  1. I do. Maybe the choice is Huff.
  2. This signing was like a crushing blow to the head from Mike Tyson back in his prime.
  3. 35 year old banged up center and Sam Adams at aroung 33 years old a good strategy???
  4. 7 million dollar jump plus 8.6 mil back in dead cap space= 15.6 mil in cap space for Buffalo in '07.
  5. The Dolphins are interested in S. adams and Kevin Mawae. Two old guys. They must think they are ready for a Super Bowl run this year. Buffalo should sign nothing but young up and comers. Get rid of all of our thirty- something millionaires and start all over again clean.
  6. I'm all for cutting Moulds. On one condition though. We need to draft Vernon Davis.
  7. With Mike Williams' and possibly Eric Moulds' contracts off the books in 2007 Buffalo should be a huge player in free agency the next two years.
  8. $102 million for 2006 and $109 million for 2007. He also added free agency will begin in 24 to 48 hours. Per NFL Network interview.
  9. The cap should go up $10 million. The not-likely incentives(around 1 to 2 million dollars for Buffalo) in players' contracts will not count against this years cap and when we finally sign Clements his cap # should go down as well. The Bills started the day roughly $9 million under the cap. We should have about $20 million to spend. Let's go shopping!!!!
  10. No. Now that they reached an agreement Free agency will start in 3 days. Friday Midnight, I think.
  11. Trading down would be ideal. Especially with Denver for their 2 first round picks. I'd take Mangold and Bunkley with those picks in a second if they were still available.
  12. 1. Houston: Bush. Best player period. They still have Carr. 2. N.O.: Leinart. Fills a need. 3. Tennessee: Young. Hometown hero+ McNair cap situation. 4. Jets: Cutler. Chad is done. 5. GB: Mario Williams . Superior athlete. 6. SF: AJ Hawk. Peterson is a goner. 7. OAK: Ngata. I struggled with this one. They drafted Gallery only a season or two ago. I can't see them go O-line again. 8. BUF: D'Brick. Someone falls in the draft every year. If this doesn't come to fruition and D'Brick, Ngata and Williams are all gone look for the Bills to trade down. I see Denver as a possibility for both of their firsts. If that happens look for the Bills to take C: Mangold and DT Bunkley. BTW. I see Denver taking RB DeAngelo Williams with the eighth pick.
  13. players signing one year deals on the cheap so that they can break the bank in '07. I hope the NFL doesn't become a league of have and have nots'. Buffalo wouldn't stand a chance in a league where the Jones' and Snyders' of the world act like Steinbrenner and sign every "name" player in sight.
  14. Maybe Levy will pull a TD and sign someone at midnight, tonight. Let's just hope the guy works out better than Posey.
  15. I woke up this morning feeling all excited and stuff. It sort of felt like when I was a kid and it was Christmas morning. I guess it's due to the uncertainty that comes with Thursday, Bloody Thursday. Who will be cut? Who will the Bills pick-up? I haven't had this much fun in a offseason since the Bills signed Jeffcoat, Paup and Washington. Let's just hope some offensive lineman become available and Buffalo can sign a few of them. That will allow us to draft Vernon Davis or Ngata. Either one of them I'll be happy with. My eyes will be glued to the tube today. It's gonna get interesting.
  16. Not true. Davis is a game changer. Not a luxury player. BTW, TE is a need. KE was drafted by the last regime. Who knows how the new guys feel about him and he is injury prone.
  17. Not if you bring in the right lineman via draft and free agency. Blitz up the middle and leave all of those guys man to man?? It would be more like, blitz up the middle and get burned!. Like Marv used to say, "Thank You for the blitz!!!!!!"
  18. Like I said. Draft O-linemen with some of our other picks and use free agency and walaa!!!
  19. At first I thought it would be a good idea to let EM walk. But when I saw the kind've numbers Vernon Davis put up at the combine I began to think about how sick Buffalo's offense could be with Davis, Moulds, Evans, Parrish, Everett and McGahee could be!!! How to you strategize against a team that can field a basic I Formation or 3 WR set with a TE and a back or a 2 TE set with a back and 2 WR or a 2 TE set with 3 WR's or... You get the point. Then you use the rest of the draft and free agency to plug in some holes on both lines and there you have it. A productive and potentially great offseason.
  20. Take a look at all of the teams that went to the Super Bowl lately. NE(Graham), PHI(Lewis), CAR(Wiggins), PIT(Miller), SEA(Stevens), ST.L(Cleeland), TEN(Wycheck), DEN(Sharpe), Balt(Sharpe), DAL(Novacek) and SF(Jones). All of these teams had good to great TE's. To me, the selection of Vernon Davis is a no-brainer. You take him, especially if you lose EM. The only way you don't take him is if Mario Williams or D'Brick are still available.
  21. No problem. They can just field all of their assistant coaches
  22. I agree wholeheartedly. The Bills need to take some drastic measures to not only improve the O-Line but to make it stupendous. It all starts on the O-line. #21 gives us our best chance to win. Not JP, not LE and not EM. Willis is the way. Give him a great line and have him lose a few pounds and watch out NFL!!!
  23. You make some good points. It will be difficult to imagine EM in a different uniform. He has been Mr. Buffalo Bill for quite some time now, but and then again, is that a good thing? What you seem to forget is the cap savings Buffalo will ultimately have in the 2007-08 season. It will be about 7 to 8 Million dollars and thats WITH a suitable #2 receiver replacing #80 on our roster. I say let him go. This is a rebuilding year anyways.
