I bet Steinbach does not make it out of one of these places without signing. Too bad. Jag's also signed Ravens Tackle Pashos. This whole years seems like too much money, too little talent. There is really nobody in FA to get too excited about. Browns | Steinbach to visit team Friday Thu, 1 Mar 2007 23:04:18 -0800 Tony Grossi, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, reports free agent OG Eric Steinbach (Bengals) will visit the Cleveland Browns Friday, March 2. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Buccaneers | Steinbach will visit team Saturday Thu, 1 Mar 2007 22:57:48 -0800 Jim Flynn, of PewterReport.com, reports free agent OG Eric Steinbach (Bengals) will visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Saturday, March 3. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________

pats fans concerned about bills?
Chicken Wing '73 replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the Pats have some major needs and are one injury (Brady or Seymour) from being a very mediocre team, and with Von Oelhoffen in the division you never know... The receivers can't catch. I love the close up's of Caldwell after he drops the ball. Looks like his eye's will pop out of his head. There rule will be over soon -
Didn't Olaf run the 40 in 4.2 at 350lbs?
-
They are usually not out until after the combine but Pro Football Weekly and The Sporting News are excellent. Even if the info gets outdated quick (ie Kwame Cavil the 5 th best receiver and does anyone remember Rufus French the top TE listed who never got drafted and was out of the league in a year or so?) but then again maybe too much is put on after the season workouts anyway and these magazines are published after all the games that counted were played. NFL draft countdown is my favorite pre-draft site.

Hopefully they don;t start Bowen ahead of Whitner and impede his development. i think Whitner will make the D better.

Still the best sign I ever saw at The Ralph
Chicken Wing '73 replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Best sign seen at a game...Back from one of the Sabres Stanley Cup games the camera man fanned to a sign that said "Mike Peca is bigger than your Peca", I don't think they read it before they put him on TV but it had me laughing. -
Here's most of the cuts from around the league.

Reggie McNeal released by the Bengals is interesting. Corey Chavous "self proclaimed draft expert" had him as the best QB in the draft (or was it overall player?) -
After I saw the cut list I still did not have everyone memorized. Was suprised when I went through and saw DiGiorgio and Powell.

Here are the remaining 53 QB Losman Nall Holcomb RB McGahee Thomas Williams FB Shelton TE Royal Everett Neufeld WR Evans Price Parrish Reed Davis Aiken OT Gandy Peters Butler Pennington OG Villarial Reyes Merz OC Fowler Preston DE Schoebel Denney Kelsay Powell DT Tripplett Anderson Williams McCargo LB Spikes Fletcher Crowell Haggans Stamer Ellison DiGiorgio CB Clements McGee Youboty Thomas Greer Safety Whitner Vincent Simpson Wire Bowen K Lindell P Moorman LS Schneck

Jeff Posey...oh wait I would be shocked to see any of the draft Picks cut. I don't think they are willing to admit they made a mistake on any of them jsut yet although Pennington & Merz have not shown a thing in the preseason games (although I have no access to game tape, maybe they are improving).

What time is the roster cut deadline?

Thanks! Gotta update my Madden roster! Seriously can't wait to see the final team for '07. -
What time is the roster cut deadline?

Anyone know? I can't find the time anywhere. -
You can't edit the players on the 360, not even the numbers. Quite dissapointing actually, that was always part of the fun of Madden. I created Whitner because they had him still at #36 and no helmet visor... I can't get him to run faster than a 5.8 in the 40 so he keeps ending up with a 17 rating (out of 100).

Troy Aikman is easily the best NFL analyst

Paul Maguire? -
Losman is the starter ...
Chicken Wing '73 replied to daquixers_is_back's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Holcomb looked rough. I know he played against the starting Carolina D but I can't imagine anyone looking worse than he did tonight. I think Nall with his blown hammy probably could have mustered 4 or so 3 and outs and a pick for a TD. -
The Positives out of tonights game....
Chicken Wing '73 replied to Chicken Wing '73's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Forgot that one. Thanks. I also noticed that I stated Losman hit Aiken on a bomb. Aiken got open and had two steps on the defender but Losman missed him. Guess I should try that proof read feature! -
I can name a bunch of things that went bad this game and that looked terrible but I decided to create a thread based on the postitives I saw tonight. Lindell looked good hitting two long ones. Lionel Gates showed strong and will probably be Willis' backup. Sam Aiken looked pretty good. He was wide open for a bomb Losman hit him on and he was getting open and running crisp routes all night. Also maintained his special teams reputation. I think we all wanted someone else to take his job away but he looked decent. I was impressed with Matt Bowen. Before he got hurt he was all over the field. He did get scored on with Delhommes TD pass. Run D looked strong overall. Jabari Greer looked pretty good. They kept trying to run WR screen's right at him and he kept answering with quick hits for no gain. Whitner got alot of reps and will only grow from the experience. Kyle Williams looked strong against the Panthers starters. This guy is going to be a fan favorite. Starting OL looked better as the game wore on (of course against lesser competition). Peters was way overmatched with Pepper's but who isn't? They should have given him more help. Keith Ellison was flying all over the field. This guy has some wheels. Josh Reed only dropped one ball. Ricard has some decent hands. Once he learns the blitz pick ups he can be a contributor. Losman looked rough at times but also showed flashes of taking this job and making it his. Some of his passes were rockets! Panthers star rookie Williams never got in a groove and was handled pretty well. Parrish is going to be fun to watch this year. He didn't get alot of opportunities this game but he is gonna make you stand up out of your seat whenever he touches the ball.

Anyone catch Winston Justice last night
Chicken Wing '73 posted a topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was playing LT for the Eagles 2nd team. I have to admit that I had my eye on Justice more than any other player because of how many discussions we had on him during draft time but he had a pretty bad night. His first anap he was in he had a holding penalty...he looked off balance and lazy... and he made Grant Irons look like Jevon Kearse going against Fina almost killing Koy Detmer. Granted it was his first game but he was going against all second & 3rd teamers. Probably not enough for the Eagles to panic as he will only get better. I didnt see Bunkley play. -
Preseason opener starts tonight then it's football until February! Last night I watched a good portion of the Ravens, Skin scrimmage (Ngata limped off the field and did not return and the Redskins lost a reserve DE probably for the year) and afterwards Green Bays intra squad scrimmage last night (60,000+ showed up for that ). My wife said "see you next offseason" CAN YOU FEEL THE EXCITEMENT IN THE AIR!

KH is the starting QB of this team
Chicken Wing '73 replied to bbills17's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can handle a losing season under Losman as long as he grows and shows improvement. If we have a losing season under Holcomb it will cripple this franchise for the next 2 years beyond that. -
OFFICIAL 2007 bills madden ratings
Chicken Wing '73 replied to billsfan182's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Any news on if you can edit the players this year for Madden 07 on X-Box 360? They had Sam Adams as a big white guy on Madden '06 and they usually mess up a bunch of numbers. -
