  1. I can't believe no one mentioned Marty McSorley. Marty Mac was included in the Gretzky to LA trade just because of his skills as an enforcer and bodyguard.
  2. 3200 yds passing 20 TD's 21 Int's 59 % comp. percentage 350 yards rushing
  3. What, Jay Shroeder wasn't available??????
  4. I'm with you, AI. BTW. Did we every scrutinize every single pass that Jimbo threw in practice, during training camp????
  5. Well, it looks like the verdict is in. It didn't take long. It didn't take long for what, you ask? Not too long ago, I posted a thread about "Whom will be this season's scapegoat/punching bag". I caught some heat for that thread but like I said, the verdict is already in. Drumroll please. And this season's punching bags are...... WR Peerless Price RG Chris Villariall and QB Kelly Holcomb
  6. Hell to the muthafreakin' yeah. JP to Evans!!!!!! ALL DAY!!!!!!!
  7. This draft class reminds me of an ex-girlfriend that gained 150lbs!
  8. Is it 2007 already????
  9. Maybe I was watching a different game than everyone else, but I liked what I saw out of many of the younger players. Here is a list of some of the guys that impressed me. Kyle Williams: Those two plays that he stuffed at the line of scrimmage says it all. John McCargo: Although he didn't make many plays, I liked his pursuit to the ball. Ko Simpson: The ball seems to just gravitate towards him. Donte Whitner: always around the ball. Ashton Youboty: A ballhawk in the making. Roscoe Parrish: He's gonna give defenses problems. Sam Aiken: Showing off some receiving ability as well as his special teams skills. Kevin Everett: He can move for a big guy.
  10. If this was a regular season game I wouldn't be happy about a Kelly Holcomb interception, but since he cannot lead this team anywhere, naturally I want JP to win the starting job. If Holcomb wins the job you can expect a lot more of those noodle-armed interceptions, 5 yard dump passes on 3 & 15 and balls hitting the ground on third and eight. All of which happened against Carolina. Maybe THAT will make you jump for joy.
  11. I know I did. Round 1 goes to JP! The only thing JP has to do now is perform well against Cincinnatti's #1's and the job is all his. By Week 3 in the exhibition, JP will be named starter, officially.
  12. Yup, our very own Buffalo Bills. What did that mean? Not a damn thing! So don't worry too much about the defense.
  13. I agree.
  14. I was refering to the draft picks.
  15. Hopefully the Bills win right away, but we all know young guys take about 3 years to fully hit their stride.
  16. I, too, love BB.com. I visit everyday and watch, what amounts to be, 15 minutes of Bills' programming. I also visit the web sites for Buffalo Channels 2, 4 & 7 and get and additional 10 minutes. It's what I like to call my daily fix. I gotta have it!
  17. The Bills acquired free agents all under the age of 30 and drafted juniors out of college, what do you think?
  18. Have you (Mickey) ever even considered what would happen if JP actually wins Week 1 @ New England of all places??? I'm sure it would do wonders for his (JP's) confidence and team moral. It can be the start of a story book season for the Bills. If JP loses Week 1, it wouldn't really matter anyways because nobody expects the Bills to win. JP can still salvage his rep and the team's chances at a post-season birth with a win over Miami. Either way, we shouldn't think we will be 0 & 2 automatically. If Buffalo starts off the season 1 & 1, who will be mad? I know I wouldn't be. Especially with our home opener on the horizan with a beatable NY Jet team.
  19. I know where you're coming from, but I'm sorry to say that is a loser's mentality.
  20. I don't wish harm on anyone, but if Daunte Culpepper get's injured this Saturday during a meaningless exhibition, I'm going to laugh my azz off! Not at Culpepper, but at Saban. This guy is gonna get what's coming to him.
  21. Thanks for the info. I was just about to post the same thing.
  22. I think I recall Roscoe playing against Indy in the preseason last year. I could be wrong though. Did we even play Indy in the preseason last year?????
  23. I think you hit it right on the head. The running game is key. Willis McGahee can cure all those red zone problems and I believe he will. DJ is the type of coach that relies heavily on the run. The problem with last years' Bills were we went away from the run the second we entered the red zone. This year will be different. I hope.
