Amen. The profession is going downhill as fast as any other out there. The way they all scramble to report on a rumor posted anywhere on the net is really getting annoying for people trying to find out correct information. The best advice is to try to be patient and let all the rumoring internet "journalists" and print "journalists" scramble to get the story right. Like anyone seriously cares who breaks the story. Really, does anyone seriously care who breaks it first? It's then on 5 million websites within minutes anyway. It's like TV stations thinking that the announcing crew draws in viewers. They actually don't. People watch, because it's football. Shefter was dead on in what he posted on Twitter. He's in his job for a reason. His connections are great, and he posted about the Bills with strong confidence last night. It's a shame though, because it's even hard to trust guys like Shefter anymore, because of how bad the internet has made things. Best advice, even though it's hard as crap to do because we are hooked to our football team, is be patient, let time pass, and let it confirm through numbers of people. The most annoying part however, is that it doesn't seem like Buffalo has any journalists with any kind of inside info about the Bills. There isnt' a go to guy out there in the Buffalo area. I also put the blame squarely on the Bills, for being one of the most hard to work with teams in the NFL (media wise). Oh well. Patience Grasshopper. As hard as it is, we all need patience these days to let all of the internet "sources" battle out every rumor/signing/agreement out there.

So, in other words, Shefter was right the whole time. He tweeted that Edwards reached an AGREEMENT (notice the word signed didn't appear in the tweet). Said the Bills had a big day. There's a reason Shefter does what he does. It looks like he was right. Kudos to Shefter. Kudos to the Bills, the Ravens fans seemed to really like Edwards. We finally have a couple of new serviceable toys to play with.

LOL. Nice. I think I'll bust that out here in VA when we have our next Pens playoff party. I like it. The most painful thing ever last year was watching the Pens play the Caps in round 2 as I had to watch Comcast Sportsnet Washington and their whiny announcers. Even though Versus had the games, they only had exclusive rights in the conference finals and stanley cup finals. Since I live in the Caps home market, I had to watch all seven games (or maybe 5, NBC might have had two) on Washington's network. IT ROYALLY SUCKED.

Are you kidding me? Living in VA, I had trouble giving away the tickets I couldn't use last year. I ate the Houston and Indy games. Someone bought my tickets for two other games, and I offered him the Houston game for free, and he didn't want to even take them with him. The more and more they suck, and the later in the year we go, the harder it is for people like me, out of state, to sell these things off.

Nope, I got the same deal. No way they take it away. If they do, just remind them how many games you missed on Versus, cuz the asswipes took the channel down all those months.

Great for us Center Ice Subscribers also. Even though we have Center Ice, this would have knocked about 75% of the playoffs off the air, period. This is a big relief.

I can't friggin stand Boudreau. He's the new biggest whiny coach in the game today. It was priceless last year, when the bulldog looking sap had to stand there in amazement as the Penguins wiped the Capitals asss on his home ice in game seven. It's apparent that Boudreau, Ovie, Leonsis, and all Caps fans are extremely jealous of the Penguins. I don't blame them though, can you? The Penguins have been ending the Capitals seasons in the playoffs for the better part of 20 plus years. The more we beat them, the better it keeps getting. And then Crosby one ups Ovie in the Olympics too. Let him stay jealous, it makes the one sided rivalry that much better. Boudreau is a whiny piece of schitt.

Canes fans already don't like the Pens because of Orpiks hit on Eric Cole, and then the Walker hit compounded that. So, I do remember that one. I don't remember the one on Anisimov. Seems pretty dirty indeed. As I said, as a Pens fan, I think his hit was total BS. Kind of sickened me. And then the league just lets it go. Weak.

I know man, it really sucks. If they weren't on friggin Versus so much, we could watch the home FSN feed in the first two rounds. I was just starting to sweat this a bit, because you know they'll put the Pens on VS as much as possible. Oh well, let's hope for the #2 seed. I think if they get that, it'll be a cakewalk to the Eastern Conference Finals!!!

I'm a Penguins fan, and Cooke's hit was ridiculous also. Cooke should be gone for a minimum of five games. Cooke is a fiesty player, and I've never really seen him play dirty to that kind of degree, but that hit to Savard was uncalled for. I wish Cooke would have gotten punishment. And yeah, I know rules state differently on what type of hit it was, but he should have been suspended. Common sense sees Cooke's elbow extended to the head for no reason. That being said, I can't wait to see this game between the Pens and Boston this week. LOL. Penguin fans may see Eric Godard dressed for the first time in a long time.

I think he'll get suspended because it's easy to do right now. The Caps have the East locked down, and missing Ovechkin won't really hurt them that much. This is an easy time to suspend him, and you can bet that Bettman will take this easy road to do it. Bettman absolutely sucks.

My honest opinion? I was seriously pissed last year, when we took him over Orakpo, and I'm even more pissed now. And......I'm also a Penn State fan. But I have to admit, I would like to see what he may be able to do in the 3-4. At least now he MAY have a chance. My only hope is that he is pretty young, and probably is still filling out.
