  1. No, some of us just think it's hilarious how worked up a lot of people get when someone, god forbid, writes something critical about this team.....which has been run awful for more than a decade. I could actually care less if Jerry is negative or positive, but the whining about Buffalo's most popular writer is laughable. And whether you admit it or not, it's mostly because this team has been so abysmal. So, today, just for one day, all the whiners can rejoice, and act like Jerry is a fan of the Bills just like we are. Today should be a great day for all the Chris Brown lovers out there. It's like our very own Buffalo Bills woodstock with this lovefest going on. LMAO. Your honor, the defense rests!!!
  2. Your honor, I'd like to admit this as evidence #2. And here I thought the Bills over the last ten years gave Jerry plenty of reasons to "pile on" and wallow in misery. I guess that Jerry's fault though, and not the Bills front office for being the worst franchise in the NFL in the 2000's. But hey, feel good my man, sneak a peek at Jerry's article today while you listen to WGR (I won't tell anyone that you don't read it, OR listen to WGR, trust me), while you and Chris Brown pop open champagne bottles after what happened yesterday. Jerry's positive for at least one day. He must be crazy. He kind of likes this 4-10 team, just like we do. I'll be damn. LOL That was some funny schitt right there.
  3. Sully is, easily, the most read sports writer for the Buffalo News. Easily. But a lot of people like to pile on, because he's usually negative on the Bills. I can't imagine why, right? Well, today, he wrote something positive. He's a few weeks later than most of us on appreciating this current Bills team, but he finally kind of admitted they've grown on him and did something relatively meaningful yesterday. I was just pointing it out, since every whiner likes to point out all of his negative columns, which means they still read him every week. A lot of people here would appoint Chris Brown as a pulitzer prize winner for his lemming stuff about the Bills. I just like to point out that when negative Nancy Jerry sees something he likes, he can be just as positive as he is negative. I mean really, the last ten years and positivity surrounding the Bills is pretty hard to justify. So, today, it's the day of the whiner. Rejoice everyone, Jerry is happy!!!
  4. No, the difference between anyone here and Jerry, is that Jerry's not a fan. And he doesn't have to be. Nor should we really want him to be, so we can get the other view, as much as we might not like it. Bill in NYC tells it like it is, with some twists of "you can tell he's still a fan" mixed in. Sullivan doesn't do that, because he's a pro. Bill in NYC can inject a simple "but man I love the Bills when they do that" kind of posting, because he's a fan, thus, still reiterating to all of us that he's a Bills fan (and that somehow makes us feel better). Sullivan doesn't need to do that. He's not, or doesn't have to be, a fan. But hey, wouldn't it be nice, if they were all like Chris "lemming" Brown? Now THAT is some journalism.
  5. It's just so refreshing watching Gailey in a presser as compared to the last three idiots that have head coached the Bills. Gailey is a breath of fresh air. It's amazing that he doesnt' have to watch "the tape" to tell us things that we witnessed ourselves on TV.
  6. Some of you just don't get it. It's not his job to celebrate. He's an opinion writer. It's worthless even trying to explain that again. But hey, Chris Brown is such a good read!!!
  7. What about the perfect strike he threw for about 20 yards in the endzone that his target dropped? I'm just saying, let's point out all of the plays if you are going to single out one "lucky" play. He looked pretty decent for a rook on the road yesterday. He definitely wasn't scared, I can tell you that.
  8. How dare he write a positive piece, and feel good about the Bills? So, what, none of the whiny bitches want to post today that Jerry was finally teabagging the Bills and Fitzpatrick in his column today? I'm surprised. For as many of you who whine about how WGR blows (yet you all still listen to it, despite claiming not to), and that Jerry sucks because he's critical of what has been pretty much the worst franchise in the NFL over the last decade, where are you today? I thought, after reading today's piece, some of you would be throwing confetti, like you were at a Bills game in 1991. Or popping open the champagne, because Jerry wrote a feel good column today. Come on whiners, rejoice, today is your day. Jerry seemed to have some fun watching the Bills yesterday. He even seems to be a little bit of a fan, which some of you want so dearly. Today is your day. Speak up. Give Jerry his props. Just think if they beat New England! Jerry will be gushing with Bills pride. And then, all of you that wish he was Chris Brown instead of Jerry Sullivan would be ecstatic. Go Bills. ONE WIN over the Pats would be sweet, for you, me and for our boy Jerry Sullivan.
  9. LOL. This is both a pathetic post and one that, for some reason, I understand. Bills fans are all excited because we've beaten Detroit, Cincinnati, Cleveland and Miami. There really isn't a good team in that bunch. It's pathetic. Bills fans now have such low standards, it's just pitiful. On the other hand, I totally agree with you. This team is totally fun to root for, and I can't wait for the offseason to see if we can acquire some help to move forward next year. I guess if we want to spin things, we are 4-2 in our last six!
  10. There is no way in hell it was over 50,000. Only a "dumbass" would even try to say there was. 50,000 means the stadium was over 2/3 full. Ummmmm, no way in hell. That means tickets sold, not how many people actually went through the turnstiles. There's no way over 50,000 walked through the gates yesterday. For the Detroit game, there were about 13,000 - 15,000 seats left unsold, and while the crowd was sparse, the only really noticeable blocks of empties were in the upper deck corners. 72-15 = 57,000. There is no way in hell the crowd yesterday was anywhere near the Detroit game. You make a good point though, about gate numbers in box scores with teams being sold out but having less numbers in the attendance lines. I used to work in the ticket office for the Atlanta Braves, and we counted tickets sold as attendance. So, even when there were sometimes 10,000 people in the park, we announced the attendance as say.....22,059. I don't know if the NFL has a blanket policy on how attendance is actually counted or if it's left up to the individual clubs as how they choose to count it. Not a chance.
