  1. Well see, here's your problem.....you shouldn't act like you are thinking for most of us. Most of us realize that WM is very replaceable. And we'd like to see his cap space or "supposed" trade value used on a line, in front of guy who actually plays hard like A-Train. 2 lineman, who are developing in front of a hard runner, would be much better than the cap space that someone like Mcgahee is going to eat up if the Bills re-up him.
  2. Thank You for a great post. Gore is a perfect example of another running back, on a terrible team, with a terrible line, but yet their running back produces without using excuses to explain his failures. Yet, we have Bills fans that think WM is a top ten back, when he hasn't even come close to playing as well as a Frank Gore or a Travis Henry. It's pretty plain to see to most people, especially outside of Buffalo. Apparently, from the newspaper article today, Ralph is starting to see it too.
  3. I can name ten that are better in about 3 seconds, and that any other GM in the league would take over McGahee anyday...... So, when does he start playing like a top ten back? I mean, there is absolutely ZERO evidence that he has ever been a top ten back. He's no where near the top ten in YPC, long runs, FD Conversions, nothing. That isn't counting his blocking or pass catching ability, which is VERY average. I mean, he can't even hold water to a guy like Travis Henry. And yes, WE ALL wanted Henry out of Buffalo. However, just because we got McGahee doesn't mean he's a stud. Henry is on a team as bad, if not far worse than the Bills, yet he is producing big time. But, there is of course an excuse for something like that. If Willis is a top ten back, Henry must be an all pro. And that's what we are debating. When you really get honest with yourselves.....McGahee is an average back. VERY average. WM isn't anywhere near a top ten back in this league. In fact, statwise, he's somewhere in the bottom of the 11-20 tier.
  4. I just can't believe that the 32nd ranked run defense in the NFL is shutting down Barber and Jones. I mean, Jones only has 22 carries for 79 yards. Wow. I guess stats aren't everything.
  5. Well, then in Willis' career.....if he's so good, and so valuable.....in his 40,000 or 50,000 carries, why can't he rip off a good run? And oh yeah, Jones just lost 2 yards on his last two carries. What exactly does that mean?
  6. Yeah about on track with exactly what A-Train did.
  7. Again, should we post Willis' numbers FROM HIS CAREER PERIOD? His long runs from scrimmage? His stats other than the 6 game run in 2004? What else do you need? No, wait, see, when people post Willis' stats......and they are very mediocre his WHOLE career.....there's always an excuse. Can't say he's a terrible blocker. Can't say he has no speed. Can't say he can't pick up first downs or not dance on 3rd and shorts........ Because, for Wilis..........there's always an excuse.
  8. It could have nothing to do with the fact that they've shut him down in those 9-10 carries does it?
  9. I didn't ask that. I just asked how the Colts 32nd ranked run defense is stopping the Cowboys today. After all, if Mcgahee was in there vs. the Colts, he apparently would have had a Lee Evans type WR game last week. Even though, there is no evidence to ever suggest he could do such a thing. Always an excuse.
  10. Also.............let's hear all of the WM knob slobbers tell me why Willis doesn't have a long run from scrimmage? EVER. I mean, all of you keep teliing me that WM is a stud. Studs can usually make plays on their own. Yet, year after year, WM is usually the worst running back in the league in terms of long runs from scrimmage. But hey, I'm sure there is an excuse for that too. He's one of the dumbest human beings on Earth. One of the worst blockers, but yet, he's a stud. Yeah OK. For the stat hogs.......maybe he's faced so many good run defenses, because those run defenses get their stats padded by facing McGahee? Could that not be the case too? After all, the only time Willis has played above average was that minute stretch of time 2 years ago, when the Bills went on their magical run against 6 high school teams, until the Steelers scrubs wrecked their plans. Give it rest already, with every week.....and every new RB that surfaces, the excuses are getting more and more far fetched.
  11. Again. Garbage. How's that 32nd ranked Colts run defense shutting down the Cowboys today? What's the excuse on that? WM is mediocre. Face it man.
  12. And then on top of this......see......when WIllis puts up these kinds of gaudy numbers.....like he has for about 3 years now......it's because...... The line blows.......JP blows.......People are hurt.....But But But, they are keying on Willis......... Save it.....the more teams play each week.....the more WM gets further exposed.
