  1. Eric Moulds looked last night for Houston? I mean, I liked EM myself, although I think most Bills fans tend to think he was a little better than he actually was. However, he was sickly last night. He looks a bit pudgy, and had no burst whatsoever. On a deep ball down the sidelines, Carr actually made a great throw down the sidelines, but EM had no juice to hit a second gear to catch it. EM was a solid player on some bad teams, however I think it was a great move to let him go. I actually think the Bills won't miss him at all. Here's hoping EM serves as a solid #2 down in Houston, but I'm not sure how much he's going to help them. It really seemed he has lost a step. At least, according to last nights game it did.
  2. Anyone.......someone found a net feed last week......anyone have another?
  3. What a perfect way to describe DJ. Post of the Year!!!! So simple, so true! Bravo
  4. They looked pretty good to me last night. Culpepper gives them instant credibility at the QB spot. McMichael and Chambers are going to be a nightmare for people to handle this season. The thing that is funny to me is how everyone is over-rating the Dolphins running game. Ronnie Brown and an unimpressive O-line will mean that they shouldn't dominate on the ground too much. However, Culpepper and their pass catching weapons will help offset that. With that being said, the Dolphins will win the AFC East this season and lose their playoff game because the lack of a dominant running game. The Patriots reign in the AFC East ends this season, I just wish it was us instead of Miami.
  5. Calling all homers, calling all homers..... LMAO.......can someone please try to defend this pick again vs. not taking McKinnie! But but McKinnie....but but McKinnie....but but McKinnie Thank God Whitey is outta here.
  6. I think it's four. It could have been 5. I didn't have time to look it up. Pisses me off though when Thurman gets dissed like that. Thurman was not only a great runner and receiver......I'm not sure there was a better back at picking up the blitz in the modern football era. Damn the Bills for not winning ONE fuggin superbowl. Oh well though. Thurman was an awesome, all around back. He also made the Bills a great team for a lot longer of a period than did Marshall Faulk. Period.
  7. Done deal. I admit, I didn't even hear the show. LOL But I chimed in. I did this in a hurry, so I didnt' even proof what I could say......however, here it is. They'll get the point. To not even mention Thurman Thomas OR Roger Craig, shows he's a moron. My email...... I have to laugh at how stupid you sounded this morning on your show. Uninformed isn't even the word to describe your rants as you described Marshall Faulk. Have you ever heard of Thurman Thomas? Thurman lead the league in yards from scrimmage 4 years in a row. Thurman was a back who could change a football game with his running or catching. He was also probably one of the best blocking halfbacks in the history of pro football. His blitz pickup skills were second to none. As a team than was the second most dominant in pro football in a ten year span, Thurman Thomas was the main cog in that K-gun offense. He did everything well. To not mention Thurman or even Roger Craig, you sounded like an idiot this morning
  8. LOL. I don't understand how it's so hard for Bills fans to realize that Losman has looked like total garbage for his short lived career so far. We all have hopes that he'll improve, but c'mon, this observation shouldn't shock anyone. Here's hoping JP can prove em all wrong, but if everyone didn't have some serious doubts, well, let's just say you'd be up for homer of the year. We'll all find out this year. No way Holcomb sees the field that much this season. At least, barring injury.
  9. I stated this before. He'll be another MAC receiver that will be cut. Maybe, just maybe, he'll get a practice squad invite. However, Nance wasn't even the best WR in the MAC. Dante Ridgeway from Ball State was. Ridgeway had 90 plus catches and then over 100 catches for Ball State his last two seasons there. Ball State was a brutal team. Ridgeway went in the draft, and was soon cut by Saint Louis, and then by the Jets. MAC WR's do not make it in the NFL. They are usually second tier wideouts that play in a passing league such as the MAC which has had a run of very good QB's (Pennington, Leftwich, Culpepper (at the time CFU was a MAC School, Big Ben, Josh Harris, Omar Jacobs, Gradkowski and more. The only MAC WR to ever make some noise is obviously Randy Moss. There have been several others, that have been terrific in college, including Ridgeway, who was a Biletnikoff finalist, who never even really sniffed the NFL field. Nance is a pretender. He's a TBD wet dream created by people who know little about the personnel in Mid American Conference. Let's hope he's a diamond in the rough and can develop on the practice squad. We'll see. Right now, he's another great MAC WR, and one that isn't talented enogh to see the field in the NFL.
