  1. Did I just hear NBC supplement Cruz's TD dance with Salsa music? Jesus
  2. First the kudos to John. John, you seem like the only local media guy that gets any kind of scoop at all from the Bills. And a lot of times it's from Wilson's mouth directly. Kudos John, you seem like the only connected Western New York media person around. And for the rest. Aside from typical things that make all of us sick, like no word on a succession plan, blah blah blah.....we get John's article today. Wilson makes me sick. Period. Just as I predicted, we are already getting the excuses for Russ Brandon's marketing plan next year. INJURIES. Right out of Ralph's mouth more or less. They will sell to us that the Bills were fine until injuries hit. It's a flat out joke. He's clueless. Or he's a genius, because he knows people will buy this crap......although, season tickets are dropping like flies, and will continue to do so next year as well. Second, here comes the Toronto BS. We need Toronto to survive. Blah, blah, blah, blah blah. For christ's sakes Ralph, don't put a good product on the field and watch ticket sales skyrocket. Nooooo. Let's sell HOME GAMES to Toronto, lose that competitive advantage that makes winning even harder, and pocket the cash. YOU ARE A JOKE. Then, let's give them a game earlier in the year, even though from a pure football standpoint, and your current roster and Gailey's offense, it would make sense to play a late game (season wise) in a dome. Really, with Buffalo's spread, it would make more sense to play a game indoors late in the year to help Fitz's passing game. But no, when you don't care about winning, you move the game in the middle of the season to appease ticket sales, not win a game. Tickets in my section were going on Ticketexchange for $300 a piece for the Eagles game this year. If you put a winning product on the field, Buffalo's ticket base would explode. Period. No other NFL owner would willfully sell home games, except for maybe the Glazers for money. None. And people hate the Glazer's too. And then we get the "patience" thing from Ralph today. Patience Ralph, really? In today's NFL, you can turn things around in a hurry. Patience? For what, so you can keep letting guys walk, creeate more holes and then try to re-fill them, while staying as far under the salary cap as possible? You, RALPH WILSON, are a joke. I'm seriously sick of you. I'm your customer, and I'm sick and tired of your horseschitt. I really am. Your lucky I'm not one of the other 20,000 or so fans to dump their season tickets since the year of T.O. And I'm sick and tired of hearing about how cheap tickets are in Buffalo. THEY SHOULD BE CHEAP, because your product sucks ass. SELL THE TEAM. Really Ralph. Sell it. I'm sick and tired of not knowing whether or not this team will be here or not. I'm sick and tired of an owner who's #1 priority is NOT winning. I'm sick and tired of Buffalo not being represented in a fast paced, younger man's business. Yeah Ralph, thanks for keeping the team in Buffalo. Even though you should be thanking Buffalo for making your kingdom. For some reason, we have to thank you, according to others. You know what.....thanks, and don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. SELL THE FUGGIN TEAM. I'm ready to see what happens. You're a joke. Merry friggin Christmas Ralph, my check will be in the mail in a month or two again for nmext season, despite you being the slumlord of the NFL. Signed, Section 135, Row 17, seats 13 and 14
  3. In terms of the OP's point, today was a pretty good day for the Bills. A lot of the drek of the NFL won today. Washington, KC, Miami, Carolina, Philly, Arizona and Seattle. San Diego is winning too. Cleveland did choke and snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, but overall, in terms of draft order, the Bills slid further up the ladder, or can now be easily passed as they slid into ties with a lot of other crappy teams. Hey, it can't hurt right? Hopefully the further forward we go, maybe even the front office can't screw things up. See, Dareus, Marcell.
  4. Ummmmm, I've been doing it for 14 years now. Any other questions?
  5. I'm a season ticket holder and I'm not going. My Christmas did come early though, because I sold my tickets on Ticketexchange after the Dallas game. The Miami tickets sold the same day. I was shocked. The Tennessee tickets sold the next day. I was again pretty shocked. But where I almost shat myself came about a week ago when my Denver, Christmas Eve tickets sold for face value on the ticket (meaning I made a profit). I have great seats, but it was a Christmas miracle indeed. I live in VA, and I'm so sick and tired of meaningless games. I just can't justify the travel anymore for drek. However, with tickets readily available, I simply cannot believe all three of my final games sold at face value or higher. Gotta love it.
