  1. With all of the battles going on for spots and so much competition, it should be fun. I'm thinking Losman and Holcomb get most of the playing time every game, and then even Nall will get some when he gets back. So, we see three guys (mainly 2) that are battling for the #1 job play throughout the game to hold our interest. Then, coupled with the QB, you have our stable of about 400 WR's. Evans and Price work first. But seriously, it should be cool to see the rest of them work throughout the game with any of the QB's. Parrish, Reed, Davis, Nance, and Smith etc..... There are enough of them to be playing almost the whole game. Then, it's Gates vs. Davis. Ricard vs. Shelton. Then on the O-line, you'll see Gibson, Preston, and all the other guys. With so much of the talent on the team being mediocre, and with so much of it not separating from each other, we should have good football to watch throughout most of every game. If you are sick, and like to bet like I do, I'm thinking the Bills could be a good bet in pre-season. They should have mediocre vets playing most of the games, making them way better than their opponents in the 2nd half. Should be a fun pre-season to watch. The depth may not have any stars in it, but it's medicore and it's deep. Should be interesting.
  2. I did the same thing, and someone corrected me. That's the only reason I knew.
  3. Evans is only on one of the tickets. The other one is Andre Reed, signifying that day as the Andre Reed Wall of Fame ceremony.
  4. I remember it well, the printing owner was PISSED OFF that his guys didn't catch the mistake. But at the same time, the Buffalo Bills are known throughout the sports industry as having one of the worst ticket offices in sports. At least they were. Their ticketing system was horrible. Customer service was always rated very low and their organizational skills in that department were severely lacking. So, if that still holds true, I can see the Bills as the culprits here. They seem to get later and later every year on their ticket deliveries. If I had to bet, I would say the Bills are to blame for ineptness on this one.
  5. Confirmed, UPS man just came. The bird has just landed. The bird has just landed. Or, ummm, well, at least my fiance just told me so.
  6. Ummmmm, I don't doubt you on what you say.....however, I worked for the Atlanta Braves, and in 1998, the printer messed up the season tickets with a seating misprint that showed up on every ticket. They had to be re-done. I know that first hand as the asst season ticket coordinator. While there are a lot of pro orgs that don't have their sh-- together, there are also a ton of boobs working, especially in the artwork dept, for printing companies as well.
  7. My tracking number is actually working perfectly. It has showed my progress of tickets from Manitoba Canada, through Kansas City to Richmond Virginia. They should be at my house when I get home today. They are scheduled to arrive today! WOOHOO.
  8. Everyone knows this deep down in. We have a 50/50 chance of having a #1 in Evans. The rest of them are a bunch of 3's, 4's and 5's. Our WR's may surprise us and be decent............but they also are about the same distance away from being the worst corps in the league.
  9. It will update as the tickets check in to different UPS centers. For instance, here in Virginia, I'll be able to watch my tickets make all the UPS stops til it finally gets here. You see updates as they check in to different places on the way to your house.
  10. Actually, to answer your replithentic questions, instead of this guy's version.... Replithentics are between the authentics and the replica's. They are actually really nice jerseys. All numbers and names are sewn on. Stripes around the sleeves are printed. There is also a tag on the front with the player's name and a throwback jersey label. They had originally done them for Kelly, Thomas, Reed and Tasker. Kelly and Thomas sold out. Reed and Tasker are left. I bought one of each for framing in my gameroom. Very nice jerseys. If you can afford one, I would highly recommend it as it is a great alternative to the authentic, which is ridiculously overpriced.
  11. Take a walk a few blocks from the Harbor into Little Italy and pick almost any restaurant there which appears dimly lit inside. You won't be disappointed. Just have someone point you to little Italy. I did the last time the Bills played there, and I loved it.
  12. AMEN. This is why I was all pissed off about WGR the first day of camp. Sirius has been OUTSTANDING today at Bills camp. That interview with Dick Jauron was a great listen. They didn't ask a damn thing that WGR couldn't have done the first day of camp, while kind of previewing the Bills. Great questions, great lead-ins, and pretty informative. Can't wait to hear some more Bills players. They are on til 1 pm I believe. Great radio.
  13. 0 for 2 for WGR this morning. Earning that second rate reputation that they have. Hey, at least they are steady. They pretty much always suck.
