Can someone tell me what's up with Price's eye? I've read a bunch of posts stating something about him having a bad eye. What happened to him?

It also points out how Bush wanted to provoke Sadaam into beginning the war. (He also wanted to assassinate him.) Yeah... Bush is one heckuva "Christian". Praise the Lord!!!

Sorry, I'll try to explain. (I gotta be quick... it's a beautiful day, and my kayak's calling!) :smilie: I think what I mean when I say "Blind Nationalism" is that WMD's and the Iraqii threat were the main reasons why you invaded Iraq. Many Americans and most of the world did not agree that immediate invasion was a justified action, however, your President assured everyone that he and his people knew exactly what was really going on and that we should "trust him" and ignore other members of the international community. Quite frankly and no offense I hope, we all thought he was full of ****. Using the gift of hindsight, we now know how horrifically wrong his was. (Look at the chaos that has exploded.) Yet... there seems to be a steady stream of unquestioned support for Bush on this message board. Is there every going to be accountability or is it going to go forgotten in US history? That's what I mean. Off to the beach!

Hi "BiB", Your assuming things. Your last assumption is correct in thinking that Kiwi's are a sensible lot. However, your first assumption (or implication, perhaps?) is wrong. Let's be mature and "assume" that I'm actually against the "wrecking and burning other people's things" part ok? If you throw the word "Sensible" around... try to use it yourself. The final point of your reply actually supports my statement that people don't want to get involved. ("...I have pretty well given up on trying...")

Interesting. You know, in addition to no one speaking about this issue, it seems that no one in the US is talking about the more serious issue of The Coalition of the Willings failure to produce any Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq. We were all assured by you that that you were invading Iraq because they posed a serious threat to your country's security. Or at least your leaders were telling the rest of the world these statements. There are people on this board that are insulting the French again. Why? Because hundreds of thousands, if not millions of their youth are out in the streets executing their democratic responsibility toward their society. Yet, the US seems to be too busy to notice, question or even care about anything if that means turning off the TV and getting off the couch and do something about it. I don't mean to rant or piss you off. I just find some of the blind Nationalism on this board quite shocking.

I'm sure that there has to be some fellow woodworkers here on TSW. Have any of you found any good online resources that share furniture plans or designs? I assume there's some sort of online woodworking community that has this sort of stuff... I just don't know where to find them. Any advice would be great. Go Bills