  13. And this says what? Let's see here, let me play along..... JP Losman sucks, but had a huge game today. Thus, he was better than Carson Palmer today. Losman > Palmer. Gimmie a Break
  14. Yeah, I'm just talking about making this season more tolerable though. The scenario, while not likely to happen, may not be so far fetched. JAX has a tendency to lay an egg vs. bad teams. Just maybe, we can somehow eek out a win......somehow......who knows. Then, it makes the SD game really fun. Even if we would lose, the Ralph will be jacked up for it's start, and a little more tolerable the week leading up to the game.
  15. Because most of think that if Willis is so valued aroudn the league.....which he isn't......he should be able to bring us some kind of nice compensation in return for trading him. Using that compensation, and handing the ball to A-train would make the Bills a much better team, than just having Willis back there running. Deep down in, everyone knows that WM stock is slipping.
  16. This is garbage. Seriously, how much more proof needs to be out there? Who the hell wouldn't play better with a better line? WHO? Will Anthony Thomas play worse should be Bills get a great line? McGahee is NOT a great back. He isn't even close. He's solid. Period. A-Train is solid. Period. Travis Henry plays on an absoulute garbage team, with a garbage line.....no QB......and no WR's, and still produces. He is more explosive than Willis. He runs tougher than Willis. I mean, week after week, guys prove on other teams that Willis is nothing more than a mediocre back. If his value is so high.....which I don't think it is anywhere else in the league, except with Buffalo fans.......trade his ass, get a high pick or picks, and go after a backup to A-train late in the draft. Use the high picks on lineman. I just don't understand the reason some Bills fans have to keep defending Willis' medicore play week after week. HE'S NOT THAT GOOD.
  17. An upset vs. Jax would would be awesome. That would pump some life into the Ralph when SD comes calling the next week. Man, I hope so.
  18. Oh, I'm right here. I like the A-Train just fine. He never loses yards. BTW, happen to catch Travis Henry's 70 yard TD run today? Bye Willis.
  19. It was not a broken play.....it was a snap. The snap was supposed to be in the air, not rolling, so don't even go there. It was a designed play. They even talked about the snap today on the NFL network on Sirius. I understand all of that about the lineman. Just pointing out, that while his version is far fetched, it is used to some degree, during normal game time. But I hear ya.
  20. In fairness to him, it worked like a charm for New Orleans yesterday. Direct snap to deuce, with a lineman playing TE. And although, WITH a QB.....it was working last night for the Giants in the first half when they used an extra lineman as their TE. They had to quit doing when Petigout got hurt.....but they basically lined up and said.....beat us.....and in the first half, it was working. Not saying I like it, just saying it worked.
  21. and his stats: 142 Carries / 586 Yards / 4 TD / 2 Runs of 20+ / 27 First Downs / Long of 30 and compare him to Willis (Self proclaimed best back in the game) 154 Carries / 579 Yards / 1 TD / 2 Runs of 20+ / 29 First Downs / Long of 32 WOW! And to think Henry is a throwaway player! Henry's team sucks, Willis' team sucks. Henry has no line. Willis has no line. Henry's QB is subpar. Willis' QB is subpar. Make all the excuses you want. Henry caught him. LOL Here's hoping Rosenhaus works in our favor and holds Willis out and we get picks for him. Come on Drew, be the asswipe we all know you can be. Maybe then, we can pick some lineman, and plug in any RB.
  22. Ummmm yeah, ok. On a serious note though.....I think the one great Bills win this season will come December 3rd vs. San Diego. Weather will be windy, and it's gonna eat up Phillip Rivers. San Diego will be kicking themselves when they leave the Ralph.
  23. Cool. I think this is the Buffalo - Tennessee game the year after the throwback. Sunday Night. If it is, this picture would have been taken about 5 minutes after the fuggin Titans announced their starting special teams unit. Then, we spanked that ass. It was one of the loudest regular season crowds I've heard at the Ralph. Great game!
  24. Or most likely he won't. And we'll keep watching all these other QB's with less starts than JP, outperform him too.
  25. Wow. Something weird here...... Take JP Losman and insert it everywhere you have Rashad Baker, and hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
