scouts do well.
  12. I totally agree with you, I think Ward is the best COMPLETE PACKAGE at wideout in the game. He is a team guy who gets tons of catches in a run first offense, has played with atleast 4 different QBs since hes been there and almost a new offensive coordinator every year. He blocks downfield, is a great possession reciever who can also make the big play. Randel El and Burress where good recievers, but they should each give Ward some money for making them more then they deserved on the open market.
  13. While I would rather get a player for Moulds and that seems a very good possibility, I think teams looking to get Moulds are the teams trying to win the big dance now. I dont think those teams would be likely to give up one of the pieces they already have in place.
  14. While I am not saying I am pro Bush--trio means three
  15. Seatle for a 3rd or 4th round pick. Maybe Philly, possibility Denver
  16. I know it seems unlikely, I just look at the teams that draft in the top 5 and all have glaring needs much more then RB. The Jets seem to be hot for Lienert and after that I think the Texans really want Ferguson and are using Bush to try to get extra picks. Kubiak being from Denver believes in the system more then the back. My opinion is also not unprecedented as Ricky Williams fell much farther then expected. Although I will concur not the likeliest of probabilities, someone always falls(Leeland McElroy)and it is often a RB. So I am taking a gamble on him falling because I think someone will.
  17. just voicing how I think it will unfold, I do not want to challenge your prowess of over 1000 posts but maybe you could say what part of my post seems drunk to you. I am fine with a seperate opinion, and also ok with listening to yours. If you have something different convince me or atleast attempt it.
  18. I think the Jets will try to trade up to get Lienert, then the Titans will take Cutler, then the Raiders will take Young. Also the Texans take DBrick, saints take Williams, San Fran will get lucky as Bush will fall to them, The Pack will take Hawk. The best thing for the Bills to do will be trade up or down depending on who they think they can get. I think the Bills will be just off one or two slots from a power position, dang win in Cinci
  19. Why does he have to be a tool for Rush, or Hannity. I myself am a Libertarian and do not like the Republicans or Democrats (they both are trying to take your personal liberties, its just a matter of what rights you want to give up). But because someone listens to Fox that makes him a tool. I am sure that not everyone that does not enjoy CNN is a tool, everyone has an opinion on how to best run things. But if someone has tastes differing then yours hes a tool, he is not allowed to get ideas and come to an opinion on his own, because he enjoys said programming.
  20. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times
  21. How about Kelly going backwards-Mathinson,Dufek,Ferragamo,Totten,Ferguson,Kemp,Lamonica-I know I am missing some of the great Qbs that often go unlooked of the Power Bills teams of the mid 80s maybe some one can help me out.
  22. I liked Schopp and Simon on 107.7, but since they went off the air I havent heard them. 550 does not come in real well in Genesee County
  23. I thought maybe you had some advice about heating bills