  14. All kinds of early news today missed by the Sabres Hockey Network. Imagine the pain of the hosts this morning having to actually talk about practice for a minute and see that Crowell was out there instead of Jeff Posey. Wow, two major stories that were missed. But hey, "Lets break a minute for station identification, this is the Sabres hockey network"
  15. WOOHOO...............Imagine that......something else that WGR missed this AM. NICE! A coaching staff with some NUTS. Great news on day 1.
  16. Checking ESPN now to see where we are with Whitner. Hell Connor Byrne may even break Whitner since GR is so busy with the Sabres.
  17. Yeah, I'm thinking that a good radio station, that would have interviewed a Bills official this AM anytime before 10:00 am, probably would have gotten some information that McCargo was about ready to put his sig on the dotted line. My gut feeling is that Marv probably knew today when he got out of bed that all McCargo had to do was sign because everything was agreed to. Wouldn't know until you actually cover the Bills. When you have a show on the first day of training camp like they had today, you understand why no one knew just how close were to getting McCargo here this morning. WGR blew it. They could have been to first to get something out of the horses mouth, instead choosing to bombard everyone with wall to wall Sabres on the first day of camp. Pathetic. They really should set up at HSBC tomorrow. The Sabres are hot, ride em all summer. They can just give Bills phone updates from HSBC.
  18. Did you notice enough to see if Crowell is in TKO's spot on defense or did they even get that far this am? I'd love to see him move over to where Posey is, and see Posey play end. Or at least try.
  19. And BOOM, McCargo signs this morning, and we talk about the SABRES. Yeah, nothing to break on WGR this morning. Maybe Marv could have provided some insight. But hey, the 4 callers in that last hour that pummeled the phone lines about the Sabres really was insightful. Thanks ESPN I guess, for letting us know that McCargo signed. After all, if the two WGR stooges would have made some phone calls to ANYONE today about the Bills, maybe they would have broke it on air. Another missed opportunity from a crappy sports station.
  20. Yeah, cuz I'm sure Marv has nothing to say to anyone regarding the Bills. Maybe, now that we know McCargo has signed.....that Marv could have said something about that this AM? I mean, maybe just a little hint that McCargo just could be on his way to SJF? Ahhhhh, it wouldn't have been newsworthy. Marv would have added zilch to today's show. Well, at least when two dopes are running the show, I guess you would be right.
  21. WOW, WGR didn't break this? Imagine that. McCargo was that close, but not a peep about that this AM. WOOHOO. One to go!
  22. See, this is what strikes me as kind of weird. In almost every other NFL city, teams unpacking and strectching, and obviously doing stuff as witnessed by some pictures here = news. Unsigned draft picks, missing practice = news. Team officials, especially legends, walking around the facility (Levy) = news to be shared if you can just get him on the radio for 3 mintues. Oh, I don't know, I wouldn't mind hearing what Andre Davis, Price, Reed, or Parrish think their chances are in making this team since we have about 400 WR's on the roster. Ohhhhh, I don't know, maybe hearing a little bit from JP's mouth about how he feels about being at camp. But hey, the Sabres signed two guys. The Bills are missing two guys that need to be signed because practice starts TODAY. I'm not sure how GR works, but the hosts seemed to talk a ton today. Either callers were on hold for about 45 minutes at a time, or there is marginal interest at best. First day of camp for which they are LIVE and mostly Sabres talk < RJ.
  23. I understand this completely. I'm happy for you guys that the Sabes made everyone happy. However, for this so called huge hockey city to have 266 visitors over there when the Sabres have a presser called for what has been said to be the biggest sports story this season (the uniform issue - which by the way I think is way cool they went back), and still 206 over on the Bills side, just shows that the NFL is still the main show for the most part. You would think there would be about 1000 over there, and 3 over here. I'm sure there are other Sabres boards, better one's and all of that.....however, it's the first day of camp, and plenty of people to interview and find out about. It should have been better radio today! Period. I understand the non-excitement about the Bills to some degree, and all of that, but this is the first day. The show just lacked IMO, today.....big time. And that kind of sucks, especially when it appeared the hosts are lazy as hell in trying to put together something exciting today.
  24. AWESOME - thanks. You should start a radio station up there!
