  1. I dislike him for many many reasons...first and foremost his ignorance shines so bright I need sunglasses....he's completely enamored with himself and his wittyness, and he just has a voice that makes you want to give him a good solid boot
  2. Listening to Cowterd < Contracting Herpes
  3. On both sides of the ball the players are talking about a simplified game plan, and focusing on perfecting fewer schemes and plays as opposed to being decent at a huge playbook. This staff is just letting the guys go out there and play, and when you react you play much faster than when you need to think about things
  4. He was only able to rock the pocket one time and then he was done
  5. The squwaking and parroting quotes are ingenius additions to conversation, innovative and constructive methods popularized by intellectual icons such as RJOSEPH and Ladarius. Fact is, you like Mularkey, I can't stand the guy, two opinions neither more correct. You say he didn't abandon the run, I say Brown had 2 carries in the second half. You say he was tops in the league back in 2002, I say he doesn't use his personnel correctly and puts his team in tough positions. Either way, I'm glad he's in Miami and nothing will change that.
  6. So Cowher had no bearing on what that team did, and it's merely a coincedence that in his 2+ years since he left Pittsburgh his offenses have looked like a disjointed and disgruntled band of misfits...
  7. Ronnie Brown had 2 carries in the second half....2 carries when the Bills were never more than 2 scores ahead. I'm not sure how I'm making that part up. Most of your posts in the past have been rational so I figured this could be a debate.....but sqwaking??? ok nice talking to ya
  8. There are those who are gamers and those who do not have their finger on the pulse of what is truly happening. Mularkey is the latter. I don't care if his offenses were top 5 in Pittsburgh under Cowher, a HOF coach who earns the respect of his players. When Mularkey had the chance, he had in-fighting amongst his staff and a divided lockerroom. His personnel didn't have faith in the playcalling, and the overall identity of what Mularkey was doing as a team. You don't earn the unquestioned faith of your subordinates by tucking tail when adversity hits, and the teams failure on the road and lack of intestinal fortitude was a direct reflection of the HC and his lack of an identity. Mularkey could not maximize his personnel, point blank simple. He could not adjust to what was happening on the field, he could not stop a situation from snowballing. He was repeatedly overmatched when he didn't have a guy like Bill Cowher to help set the tone. Mularkey's a nice guy, he can marry my sister, just don't go near my football team.
  9. I wasn't aware Bennie had triceps, I thought he just had two big Tongs
  10. I don't base my opinons on what the collective minds of TBD think. I base it squarely off of watching 2 years of inept Bills football under the guidance of Mike Mularkey. Poor clock management, poor use of personnel, and the blatant inability to adjust to game conditions. When you are averaging almost 5 yards per carry in a 2 score game, you don't put your horse back in the stable, its ridiculous. Mularkey promises the world and then hands you a globe.
  11. HOOOOOOOOOO AHHHH
  12. Favorite to beat? Favorite to see win? I hate em all!
  13. When Reed engages the defender with his hands it is no longer an established positional pick.
  14. Whatever anyone thinks about Mularkey's gadgetry and what not, there is no denying that the guy has no feel for the game. That was on display for 2 years in Buffalo and evident as well yesterday. Ronnie Brown was ripping off 4-6 yards on every carry but Mularkey went to the pass almost the entire 2nd half. His ability to make adjustments on the fly based on what is happening on the field is non-existent. He is a poor game manager, and consistently does not put his personnel in position to play to their strengths.
  15. That's because Losman would have handed it off to McGahee, who would have lateralled it to evans who would have re-snapped it back to Losman before Parrish got his hands on the ball
  16. I was just reading some of the other posts on that Jests board.....they have to pay a fee for options such as searching.....
  17. Chances are you won't hear anything until Wednesday at the earliest. The D will be more stout against the run with Spikes in there and with his ability to diagnose plays, the intermediate pass coverage should improve more as well. Having Spikes in the game also makes the O-Line be aware of his presence as he is a legit blitz option.
  18. Ahh yes, the Dynasty....why with such cornerstones as Pennington, Coles, and umm...Barlow who could not help but taste the champagne already
  19. It was in jest, I realize the real reason why they are struggling. I have been impressed with how Reyes has played though.
  20. Just saying Reyes has looked like a good pickup for the Bills, most of the good runs look to go to the left side, and he holds up well in pass protection. I think our other guard (CV) has just about run the course though...
  21. ONLY IF HE GOES BACK TO THE AMBER VISOR HE HAD AT THE U....SERIOUSLY WHEN HE HAD THIS VISOR I SAW HIM OUTRUN A HERD OF WILD HORSES, HE USED THE STIFF ARM ON THE FIRST HORSE AND THEN USED HIS BURST AND ACCELERATION TO BEAT THE OTHERS
  22. Very good article in the NYT, thank god the NFTA is finally withdrawing their stifling control over what should be prime real estate.
  23. Yes, 12 months ago, under our former bumbling regime Losman looked putrid. Fast forward to the present, and he is showing something. 2 games, 0 turnovers. The offense needs to put up more points but he's getting it.
  24. I'll take the suspense out of it and preview the excuses for the entire season: Week One: Brady misses Branch and needs a hug Week Two: Culpepper's knee is still not 100% and is not in sync with receivers Week Three: Penningtons shoulder still limits what throws he can make Week Four: Brad Johnson is only an aging serviceable QB with no true threats Week Five: The Real Rex Grossman finally showed up Week Six: The Detroit Lions would lose to a few college teams Week Seven: Brady still misses Branch and the hug didn't workl Week Eight: Bye, with no opponent to play of course the Bills would look ok, JP Still Sucks Week Nine: Brett Favre is ancient with no weapons Week Ten: The Colts overlooked the Bills and Peyton misses Edge Week Eleven: The Texans O-line is minor league and they need Reggie Bush Week Twelve: Byron Leftwich is hobbled and the Defense let them down Week Thirteen: Phillip Rivers is STILL a rooke Week Fourteen: Pennington's shoulder is about to go under the knife again Week Fifteen: With Harrington and Culpepper in a QB controversey, theres no way they could win in the snow Week Sixteen: The Vince Young development tour is in full swing Week Seventeen: The Ravens have nothing to play for and sit their starters
  25. While a certain detractor looks at it like Losman didn't progress well, take it into perspective. There were ample opportunities for the team to go play action and probably bust a big one with how the fins started stacking against the run, but Jauron and Fairchild kept it close to the vest as promised and took the 2 yards on the ground to eat clock. If Allen doesn't just tackle Evans, then it becomes a completely different story....It turns into JP managed the game, hammered it inside, and then pounced when the opportunity arrived. The main thing is, if you can honestly sit here and say no progression has been made after you opened the season with 2 tough road games and the offense hasn't committed ONE turnover then delusion is reality.