  11. 11 years and counting and the fact that the Cleveland Browns were the opponent in yet another meaningless, punchless game was the reason the stadium was 1/3 full.
  12. LOL. You've gotta be kidding me. Denver has just come off of a fantastic of run of good football, for what, about 20 years? And as bad as the Skins are, they've been to the playoffs and have had better teams and more interesting players than the Bills that last ten years. I mean, come on. A tiny bit of objectivity would be nice. How in the hell is Bowlen a mess because he tried to change Shanahan, who seemed to get mired in mediocrity? So, he whiffed on McDaniels. OK. Big Deal. He also moved on. Now he'll try again. How many teams whiffed once on a coach? The Bills have whiffed how many times? And Bowlen once. But Bowlen's a mess?
  13. Are you talking just to talk? Freddie Jackson would easily start for Green Bay, Chicago, Indy, New England, NY Jets, San Diego, Kansas City, or Tampa Bay. Those are just off the top of my head, without thinking too hard, and all are pretty good teams. Maybe not the Jets, but IMO, he's better than both Greene and LT (at this point in his career).
  14. They do look fantastic. Of course though, Russ Brandon can't hear us. Has he done one good thing for this franchise pertaining to anything ON THE FIELD?
  15. Which is now exactly one more that Maybin has. LMAO. I'm hoping Maybin gets one, so he has something to put on his website's "highlight" video.
  16. No, I still would have been. A.) I'm originally from Pittsburgh. Born and raised, and I can't stand the lucky bastards. B.) I knew there were gonna be a lot of Steeler fans there today, and I didn't want to see that. C.) I really have truly had enough with the beatdowns and close losses. It's weird, I'm not bitter at this current team, but the front office and owner have taken it out of me enough over the last decade to not want to be humiliated anymore and have to drive home 10 hours, THROUGH PITTSBURGH, and think about the same dumb mistakes that we've seen for years. I was actually happy I didn't go today. I am sad though, that my Bills season, attending games in person this year, pretty much ended after the second home game of the season this year. I have a newborn baby, and the ticket money recouped has been spent on her, rather than to subject myself to more excruciating losses. Make no mistake though, I AM enjoying this team a lot. It's almost impossible to not root for these guys. Not the front office, but this group of players and Gailey and his staff have really battled this year. They have gotten the most out of their talent. Let's just see if the front office helps them out this offseason. I still have my doubts.
  17. This has nothing to do with the fact that they travel well, live in Erie, blah, blah, blah. I'm with Badol. I sold my tickets, probably to Steelers fans on Ticket Exchange for $135 a piece (about $55 over face value each). After 11 years of losing, I'm sick and tired of driving home 10 hours after either getting our asses handed to us, or losing like we did today. If the Bills would have a better product, there would be about 5,000 Steelers fans at most. Combine the Bills sucking again with the best traveling fans in the league, and you get what happened today. In a 2-9 season, thank god I got something out of my season ticket investment this season, even if they probably sold to Steeler fans. Of course, if I didn't live in VA, I would have been there. However, I'm so glad I don't have to drive home tonight after another one of these losses. I still pony up for tickets, but it's been getting harder and harder to get motivated to make it to every game anymore. Wierd thing is.....I think I like this Bills team more than any of teams in the last ten years.
  18. Dang it. I put the wrong link in that original post. It's in the 6:58 mark of this video!! Sorry. Bruce - Crowd - Corrected Linkage I agree. The only defensive player I've ever watched that you could count on to make a play similar to how a good offensive QB could make a play. Truly amazing.
  19. Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce is rushing the passer, and jusssssst when he begins to turn the corner on an opposing Left Tackle, the crowd begins to already rise in anticipation of him getting to the quarterback. Now mind you, he didn't beat the left tackle yet, but you just knew he would, because he was in his patented tuck and lean. And then BOOM, down goes the opposing QB, and the stadium is going nuts. Link you say, check out the 6:58 mark of this video, and look at the crowd. I used to love moments like these. Bad Things man......I mean bad things!
  20. That's a friggin awesome video. Thanks for the post!!!
  21. #1 Spiller? Terrible pick. I hope the kid becomes good, but RB's are the easiest position to fill. Another typical bad pick on a team that needs a cast of players, not a RB. But oh well I guess. #2 If that QB is Andrew Luck, I absolutely take him. I think he's that good. He's smart. Has the size. Has the pedigree. Has great coaching, and good bloodlines. He sure looks like a can't miss player and a franchise type QB. Those are hard to find. If anyone else but Luck is there, I pass, and build the lines and move on with Fitz and don't think twice.
  22. Some of you guys have your head so far up your ass when it comes to the Bills it isn't funny. While I'm wondering if Luck actually feels that way, it most certainly can happen. Was Eli Manning drafted first by the Chargers? Would he have played for them? No. It's not far fetched to think Luck won't come out if he doesn't want to play for the Bills. He has that option because he's a sophomore. Manning didn't have that option because he was a senior. He did make it known though, that he woudln't report to San Diego, and already had a trade forced to NY on draft day. This really isn't far fetched on Luck's part. Harbaugh probably hates the Bills. There is no certainty in that, but it's probably true. Oliver Luck, with his pro connections probably knows the Bills are a mess. Or at least, people feed that info to him. So, it's not far fetched to think Luck wouldn't come out if Buffalo picks first. It happens.
  23. UGH. Why is he on Thursday Night Football? I just threw up in my mouth.
