  1. I think they get torched tonight. LJ Smith a stud? Hell, he was on more fantasy waiver wires than Anthony Fasano last week.
  2. Agreed.....but right now, he's a rook. I mean, he doens't add much in terms of greatness, at the moment. I can buy hype............but really, I'm still lost. I just don't see it. Tonight should tell us alot.
  3. Those WR's aren't great. I'll just go with Curtis. Great are Brandon Marshall, TO, Boldin, Fitzgerald, Moss, etc.......Curtis is OK. I mean, he's nice on a good team, but he's Kevin Curtis. Mediocre. Just like the rest of them. I don't know. Like I said, I'm not mad....I just dont get it. I really don't. Can't put my finger on it though.
  4. They still have McNabb, and while he's solid, he's also the same QB who seems medicore at best numerous times during the course of a football season. More importantly, IMO, they still have the same crop of mediocre WR's like they've always had. Yeah, they'll bring pressure, and they have Andy Reid, blah blah blah. Most importantly, their division is much better than it was when they won the division all those years in a row. Westbrook is still there, but he's always been there. The secondary is good, blah blah blah. I don't know, these thoughts are random, but I still don't get it. They are solid, but why are they great all of a sudden. I'll leave with this........I HATE DALLAS. FUGGIN HATE THEM. I'd rather bang Rosie O'Donnel than have lunch with Jerry Jones. I'm just calling it now, Dallas will bring the pain tonight and rout the Eagles. The Eagles, while solid, are not elite. I don't get all their hype. Someone help me out on this please!
  5. There's no way Cleveland is in the bottom five. They'll be in the wildscard hunt before it's all said and done.
  6. I could care less what excuses they make for every win we get. Seriously, who cares. It's been so damn long since the playoffs. Hell, I hope every team we play gets GOUT and we win em all because of gout. As long as we win em, I don't care how it happens or what the reason is.
  7. Isn't it pretty easy to still make one of these posts though? I mean seriously, I'm as happy as the next Bills brother that we looked awesome last weekend. I mean, do you know what a ten hour drive is like back to Virginia in the Tom Donahoe era of Bills football? Let me tell you it sucks! But Jeebus Crimony.....the Seahawks have to be one of the worst teams in the league. Their offense is absolutley terrible. So, I'm still cautiously optimistic at this point. Seriously people, we beat the depleted Seahawks. However, unlike in past years, we pounded a team we should have pounded. However, there isn't anyone on this board who can say yet for certainty that this team is a contender yet. That was not a test. But man, it sure was fun pounding someone wasn't it? LOL
  8. LOL, I have the EXACT same problem. I'm gonna play the Bills D, just because the Jags are so beat up on the offensive line.
  9. Vinny gets the call to come back to the NFL yet again? I heard he's starting to jog again, and has resumed his throwing program in the local YMCA flag football league. Will he be spotted at Logan Airport? LOL
  10. I'm not sure if Boselli is the best I've ever seen. I will say this though, nobody.....no really, NOBODY was ever able to control Bruce Smith like Boselli. Boselli owned Bruce. That says something right there.
  11. Because we really don't know what to expect. Not only that, but Seattle is missing half of its team also. Oh, and for the record, this couple across the hall from me, HATE the notion that the Bills are playing games in Toronto. They have season tickets HERE, and love coming HERE, and hope the Bills never go to Toronto. Good Times!!! Good Canucks!!! FUGG TORONTO. GO BILLS!!!
  12. and only one of them is holding out? !@#$ YOU PETERS!
  13. I'll be there..... Section 137, Row 32, Seats 9-10! And you?
  14. Ken O'Brien was a damn good QB. Many teams passed on Marino, but taking O'Brien worked out OK for them. O'Brien lead the league in passing a couple of times. O'Brien was probably one of their better QB's ever to play in NY.
  15. Not only that, but Mario Williams had the bust word given to him by a bunch of impatient morons after his first season of pro football, while Reggie Bush made a bunch of nice plays in New Orleans. Tell me where both of those players stand now?
