  1. Oh, this must also be a result of global warming.
  2. He is listed as a TE/WR in Yahoo's fantasy league. Since he was projected at either at the beginning of the year, Yahoo kept him like that. I don't believe anyone drafted Colston, so when he had a decent first week, everyone started picking him up off of waivers and he's the top rated TE in Yahoo's league. A guy without an original position I guess. I lucked into getting him because I had Leonard Pope and just saw that this guy named Colston had a decent first week at TE so I picked him up. Others, I would imagine started picking him up in Week 3.
  3. 12 team league...... QB - Palmer RB - Rudi Johnson RB - Caddy or Ahman Green WR - Steve Smith WR - Lee Evans WR - TO or Chris Chambers TE - Marques Colston (Yahoo League) Acquired Week 2 from waivers. K - Nate Kaeding DEF - Denver D - Terrence McGee (Return Yards also count) I'm fuggin 1-4, 10th place, but 6th in total points. So frustrated with all that talent and no one is producing. Christ.
  4. THey are mopping up the Vikings, Texans and Eagles cheerleaders, and have won every event so far........going 3-3 and clinching a spot in the next round. Hey, I'll take it, we gotta start somewhere. Go Jills.......although they are the ugliest team of the 4 competing today. Just win baby!
  5. Well yeah, that and Lee Evans still tallied up some pretty damn good fantasy points! Lee is becoming a very steady fantasy WR. Now, if he would just hit the endzone a tad more.
  6. Awesome Video. Great Job, hope there are more to come!
  7. Joe Ferguson during the pre-game stuff? I'm 34 yrs old, and grew up in Pittsburgh. I've had season tix for 6 years now and have been going to Bills games since the early 90's. I went to a few in the 80's with my parents. Growing up, I loved Fergy. I could hardly wait to get trading cards to see if I landed a Fergy card. Not seeing him play much but knowing he was the Bills QB made him my hero as a kid. I have a signed Joe F throwback helmet. So, for the first time, I saw Fergy in person at the Ralph on Sunday. Even though it wasn't Fergy playing, it gave me goose bumps. Here's hoping Joe's illness is long gone, and he goes on to be another great Bills alum. As an adult, I was giddy on Sunday. Loved every minute of it.
  8. Yeah dead serious. He does one thing above average.....when he wants to.....and that's run hard. He blocks about as bad as you can get. He is also a lazy route runner. So far, in his NFL career, when you combine those traits, with a 10 cent brain, well, you start to wonder if this is the guy. I'd rather use the Broncos approach and build a powerful line, and find RB's who can hit holes. Just me though.
  9. Seems to happen to Willis every week. Thurman Thomas needs to hold a camp in Orchard Park and teach Willis the importance of playing his position fully.
  10. I just returned home from the game. He's above average.....barely at this point. His blocking is pathetic. His route running is about on par. And I'm gonna tell everyone this,.......the offensive line was terrific in run blocking on Sunday. The holes he had were huge. Kudos to the guys up front for most of the game outside of the red zone. But I don't give a damn if Willis gets 300 yards. It basically got us zero points, and he got our QB killed. He's done this now for the entire season. He's not a complete back. Not even close. Anyone would have had a big game Sunday running through those holes. Did he run hard. Yes, no doubt. Do most #1 backs in the NFL run hard? Yes. Is he a complete back that makes a difference yet? Not even close.
  11. I'll take a crack at being a negative spin on this. How many negative yards is it worth when he whiffs on a block that gets his QB blindsided and a TD results for the other team? He'll never be a complete back. Never.
  12. I didn't know there was a remake. But, I mean, how can it compare to the old one? They shouldn't even bother. Just re-release the first one. Warriors Linkage
  13. LOL Loved that movie. Just came across a trailer from the 1979 flick. How funny is that.
  14. This game will be at least 35-0 by halftime. Take Auburn.
  15. This kind of matchup has nothing to do with guts. UB will be compensated far greater than anything else that could bring them this much money, probably even including a home game. This is common practice. UB just happens to be scraping the bottom of the barrel when it comes to D-1, so this score will be a little more noticeable than say Northern Illinois being able to hang around with Ohio State.
  16. Just wondering who will be making the drive up from the Mid-Atlantic region this weekend. I'm leaving Friday from Richmond Virginia. Car decorated with the charging buffalo in the back windshield and my LV-Bills license plate. Anyone else making the drive from VA, NC, SC or anywhere else down here?
  17. last year. Seriously, and the adjectives to fit this team so far are alot more of Buffalo fans can relate to... Hardworking Well Coached Overachieving Underdogs Improving It's been great............thanks for mercifully ending the TD era. This has been money already better spent than last year, and we're only two games in. Can't wait to trek up to the Ralph this weekend. Bye Bye TD........Bye Bye Dreariness Let the Ralph rock this Sunday!
  18. Awesome..... Gotta love the Houston Oilers song......I can see all those Luv U Blue signs waiving now..... Get a load of that San Diego song.....Disco Fever!!! LMAO
  19. I did not know that.....but did you know.... That Cookie Gilchrist amassed a then pro-record 243 rushing yards in the Bills 45-14 rout of the Jets in 1963. His five TD's that day still stands as a club record.
  20. Lot of places have it as Oakland getting 13 already.
  21. Could be wisodom tooth surgery or something. If he maybe just had all four of them pulled, I could see him being pretty sore to take hits on Sunday. But yes, very odd.
  22. Gonad Gonad Bones abound, Triad Triad I found; Beckon Beckon Wheat
  23. Awesome. The only thing better than this news would have been Troy Vincent on the waiver wire. He's been afraid to hit for about 4 years now. Let the youngins step on in. Troy can now start his career in taking over for Gene Upshaw.
  24. He could have dove out of the endzone with some quicker thinking. That being said, we all saw improvement in JP yesterday. I think his grade for the game would have been an A. He had some zip on his passes, and was accurate. He was in command of the offense and made some key throws. He has definately improved, and showed promise yesterday that can give us all a hope that he has a chance to be our future. Hats off for a pretty good game by JP. He also should have known where he was and dove out to the 1/2 yard line. Calling for Holcomb at this point would be moronic by anyone. Holcomb should be released and Nall should be the #2.
