  1. Let me start off by saying I too think it would be more beneficial for JP Losman's progress if he were given the starting QB job sooner rather than later. The more reps he takes in practice the better. I can't speak for Coach Jauron but I think he's just covering his azz right now with splitting the reps. He wants to see JP in a real game or two before he decides on who deserves the starting job. We all know that practice is much different than a real game. There's no red jersey to save you from a 300+pound behemoth running a 4.6 forty trying to take your head off. If JP performs at the same level in a actual game setting as he has in practice I'm sure he'll be named starter.
  2. To me, it's not so much the three picks, it's because they were all deep passes. That means a lot considering this offense requires a lot of passes to be thrown deep.
  3. A night out on the town with Clarett is like a night out with Wayne Brady. "I'm Wayne Brady Biaatch!!!"
  4. Hopefully Jauron sees it that way, too.
  5. Most of his picks were from passes he threw down field. In this offense, with these speedy receivers, that's like a kiss of death for Holcomb. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=3952
  6. Your probably right. As for myself. I don't care if we win every week because the opposing QB fumbles the ball while kneeling down and the Bills pick it up and return it for a touchdown on the last play of the game, thus winning by one freakin' point. No scratch that. If the Bills go 12 & 4 I wouldn't care if Buffalo won 2 - 0 every game.
  7. You heard right. That's exactly what Marv is doing. He has a list of the plays that the Bills will run and he's checking to see if all the players are running the play correctly. Marv " Santa Clause" Levy "He's making a list checkin' it twice, gonna find out whose naughty or nice" Marv Levy is coming to town.
  8. I can't wait to see our WR's go head to head with Miami's secondary.
  9. I'm not a Bills fan??????? I'm a criticizer of the Bills???? Really????? Please tell me more about myself, you seem to know so much about what it is to be a fan! When I grow up I wanna be just like you.
  10. And what if Holcomb IS named the starter? I'm sure you won't be too happy, but as a Bills fan, you'll have to accept it.
  11. Either way, you'll still be waiting. Unless you plan on suiting up for the Bills and control your own destiny. Until then you can't do anything else but wait.
  12. God forbid Tom Golisano doesn't make a profit.
  13. Anything that you don't have full control of.
  14. How in the world did you come to that conclusion? I just said, "Don't get your hopes up too much because you might get let down". I too, am a JPL supporter. I hope he kicks azz everyday. Practice, preseason, whatever.
  15. When Dave Wannstedt took over the Dolphins there was a opening for the starting QB job. Day in and day out Jay Fiedler proved to be the better QB in practice over Damon Huard. Jay Fiedler got hurt and finally returned for the last pre-season game. He performed horribly in that game and all the Fins fans called for Damon Huard to be the starter. Dave didn't go for that and made Jay Fiedler the starter. Don't get me wrong, Jay Fiedler isn't a great QB, but he was the best the Dolphins had and the decision turned out to be a good one. My point is this, we shouldn't over emphasis the exhibition games. There are far too many variables to truly judge the QB. For example, QB1 starts against a very good Carolina first string defense and struggles. QB2 faces the second stringers and lights it up. That isn't the same thing. Even if QB2 starts game 2 and does well against their first string defense, that still doesn't prove anything. Team 2's starting defense may not be as good as Carolina's. The only real true way to assess the best QB for this team is to take everything into account. Every rep, every exhibition, intangibles, ability, arm strength, vision etc etc. DJ and staff have their work cut out for them. My point is this. If you support a particular QB and that QB shines in the Preseason, don't get your hopes up too high, you might be let down.
  16. I have all the confidence in the world that this coaching staff will not rush TKO into anything. The regular season is still a month away, I think he will be ready by then.
  17. Oh sorry. I guess I am a moron.
  18. Hello, Son of Sam. Say hello to the devil for me when you get a chance. Oh, BTW, go screw yourself.
  19. He mentioned how Fairchild's offense is very demanding on the quarterback with all the deep passes and throwing the ball down field. Dare I say a slight jab at Holcomb with that remark?
  20. I too, saw the interview, but what I came away with was totally different from what you did. When asked, How are you doing in camp?, JP was really saying it doesn't matter what HE thinks. It's what the coaches think that really matters. JP looked very relaxed to me as well. I don't think he's worried about the job because he believes it's his already. Losman likes to be "coached hard". That doesn't make him a child. A good coach knows what buttons to press in order to get his player to perform at a top level. I think Fairchild is doing the right thing. BTW. Parcells treats all his QB's like that, even Phil Simms. Just look how that turned out.
  21. I'd sign him in a second. Use him on running downs and McCargo and Tripplett together on passing downs. Barring injury, I guarantee top 10 run defense with Pat in the fold.
  22. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the fact that I like actually like a lot of those players and coaches on that list.
  23. Here we go again. The "your not a Bills fan", talk whenever someone doesn't like what what another member posts. You're taking this post out of context. Is it NOT true that these guys were crucified by Bills' fans. Or did I make all this crap up? I suppose you love all the guys that wear the red, white and blue? I'd love to see your Chris Watson jersey. I'm not a Bills fan, you say? Then what have I been doing all these years watching these guys? It must be I love watching a winner. Feeling that nasty pain when they lose and rejoicing even more when they win.
  24. There are far too many fall guys to name them all. But you're right. I should've added Bledsoe.
