  1. Did you miss breakfast or something this morning? Maybe I should have titled the post.......I AM GLAD I'M NOT A RAIDERS FAN. Would that suit you better? Well lets see here............let's just take a look.......... Their owner is a goofball. They have no GM. Their head coach, last night, had a penalty explained to him by their center Jake Grove, because Art Shell didn't understand the call. Their OC ran a bed and breakfast last season, and was clueless on making ANY adjustments last night. Randy Moss has totally given up. Jerry Porter is a malcontent and pouted on the bench most of the night. Their offensive line is about 3 steps below the Bills and Arizona Cardinals. They rarely sell out their home games in a smallish stadium, nonetheless. Should I go on? Or is that enough? They are a complete mess. So, yeah, it makes me feel a bit better that we aren't them. Just a little positive to make fun of someone else, who is clearly worse off than us, to make us feel a little better about ourselves. Lighten up Francis.
  2. I think we can all agree. The Raiders are a fuggin mess. From the top down in that organization, they are a mess. WOW. What a circus it is in Oakland. That was comical watching those clowns last night.
  3. Awesome man. If I'm reading this post correctly, this is your first Bills game at RWS. How awesome. You'll finally get to walk into a stadium where almost everyone is rooting for your favorite team. I can say.....it's a moment you'll never forget if you are from out of town. Have a great time!
  4. I agree with alot of this......BUT...... You rarely see fights in the stands? Who are you trying to kid? Actually, this year has been pretty good, but in the past few years....especially when the Bills are out of playoff contention, the fights in the stands, especially the scorebaord endzone happen about 4-5 per quarter sometimes. There are always fights in the stands......anyone who goes to games knows this.
  5. Me either, but let's not act naive and say that it couldn't happen. Walking to the stadium around Pinto Kenny's we were behind 5 Patriots fans and they were taking some verbal insults all along that little service road. No big deal, really. Then, comes some charging, drunk, moron, who decided to throw his mostly full beer can at the pack of Pats fans, and hit a 30 something lady in the back of the head. The 3 dudes turned and saw like 30 or so Bills fans laughing and couldnt' really do much. Thankfully, when the lady starting bleeding, another Bills fan went up to that dude who threw the can and punched him in the back of head. HARD. The drunk went down. The man who hit the drunk was the drunks brother, and came up and tried to help the Pats' fan....but they went up toward the stadium pretty pissed. Don't know what happened from there, but at least the drunk was decked by a Bills fan. Idiots.
  6. WOW. Unbelievable. That's just disgusting. Period.
  7. Well, it's just me but Evans and Peters still have upside. Peters could be a dominant LT. Evans, IMO, would be an outstanding 1B. We need a tall, 1A WR to be a championship team. Willis doens't posess anything that I don't think we could find in the latter part of a draft. He doesn't have speed. He lack elusiveness, and he lacks big play ability. Evans has all of those. Peters can become dominant because he is still getting better. IMO, those are the guys you keep. Add a WR to Evans and a tackle with Peters skills, and now you are starting to have something. Those players will make it easier for ANY RB to run. Willis is a player that has skills that are replaceable and easy to find. They get even easier to find with a good offensive line. ALA, Leon Washington of the NY Jets, or the Denver Bronco's RB's over the last 7 years. Evans and Peters have skills that are hard to find. Evans might be replaceable, but you need two stud wideouts in today's game, AND a solid #3 to win a championship. Evans will be needed eventually. And with another player of his caliber, an offense would be almost impossible to stop.....ala the Bengals, when healthy, and the Colts, Rams, etc. If Willis is overvalued, which I think he only is overvalued with Bills fans, trade him NOW, and start putting together the pieces to a real football team, and add the RB last.......as icing on the cake.
  8. Here's my premise....... It really has nothing to do with Willis. A good football mind would realize that running backs are a dime a dozen. A good football mind, albeit thinking on a championship level, would also realize that they could sell Willis now, while his stock is high and grab two players....whether they are draft picks or NFL ready players. If you trade Willis to the right organization, he'll suck forever, because he really can't make plays on his own. So, if you can get an AFC to mortgage or kill cap space by trading for him, Willis will stay mediocre at best. You, on the other hand, will be getting cap room and/or players and draft picks. You don't trade guys like Jason Peters, Lee Evans etc, but Willis......hell yes, ship his ass off, and start building the team by dealing mediocrity for multiple players. Willis MIGHT be our best player...........although, just because he is, doesn't make him a stud. The Kansas City Royals, and Pittsburgh Pirates have their "best" players also.....doesn't make them worth keeping.
  9. Wasn't really gonna say he's horrible. I was just gonna talk a little bit about Tatum Bell. You know, the back who wasn't even the starter for a few games with a terrific burst and cutback ability. Not to mention, I would even bet he's carried the ball significantly less than the rushers behind him, particularly the #2 back, in YARDS. It's nice to see a running back able to take it to the house when the opportunity presents itself. And I'm pretty sure it has presented itself a time or two here in Buffalo, I just can't remember when. Some orginizations make wise decisions and would sell high. Some don't. RB's are a dime a dozen. RB's without any speed or good lateral movement are in that dozen. Teams like the Patriots would move on and sell high, while everyone's perception is skewed. I.E. Lawyer Milloy, Deion Branch, David Givens (Remember him?), Damien Woody.....and the list goes on and on and on. It's amazing, the Pats either win the division or make it to the Super Bowl every year. Yet, every year they have two first round draft picks somehow. Willis McGahee would be a prime example of the type of player that an organization, like New England, would sell high. And then all of the ESPN lemmings would sit there and scratch their heads again at how NE wins every year. Meanwhile Willis would be in Detroit or somewhere else, with 1100 yards on 774 carries, with a long run of 22 yards on the year.