  10. I can't believe I'm even defending RJ. But seriously, why just make stuff up about him? He looked good. Even the guys in the booth last night were commenting about how good he looked. He got sacked once. Not two or three times. Once. He threw some really good balls downfield, not dumpoffs. They included passes of 11, 13, 14, and 11 again. He went 3 for 5 on 3rd and 4th down conversions to keep drives going. On the drive that stalled, the Chiefs stuffed a dive running play up the middle. I'm no RJ fan, but he looked pretty damn good last night for a QB that has been off for a year or so that he hasn't played. Dare I say he looked better than any Bills QB to this point so far. He also looked more in control of himself than he looked when he ran the Bills offense. He played pretty well. If he keeps that up, he'll be more than a capable backup to Eli Manning. If he ends their 3rd stringer, he'll be wasting away as the best 3rd stringer in the NFL. I was surprised last night. He played well.
  11. He actually looked really good. He looked very poised. He left the pocket a couple of times and found WR's. He also left the pocket a time or two and actually threw the ball away to avoid being sacked. He had some zip on his ball. He also was pretty accurate. He actually looked good. Very poised and under control. I hated him when he was here. But for some odd reason, I also was rooting for him to do well last night. I have no idea why. I think he looked real good last night. I actually want to watch him again in the G-Men's next game. We'll see. Based on last night, I think he sticks easily.
  12. This should be the last test game, IMO. Give JP the start and let him go with the starters for all drives starting in the first quarter. Since everyone knows what Holcomb brings to the table, let him sit this game. He's not going to do anything the coaching staff already doesn't know about him. Nall should get three quarters in his only and final audition. His injury is unfortunate, but he's the only unknown at this point. It's make or break for him. If he bombs, it's JP's team for the majority of snaps the last two games, and then Nall and KH fight it out for the backup spot. That's how I'd approach this game. This would be my last audition. And I'd find out if Nall is worthy to even be mentioned in the same breath as an NFL starter.
  13. Ummmmm, nice call. Nailed this one right before Williams was actually named as supplanting Anderson. You da man!
  14. Deep down in, we all know this team sucks. Everyone in this room can be as optimistic as they want to be, but nobody in their right mind would put any money on the Bills to do anything this season. I, personally, was so sick of the TD era, that I'm willing to watch this current bunch of castoffs hopefully get better. I'd rather go 3-13 as long as this team improves and its younger players develop than watch the trash that has taken the field the last 5 or 6 years get worse as the season goes on. This season will be a season where we will develop some younger players, and some future depth when we actually become a contender again. Count this season as 20 pre-season games for next year. As long as our corps of younger players develop and we find a surprise player or two, we can deem it a success.
  15. to get three sacks in his next pre-season game ala Matthew Rice?
  16. Good comparison. Maybe we'll bust out the throwbacks from that year? Was that 97 or 98 or something?
  17. for the NY Giants? I forgot to look for that one. Was ole RJ out there in the 4th quarter? Is he hurt already? They have 4 QB's listed on their roster. How did ole RJ do? Pre-Season > RJ ??? Anyone know?
  18. Speaking of this..............at least our QB's graded slightly better than former Bills QB Todd Collins, who looks just as bad as KH and JP, but was also scared as hell in there last night.
  19. Kind of says something about the first two QB's on your roster when the third stringer that no one knows how to spell his name gets so much ink and breaking press coverage.
  20. New QB McNall in town? According to the D and C there is.