  16. It's pre-season for christs sakes. And who gives a crap about the Dolphins imitating some flypaper sh--. I mean, really, who cares? That being said, any homer here who doesn't think the Dolphins franchise will quickly return to a solid NFL state is sadly mistaken. It won't take Parcells long to get them turned around. It sucks to have to deal with Belicheck and Parcells. Oh well. Here's hoping it takes them a while.
  17. 1. Workers who get mad when a customer actually comes in when you are STILL OPEN.
  18. This post is dead wrong. The MAC is actually it's strongest since Big Ben played at Miami. The two clear cut dominant teams are actually Central Michigan and Ball State. Central Michigan has one of the best college football players in the country in Dan LeFevour. Ball State has one of, if not the best pro QB prospect in the country in Nate Davis. BSU also has one of the best WR's and a possible first round NFL TE too. Then, in the second tier you have teams like UB, BG, and Ohio. Teams like Toledo, Akron, and Northern Illinois aren't staples in the MAC like Michigan, OSU and Penn State are in the Big Ten. The top teams in the MAC always flucuate. This year, though, looks to be one that is very promising for the MAC. You should see bowl wins from the conference easily. Question is......and it's not too far fetched.....is can Ball State actually crash the BCS party. The only problem is that they play at Central Michigan. One could also think CMU could maybe crash the BCS party, but I think they have a MAJOR D-1 opponent, were Ball State is playing teams they can handle like Navy, Indiana, etc). BSU has a favorable schedule and great talent to actually do it. Or at least become a media darling for forcing the BCS hand. Last year was a down year in the MAC. This year, the MAC is very good.
  19. Congrats to UB. My alma mater, Ball State kicked ass last night as well, and have three of the best offensive weapons in the country. I'm so pumped about this season because Ball State has it's best team in school history, with two possible first round NFL picks next year. Outside of Miami of Ohio being drubbed at home last night, which is a little disappointing, the MAC schools put the smack down on non-conference opponents last night, and that's a good thing. Ball State will kick the sh-- out of Navy next Friday, at home, on ESPN. Can't wait. Pretty decent start for the MAC.
  20. I'll be at the game also. However, I am throwing a tailgate in my driveway with four other Bills fans for game two though. Anyone is welcome here for that one. Just let me know if you are interested.
  21. I went to college at Ball State in the early to mid 90's. The Colts NEVER sold out games. In fact, it was great, because the Colts used to play in the AFC East, and the Bills easily had about 10,000 fans at every game in Indy. Most of the upper deck seemed like all Bills fans. The fans in Indy were terrible....even up to the point when the Colts and Jim Harbaugh almost beat the Steelers in the AFC CHampionship game. Then, of course, Peyton changed all of that. They had their tradition started with Manning and company. I think they have created a base there, but when he's gone, and the Colts start to struggle again, which they will, they will NOT sell that place out at those prices. No way in hell. Indy isn't really a basketball state over football. That's kind of overblown. Indiana is a great amatuer and college state period. In high school, their basketball, football, baseball and almost every other high school sports playoffs are well attended. It's going to be interesting to see how the Colts do after Manning. My guess is that Manning will retire, Polian will follow suit, and then we'll see how much interest Colts fans have in paying $200 per seat. I would bet the house it will be blackout city again, and the Bengals will be on TV every week just like before. Most of the state in the north likes the Bears anyway. Most of the state in the southeast likes Cincy. They'll struggle.
  22. I don't know, I just assumed I guess. I was doing so good to stay outta all Peters threads......that was.......until the Stephen Jackson news today, so I jumped in this thread, skimmed it, and then starting popping off. LOL I'm done. The off-season is so much more enjoyable if one can just stay out of these debates on message boards. Now, I'm gonna go and try to not peek in on this thread any more after this! LOL
  23. This is about as dumbed down a comment that there is. Too much ESPN for everyone nowadays. If you have a stud at any position, you don't usually just about and replace them either. If Lee Evans suffered a long term injury tomorrow, we wouldn't be able to just go out and replace him tommorow either. So, gee Bill Parcells, no fuggin schittt. After the first few days of Free Agency, nobody can really just go out and replace any stud on their team easily or without a miracle trade.