  10. The facts from the original post.
  11. No kidding man. All you have to do is go to the games in person, and people start to see it plain as day. While our O-Line isn't the greatest, when they do block, which they have on occasion, Willis does little to make them look better, also. Add to that, that his pass blocking is sub-par, and that he is one of the dumbest human beings on Earth, and you have......well..... You have Willis. The Kansas City Royals have a decent player or two on their baseball team. Doesn't mean they are good enough to build a team around. The Buffalo Bills have a decent player or two.....well, you get the idea.
  12. Agreed. I'm not sure why I locked on to this.....but I saw Pennington standing next to Peters on Sunday at the game during the national anthem. He kind of dwarfs Peters. He is worth a shot. If he can move at all, DE's should have a hard time going through or around him. He is one huge man. CV sucks though. I can't wait until he is replaced. Merz seemed to do a pretty good job in there. Seemed is the key word, as I really don't know. We might have something here.......but the other way wasn't work. GET IT DONE TP......GET IT DONE BIG FELLA.
  13. Oh so now, let's just get rid of everyone huh? Is that what I meant? Or would I have drafted a couple of lineman similar to the Jets and found me a Leon Washington? Running Backs, outside of the very few elite (Barber, Tomlinson, and Johnson) are a dime a dozen behind a solid line. When you've got an average guy like McGahee, a good GM would sell high. Of course, that takes Belicheck like courage, which we don't have. I'm fearful of the Jets in the future. If the young O-Line guys that they drafted prove to have durability, they are going to not only get better over the next few years, but they are going to turn dominant. Us on the other hand.......Well, we have a revolving door on the offensive side, and a rotation of Canadian League type Defensive Lineman on that side. But hey, we have depth.....they might all suck.....but at least we have 500 of them........along with the slowest starting RB in the NFL. But hey the NFL said Willis is a star, so he must be. After all, he can sing and dance to "NFL Replay". Yeah, that's what we need.
  14. Yeah, how absurd of some of us to actually think that we could find almost any back to be productive behind a Bills team that would use Willis' type money on an offensive lineman or two. I mean how tough could it be to find a running back with little speed who could average 3 plus yards a carry? I, myself, would use the Bronco's approach and find my RB last. That is, FIND SOME O-LINE first, add a mediocre back second. Hear's hoping Drew Rosen-dick holds out Willis. We finally trade him, and use some money on an o-line. And then go out and get someone like Michael Turner and turn him into a productive #1, ala, Chester Taylor. That's absurd though.
  15. I hope you are right. But catching them at a good time? LMAO. The best coach in the league after a bye week? Time for them to acclimate Gabriel into their offense? Time for them to heal up some? How the hell is playing New England after a bye week a good time?
  16. Who are you talking about.............the Saints? Oh now, that shoots this out of the water. While we are rebuilding, and I'm OK with it personally, it's ok for other people to have higher expectations than you. I personally think that Marv's big year is next year. We'll see what happens in the draft, FA period, etc. I can say that I like this team a hell of a lot better than last years deadbeats though. But to act like football is brain surgery, and a turnaround can't be done in a year is idiotic. Hell, the Jets even look pretty good. Saints. Vikings. Rams, etc. There are just as many teams who started over, that turned it around quickly as who look bad.
  17. you mean nobody was pissing in the sink? That's a minor miracle in itself. Every game I go to, there are already like 10 dudes pissing in the sink. Then, some douchebag usually comes dressed in a sweater, all cute and proper and washes his hands in the piss collector. LOL, oh well.
  18. Ever give the sink a try? You gotta watch out for the cross spray.
  19. Rounded up, I exploded this week.... Palmer 21 Owens 23 Evans 9 Smith 31 Caddy 11 Rudi 5 Colston 11 Kaeding 13 Denver Defense 20 Terrence McGee 14 I defeated my opponent 156.84 to 85.13 Next Week, TO will pout, Smith will get hurt again, and I'll have about 77 pts. lol Oh well, it's fun nonetheless.
  20. Well, I actually made some trades to get all of these guys. I traded away the number #1 overall and acquired extra picks. So, alot of these guys weren't drafted, but nonetheless, this is what I've had for 4 weeks now. Similar team the first two weeks also. I've exploded in both of my wins, but the other games were ho-hum. Oh well, we'll see how she plays out from here on in I guess.
  21. LOL.....a buzzsaw? Electric? I think maybe 15 or 20 people actually got out of their seats all game. Electric? Hardly. Oh, and go Tigers!
  22. LOL. Gotta laugh at this post. With Smith finally 100%, and Caddy getting some QB play............this team EXPLODED this week. The WR's got off. Caddy lost his 100 yard bonus on his last carry of the game when he lost yards. And this is even with an off day from Palmer and Rudi. This is a loaded team. If the T.O. temper tantrums stay away (which they won't), and the Bills playing from behind a bunch, I should be right near the top at the end. The WR's are actually a strength. I just need Caddy to stay in nice form and I'll be right there.
  23. Now, take that same team, give them back their #1 wide receiver, who is going to play, and take away some more health from the Bills best CB in Clements and I can easily show you where the glass might start spilling toward half empty again. This is a huge and telling game for just where the Bills stand at this point. A game they should win, can seperate them from the bottom feeders of the league and into the middle of the NFL. Then come the Pats to our house. God, don't mess this up!
