  1. So, since some of us can't read, why is it that you would want a coach that is "beyond overrated"? Now, I know you said that. So, tell us why you would want that for your favorite team?
  2. Oh come on, no sour grapes. Cowher would have been an awesome fit. If Lebeau was that good, maybe his head coaching tenure would have been a bit better. That was a great staff in Pittsburgh. Cowher is a good coach. So is Lebeau.
  3. I would have settled for a 1/4th Orakpo. Now, I know alot of rookies can be at least a 1/4th of an Orakpo. That's not too much to ask is it?
  4. Our new GM was our National Scout. I'm pretty sure he should have a handle on things.
  5. LMAO. How utterly stupid is this post? So, based on Parrish and McKelvin's prior track record, they should not have been returning kicks and punts? You realize how utterly stupid that is right?
  6. For the second year in a row, the Bills open on MNF when the Bill Cowher lead Bills host the Pittsburgh Steelers???
  7. So, because Roscoe had a bad year, and April's teams weren't as quite up to snuff as they were in the past, he now sucks all of a sudden. If anyone on this Bills staff or team should get a pass, it's this guy. His teams have been one of the best in the league for a long time.
  8. Gotta like this in a different kind of way. Jay has seem to come out of nowhere, and is now getting a scoop from someone about the Bills. So, isn't he the one who broke the most optimistic news about Cowher to this point? Maybe he's on to something. We can only hope. Get er Done Buddy! Make your mark early.
  9. Wow, I really have no problem with this, but I think Bobby April should've been at least detained on a wait and see basis. He has obviously done an incredible job over the years. I can't imagine any new coach not wanting this guy to run his special teams units.
  10. I second this part. When I remembered he was even on the team yesterday, I tried to watch him on a few plays. He was being manhandled by the offensive lineman he was going up against. He tried to bull rush once, and was totally stood up and engulfed. Got zero push. Then, we had his typical outside pass rushing loops a few times. I didn't notice him try and go inside too much. But on the rush where he didn't "loop", he was absolutely manhandled. Pathetic actually. PS - I go to about 3 or 4 PSU games a year, and was sickened by this pick when the Bills made it. I sure hope it turns out well though.
  11. I wouldn't mind Martyball with good coordinators.
  12. I was wondering. I was gonna come up if the Colts were undefeated, but after they lost, and the weather for today, we decided against it. Long drive back to Virginia if 90 slows you down.
  13. A LOT. OK, name me A LOT of other teams worse than here at this point? Just curious. I really want you to prove me wrong.
  14. Did you go to the game today? If so, how was the drive on 90 back to Erie after the game?
  15. Exactly what Charlie Casserly said today at Noon. He said Kubes would have been extended either way.
  16. Not problem....How about more connected with what's going on, than you and I who sit in front of a TV. You know, those kinds of people.
  17. I haven't heard that from one person with any kind of credibility whatsoever. None. Not Gil Brandt, not John Clayton, not Adam Shefter, not Schopp's contact in SD, and not anyone in fact. All of the guys I stated above, I personally heard discuss Buddy Nix. They all did love him, and said he's a great guy. All of them also said AJ Smith is deeply involved in personnel and the building of the SD team. Everyone seems to like what Nix stands for on the football front. But I've heard NOT ONE expert say Nix was even remotely more responsible for building the Chargers. Not one. They all did, though, think it was a good hire for the Bills.
  18. Isn't Bobby April an assistant Head Coach for the Bills who was passed over for Fewell? What's your point?
  19. That's because Casserly, himself, is a source. One of the most trusted names in football. I'll take his word for it.
  20. Charlie Casserly just said on CBS that he not only expects Kubiak to be back next season, but he looks for them to give him a nice extension.
  21. I'm wondering if the Bengals will change their tune if the notice the Patriots lose earlier in the day to the Texans. They can then maybe try to move up a spot. Who knows. I just can't believe both would blow this off like this. Most likely won't matter, but could end up huge in the end.
  22. They are both huge underdogs. Both the Pats and Bengals. So, I'm assuming they are resting.