  6. Take this for what it's worth. I don't put much stock in it, but it is what it is. I was cold called by Verizon the other day and they attempted to get me to get my TV service with them. We have phone and internet through FIOS, and TV with Direct TV...............obviously, so I can watch the Bills in Virginia. So, I tell the guy that I would switch in a heartbeat if FIOS got the NFL package and I could drop Direct TV. He proceeds to tell me that they have the redzone channel, to which I replied, I could care less because I want to watch the Bills. So, I told him again, to put in his notes that if FIOS ever gets the NFL package, to call me back, and I would gladly drop DTV during that phone call. He told me that he'll be calling me next year because they are completing a deal to get the package. Without giving too much thought about it, because I don't believe him, I simply told him that I'll look forward to his phone call sometime soon then. He said, you bet. I don't believe this one bit, but I thought I would pass it along. I would do ANYTHING, to dump Direct TV. The NFL package holds the key for me to be able to do that. I hope this boob really knows something that the rest of the country doesn't. Well, I think I probably just answered my own questions about this topic........not gonna happen. Again, take it for what it's worth.
  7. If it makes you feel any better, my neighbor has a Mercedes SUV and a porsche convertible. Both are in the shop more than any car I've ever owned. In fact, the Porsche needs a new engine in which her lowest quote for it has been 15k just for that. NOt sure how hard she's looked around, but still. Meanwhile I keep lapping her every day in my Kia Sorento. Don't fell all that bad. Just a little something to cheer you up.
  8. In scheduling purposes for next year, you most likely would get Kansas City and Cleveland on our schedule, as opposed to Oakland and Cincinnati. We need to lose out.
  9. I'm not a Sabres fan. I have a pretty objective view on the Sabres. They have a ways to go, talent wise, and there wasn't an easy fix this year in free agency. Unfortunately for Sabres fans, you'll be dealing with Crosby, Malkin, Fluery, Ovechkin, Philly and Boston's talent laden roster for quite some time. It's not going to be easy to TP. However, at least you know he's going to try.
  10. Like today when I turned off the Bills game at the end of the 3rd and luckily turned it over to the Denver game. Good story, that Tebow fella. Turned back briefly once, to the Bills game.
  11. Exactly correct. And the more and more you see, hear players speak, listen to the subtle clues of the media, watch home games being sold, seeing productive players leave, seeing the team with oodles of cap room, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, the more it makes things harder to swallow. Ole car salesman Russ will be losing gobs of season tickets again next year. Might they dip into the 20,000's??? What a shame.
  12. And there also wasn't really a quick fix yet for the Sabres that was available. The Sabres have a ways to go to catch teams like Pittsburgh and Boston and such. And the free agent market isn't strong enough yet to do that. Pegula is, at the very least, trying. There is no comparison between Pegula and Ralph. None. And Ralph is on the losing end.
  13. Mr. Pegula, Please save us. Please. Yours in fandom, Lv-Bills Section 135, Row 17
  14. Man, we can only pray he gets involved with the Bills. Please Terry. Please, please, please. I can't even imagine what it would be like to have an owner that wants to win and will put forth the energy and resources necessary to do so. Please god.
  15. So very true. Works both ways too, that's the beauty of it. The Bills and their homers need to stop thinking that they "deserve" anything too. Kind of like when only about 40,000 fans will be at the Miami game, and probably about 20,000 will be at the Denver game (and most of those will most likely be Candian Tebow fans). As a longtime season ticket holder, I feel that the value of my season tickets has hit rock bottom. While the first few home games were awesome this year, I would glady take an ugly, horribly played, MEANINGFUL game in the last quarter of the season just one friggin time over the New England game any day.
  16. They have been sellouts because you are allowed to declare games soldout if you sell all of your non-premium seats. The Bills have not "completely" soldout a game this year. There have been many club seats available for each home game as well as suite tickets in the endzone clubs. The Bills have had a couple of thousand non-premium seats available and unsold for each home game this year. The same thing is happening in Washington with the Skins.
  17. Correct. Not to mention that the Bills are 9th from the bottom in PCT, and that will no doubt start to decline heavily over the last three home games. They will finish near the bottom of the league.
  18. The best cornerback in the NFL is a legit pass rushing DE/OLB. Until we get that, it doesn't matter who is out at CB.
  19. What's amazing to me is that the game seemed like it was one of the worst QB'ed games in NFL history (on both sides), but look how long everyone in the country stayed with it last night. Everyone I talked to today watched it. And judging by a lot of social media, the whole country was watching. Cool stuff.
