  1. APUS - Actually, I think you are kinda correct. I think the Bills cover is a regional cover. I think there are a bunch of covers this week, and most of them are regional. It looks like the their are all kinds of covers this week covering football, baseball, college football, etc. So, everyone wins here. EVERYONE was right. LOL. WOOHOO. That doesn't happen often.
  2. What's wrong with what he said? I also still think the division goes through NE. I also think the Raiders will beat the Patriots this week. I also hope the Bills shove it up all these guys azz's over the course of the whole season, but I see nothing wrong with his thinking. Hopefully, he's not right. It's not like the Pats couldn't have easily won this game on our field. They didn't, but they were right there. They'll get better, we'll get better. We'll see who wins.
  3. Yeah, but the real re-signings and real money is coming up next with Fitz, Johnson, etc. Guys at skill positions. We'll see.
  4. APUS - Not at all calling you out, so that's not why I'm posting this. However, don't underestimate that baseball, outside of a few cities in America (Boston, New York, St Louis), really isn't all that popular anymore. I never hear anyone talking baseball....period. It will soon be a regional thing kind of like hockey and basketball, whereas, if your team is good, people will pay attention, and if they aren't, no one really cares. You can see this in most baseball cities where you have to have a carnival or concert going in, in addition to the game, for people to want to buy tickets. Football is on it's own level in the US. And the NFL, which has no equal, is only slightly challenged, by, not one of the other pro leagues, but instead college football. Our Bills are the story this week. I'm not sure we are more justified than the Detroit Lions, but the perfect storm of us being 3-0 with two dramatic wins (and beating NE) got us the cover this week. I love it.
  5. WOOHOO. Did we call it or what? I love it. AWESOME COVER!!!
  6. Are you in Section 135? I am in 136, 15 rows up, and I've never felt anything like that before. It was simply awesome. I've never felt so good driving home to Virginia the next day with Bills stuff all over my car. Loved every minute of this.
  7. Obviously Amish Potato Salad or Amish Macaroni Salad. That was easy.
  8. How about a headline with a pun....... "Time to Pay the Bills" - Fitz - Stevie - Freddie
  9. Although I can agree that they may put baseball on there, it's absolutely false about many people outside of Buffalo caring about us beating the Pats. I live in VA where it's a melting pot of fans from all over the country. I've been getting calls all week at work about the Bills-Raiders game and they hope we beat the Pats this week. I walk into a store with Bills stuff on this week, and I'm getting thumbs up and man that game last week was great. I hope you guys beat the Pats. The bar where my mom watches the game in Virginia Beach had almost all of the patrons surrounding her and touching her Fitz jersey last week as the Bills came back to win. For the first time in 3 years of going there, all of the patrons voted that the Bills - Pats game will be on that TV this week for her. They all are pulling for the underdog for the most part. I listen to Sirius NFL radio this week, and I heard Colts and Steelers fans calling in and saying they hope the Bills whip the Pats before they made their comments. The Bills are seriously on the NFL stage this week.....BIG TIME. This is a chance for them to really hit it big. Let's just hope they can get it done. They are getting all kinds of love from ALL media and fans all around the league. Everyone knows about this game. Not many people still believe in the Bills, but if this game is a dogfight at all, all NFL eyes will be on this game. Speaking of a causal fan, I honestly haven't heard anyone here even mention anything about baseball in about 4 months. GO BILLS.
  10. I say it will be a snapshot of Scott Chandler jumping into the endzone fans with David Nelson not far behind him.
  11. YES. Fitz on the intro to SC and now we're even on the The Weather Channel. Leaving for the game from VA in a bit, and I'm watching the Weather Channel, and I hear the guy say the best response so far to his question was in fact GO BILLS, and he chuckled. YEAH BABY! Doesn't mean a thing, but this sure has been a terrific week leading up to this football game. Please god, I know I prayed from my seats last week, but still, please bring it home for us this week. GO BILLS
  12. Hook, line and sinker and I bit on this one big time. Jesus.
  13. Saw a lot of slippage going on this past Sunday by a lot of players. Hopefully the Bills can use this to their advantage, however small that may be all together. Field looks good. Endzones are OK, but nothing great. Overall though, a ton better than what we had. Feels like Buffalo again.
  14. "David took the stone out of the bag and he slung it, and struck the philistine on the head, and he fell to the ground" - This Sunday at Ralph Wilson Stadium LETS GO BUFFALO!!!
  15. I'm in again. For the second week in a row I'm making the drive up from Richmond VA. Section 135, Row 17 - Season Tickets ***I would do anything to win this friggin game. Anything. Loud and Proud this week boys!!!
  16. I'm in: Section 135, Row 17 - Season Tickets And I'm jacked.
  17. The only reason I posted this is because when I got home I read the quote from Gailey tonight, after hearing this about Easley this weekend....... "As far as Marcus Easley's illness Gailey said, "It's gotten more prolonged than we thought. We're going have to get more evaluation on him and see exactly where that's going to go. He won't be ready this week for sure. I know what it is, but I'm not going to say. I think he should be the one to say if anybody does." Now, after the story I was told, and after the storyteller said Gailey was PISSED OFF, tell me that quote doesn't reek of Easley being in the doghouse?????
  18. I'm pretty sure this is true. I've just been waiting to see what the announcement about the imjury actually is. There are a decent amount of witnesses supposedly, so I'm waiting to see what the Bills say about it. That's why I didn't wanna talk about it, because I'm not sure if they will admit it or not. Either way, I think it's pretty funny. And I certainly don't think Easley meant any harm. Just a tad dumb, and a lot more unlucky.
  19. I think it's transferred to a doghouse type of thing now. Not sure, but I heard Gailey was not happy. Not sure about this part though. But that's what I'm thinking. Shouldn't keep him out two games, so it seems like the player might be in the doghouse.
  20. Yep. A ton of it. Again, I don't know if it's food poisoning or what, but he wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy overdid a wing contest. And I heard Gailey was PISSED. LOL. Could you imagine?
  21. LMAO. That's what I heard. Seriously. And he got sick because of it. Now, I was at work, and didn't get to ask about how he got sick. Did he get food poisoning? Did he choke on a bone? Did he just overeat? I have no idea. I think the direct quote from the story was this..... "This idiot was in a fuggin wing eating contest and got sick" What that means, I have no idea. But apparently, he was trying for a championship belt of some sort. LOL. Don't know if it's true, but the business source is rock solid. Dating back to the Polian era.
  22. I don't think it's that bad. I just think it's probably something that an NFL coach would say something like..... "Really Marcus? No, Seriously, really?" Followed by a slap upside his head.
  23. From what I heard, more on the illness side of things. And perhaps from eating??? In a contest??? And now that I'm pretty sure I know, I want to see if they cover it up or not. And I certainly don't want to post it, because there is no winner here when anyone posts anything credible. But man, it's really not that bad, but just turned out stupid. LOL LOL. No. Although, that would make for a good story. Has to do with food. A famous Buffalo food. COME ON, someone from OP want to chime in?
