  1. There's a lot of good information in there, but the only thing I took out of that is the fact the skin's director of sports medicine is named Bubba.
  2. He's not listed in any stat sheet, just Manning, Hasselback, and Lorenzen as QB's so it doesn't look like he made the field. With that being said, he was sacked 3 times in pregame.
  3. and it's LV-Bills by a nose!
  4. Sean Alexander: 6 carries, 13 yards Edgerrin James: 2 carries, -2 yards Rudi Johnson: 3 carries, -8 yards Ease up a bit. He's got a lot to prove this year, but it's not "this year" yet.
  5. it appears that the ability to recognize sarcasim is lost on the board today
  6. Exactly...I did watch the Redskins game, and now that Portis is hurt there's our trading partner..McGahee for Derrick Dockery!!! I appreciate Tbone's passion, but it's a little knee jerk
  7. I agree that I was glad Holcomb threw the pick. It has nothing to do with Ill will towards him, or that i'm a "bad fan" for cheering something bad happening to the Bills. It has everything to do with Holcomb being a mediocre at best talent and his leadership of the team means only a further setback towards building a winner. I was glad to see the pick because it is a further confirmation that he lacks the skill set and aggressiveness to attack defenses. Holcomb being the opening day starter is bad for the Bills and I was cheering the fact that the pick reinforces he is wrong for the job.
  8. I'd throw him in there....man's been playing football for many years, its the scheme not the game he's lagging slightly on. Get his feet wet and get that first hit in.
  9. 1st play of the game: Mularkey calls a naked bootleg for 6 yards
  10. Schopp is one of the most self absorbed and arrogant personalities I have ever heard. The guy is genuinely disinterested in sports yet works for a sports talk station. He is WGR's equivalent of Dennis Miller, but worse.
  11. He's a big Earnhardt fan
  12. 44 Days!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  13. I agree with LevysEra...it is indeed a loser mentality. The best way to overcome adversity is not to avoid it, but to take it on and fight your battles. Approaching JP with kid gloves will only tell us that he can partially get the job done under the right circumstances as opposed to fighting through and taking command of the position.
  14. No ones calling for the 3rd year quarterbacks replacement. People just want to see what he is before we decide to anoint him or scrap him. To say that the fans are a cancer is incredibly off base. It is the National Football League, a multi-billion dollar industry. It's the big leagues so you put up or you fade away. Unrealistic expectations are not something the players pay attention too. They didn't make it to the apex of professional sports because they cared about what a pre-season ranking looked like or how Average Guy thought they should win it all. ..... with that being said, the cancer was Dorenbos, no doubt!
  15. I bet he's looking for a signing bonus in the $5 Million range
  16. I think Taft had a larger cup size
  17. Manning also has a cannon too.... I think this is such a double edged sword. The only way to accomplish the feat of being able to read the defense is to go through growing pains. However, simply being able to understand the offensive concepts, where the blitz is coming from, hot reads and your check downs is not enough. You still must possess the adequate athleticism to get the ball there on time. There is always the discussion as to what constitutes good arm strength. If you were to watch Holcomb warm up on the sideline, you would say to yourself he can zing it pretty well. However, if you were to watch Holcomb throw a 15 yard out, you would see a considerable arc on the ball as compared to Losman. There is such a short window that a receiver is open that both the timing and the arm strength must be in unison to properly run the play. MDH, you are dead on with your analysis. The issue is not black and white. Holcomb possesses the smarts to identify what is before him as he is a 10 year vet, but he cannot confidently get the ball into the tight areas or down the seam consistently enough to free up our short yardage attack.
  18. ....and I'm sure Hezbollah has a well established rocket factory that they replenish their ammunition cache with too...Iran is the major instigator in that part of the world. Rational communication with a nation that denies the most tragic mass murder in history even took place is almost an impossibility. Their radical hatred is rooted deeper than any treaty or sanction can take place. They are a ticking timebomb just waiting for the moment where they feel empowered enough to start something on the main stage as opposed to behind the scenes.
  19. So the part about the US confiscating the uranium is innacurate? There's a difference between accusing Iraq of seeking it and intercepting it enroute to Iran.
  20. She's 26 with a 14 year old....wow
  21. I agree that Bush is a physical talent in the highest eschelon, but even amazing backs can be contained if you devote your resources to them. What Bush may end up doing is opening up the tight ends and receivers for the Aints. The only slight on Bush that I can see maybe materializing is he may not be that guy who can get you those 2 tough yards on 3rd and 2
  22. He has weaknesses and Bruschi will exploit them
  23. While that is definetly what happened last year, I do belive the new regime has addressed that issue with the stress on high character players. I do believe we will see a less selfish and more cohesive unit than what we saw last season.
  24. No one forgot about that....although he is a year and a half out of what was not a major tear and didn't require reconstruction. That's enough time to start to regain your form and show something. The point wasn't that he should be an all star, the point is that nobody is talking about progress he's making (if any), things he's doing, etc. His seeming overall irrelevancy is what i'm questioning. Yes..Neufeld is also a prime candidate for that list
  25. I can't speak for everybody but i'm particularly interested to see if either Kyle or Mangum are going to win the Panthers heated competition for starting long snapper.
