  1. Unreal. Can the city not do anything right? A real help to the Bills would be for Buffalo to get businesses like this up and running in the fuggin area. Bass Pro could then maybe buy a box or something, and some season tix. This won't help the Bills one bit. Shame on the Buffalo's inept gov't. I don't want to hear excuses, this should have been a done deal whenever Bass Pro showed interest. Just get em in there somehow.
  2. Yeah way too ahead. It's just nice being in the discussion. This year has already been a success if you ask me. We have a younger team, they've improved all year, and have managed to win games while being competitive in most of them. That's all I asked for as a season ticket holder. This season has been very entertaining. Remember last year at this time? Who could not appreciate where we are at this time?
  3. Dear Pu, I'd also like to thank the Dolphins for taking Mularkey and giving him a nice home where it's warm down there. That was sooooooooooooooo nice of you guys!
  4. Amen. I'm so bummed I probably wont be able to get to this one due to X-mas eve festivities. This whole week should be played on Saturday.
  5. Damn, I like this alot. Never thought of it. Anything to also get Shaud Williams off of the roster too. Great Idea! Fits all of Reed's strengths.
  6. I, for one, would cancel my season tickets if the Bills played two games in Toronto. I do think though, that the NFL should expand to five teams in each division, and I do feel Toronto should get a team. I think if Toronto had an NFL team, the rivalry would be something fierce with the Bills. I think that would be awesome. When you see countless college stadiums filled every Saturday across the nation, adding 8 more teams to the NFL would be simple. You could then fill every possible expansion city, and integrate Canada. To me, it just doesn't seem like 4 teams in a division, allow for a big enough race. Football is plenty popular enough to expand. There are also plenty of good QB's and other players around to not water down the product. Toronto would be high on my expansion list. Right after LA.
  7. Thanks to everyone. She must have mistakenly seen it wrong. She said she sees it correctly now. She wants to watch the game in VA, so she was kind of panicked.
  8. Can anyone confirm this, as I'm in Buffalo. And if it is, anyone call DTV and make sure they feed the game at 1 pm? Just checking.
  9. Friggin classic. Everytime I watch it I laugh. My fiance just sits here and is like..... "How many times are you gonna watch that?" LMAO - The intensity is second to none!
  10. No disrespect, but I could care less what time the blackout deadline is. If you don't have a ticket, oh well, listen to the damn thing on radio. I'll be up from Virginia. I can't wait. The last few games have been fantastic, and the stadium has been a "clean" kind of rowdy, despite the non-sellouts. All I ask for is that the Bills play an exciting brand of football, to make my season tickets worth it. They have done that this season.....especially the last three or so home games.
  11. This guy is still so fuggin classic........I love watching this clip......Just thought everyone could use seeing this guy again as we are about to go 7-7 soon. Enjoy the Intensity!
  12. 5,200 and counting. With a balmy day for December standards coming on Sunday, I say this one sells out easy.
  13. Yeah, probably, something a team like the Bills could actually afford. Again, for those who can't comprehend, everytime the NFL owners build these ultra rich cities a new stadium, IT PUSHES THE CAP UP EVEN MORE. Thus, if Buffalo's revenue streams are maxed out......they WILL NOT be able to compete. Bad deal for Buffalo. It's not hard to comprehend people. It really isn't. Trust what he's saying. He's not saying he's broke, but he is saying, the system is heading that way very fast.
  14. So hard to figure out isn't it? I can't believe the moronic mentality that other Bills fans can't comprehend about this. The only guy in the world who could take this franchise and keep it in Buffalo, while keeping it competitve with other NFL cities would be people like Bill Gates. At least, if the NFL keeps up this moronic type of financing. It'll be baseball in 15 years, and then no one will care anymore in about 20 of the 32 cities. They'll learn the hard way too.
  15. LMAO.....thanks! Not to mention his other references for Ralph to sell the team. Not spend money etc..... Yeah, his post was in full support of Ralph.
  16. Again, read. 7 million on his luxury boxes which is not shared by NFL owners, as compared to 50 million for the Jets and Giants. This new stadium gives the Jets and Giants a ton more money as revenues that will keep pushing the cap UP. It doesn't take a genius to know that if these revenue streams keep going up elsewhere and the Bills stay stagnant, along with their stagnant economy, the Bills will then fade away. Ralph is right. It's a bad deal for small markets. Doesn't mean he isn't rich. I'm sure he's making some money. He's not making nearly as much as other owners, however. And if this keeps happening, it will mean that markets like Buffalo will soon not be able to sustain NFL football, because eventually this way of economics will push poor cities out of the NFL.
  17. Jacksonville Schedule: Week 15 AT Tennessee Week 16 vs. New England Week 17 AT Kansas City That sounds kind of hard to me!!! BILLIEVE!
  18. Barrow Alaska. Furthest most northern town in America. Drugs, and all kinds of crime hit the town and their kids. So, their high school principal created a football team to give some of the kids some kind of positive activity. They have to fly every team in to Barrow to play. I think they said the closest team they are able to play is about 350 miles away. Budget to have the team is 200,000. Some in the town love it. The kids love it. Some also hate that they are spending that much money on it. The ground is frozen year round. They play on a field that is all mud with a lot of rocks. They played 6 games. They won one. After the win, they jumped in the Arctic Ocean. lol Pretty neat story. 44 kids joined the team. Good piece by Tom Rinaldi.
