  1. I suppose the reason Willis always falls forward after contact and is rarely driven backwards is a result of being weak......traditional weights (bench, squat, etc is not the only way to build core strength either. McGahee wiffed on the wide block today, but last week he picked up two guys on a blitz on the same play. To say he is uninspired and plays like he wants out is ignorant and off base
  2. Vincent plays with the Cajones of Holcomb and the desire of Bledsoe. He was a good player for a lot of years, but he never seemed to show that tremendous fire for the game during his Bill tenure. He has amassed a fortune in leveraging his NFL earnings into successful business ventures. IMO he has been playing just enough to get it done and nothing more. It's not a knock that "he's well spoken and calculated, he must not like football" rather his actions on the field and his lack of desire to "stick his head in there" show he's playing for life after football.
  3. I agree with Simon as there's not much 11 on 11 Spikes really needs to be ready for the assignments on Sunday, however if one more week of rest = 13 regular season games then it's worth it. Besides, the achilles just got 2 more weeks of rehab too.
  4. I love how the guy can never admit he's wrong, his predictions just take a little more time to develop. I've never subscribed to the notion that you have needed to play the game at the pro level to be a legit commentator on the sport, but he makes me ill and all I can think of I can't take this pipsqueak seriously. Where's Ogre when you need him.
  5. http://timesunion.com/AspStories/story.asp?storyID=518624 Doesn't look promising for him to come bursting out of the tunnel on Sunday...
  6. 2. Pittsburgh -2 vs Cincinnati- Big ben is healthy and at home...the Bengals D is very banged up, and Palmer will be having nightmares of the last time he was in the stadium. I take Pittsburgh all the way, take it to the bank. On a side note, I really think Auburn will have no trouble covering 42.5 against UB either.
  7. Wow.....lights were on....barely
  8. So it has scorch marks all over it then?
  9. YOU FORGOT THE FIREWORKS AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I CAN"T WAIT FOR THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. DIEEEEEEEE JETS DIEEEEEEEEEE
  11. You really were too, neither took the time to open their playbook
  12. Man you just planted a seed in my head I know is gunna bloom when that friggen alarm goes off tomorrow...
  13. I am shocked it took this long...
  14. I take it you've never been inside a lockerroom. I'll take your 50$ right now. There are a lot of things that get thrown around inside a lockerroom, I'll put my house up that say that isn't one of them.
  15. On his role in the nickel situations Mostly the short yardage situations, when they bring in their jumbo or heavier packages with an extra tight end, it’s a way for us to get a bigger guy on the field and try to match up better with what they’re going to try to do, which most of the time will be to run the ball and attack us on the ground. It’s just putting personnel out there that suits up with what they have out there. I worked really hard this offseason. I don’t have a coaching staff telling me to lose weight anymore. I’m back to what I feel my playing weight is. I’m just fortunate to be able to contribute. It's ironic that players seem to take little jabs at the former regime when they get the chance. It's nothing groundbreaking, but it's another example of exactly how messed up last year was.
  16. American, it's all I had
  17. I just ate grilled cheese
  18. Jets: Strengths are: QB who is a gamer, and is seldom fooled 2 Quality WR Solid Corp of LB Weaknesses: Running game belongs on a milk carton DB's are average Haven't shown the ability to apply pressure to the QB on D I think the Bills come in amped up, JP gets the shackles loostened up just a little bit.....maybe 180 - 200 yds passing, McGahee struggles early as the Jets stack the line thinking Losman can't hurt them, then starts to find openings by the mid 2nd Quarter. Bills D is on rocket fuel, needs to control their emotions with having the 12th man on their side for the first time this year. I like the Bills chances very much in this one.
  19. Matt Bowen: 6-1, 203 Coy Wire: 6-0, 205 Virtually a wash, but since Bowen is hurt, Coy is the biggest DB remaining, and since his greatest strength is stopping the run, they put him in on running plays. The quote says since stopping the run in "HIS" best attribute they only put him in on running plays. It doesn't say his run stopping ability is better than Bowens.
  20. Looks like the topical cream wore off
  21. totally agree...Mularkey is a great innovative mind, and is a great X's and O's kind of guy. But he seems like he is too smart for his own good, the proverbial book smart street dumb kind of coach. He gets so enamored with the potential big plays he sees on the field that he doesn't set up his personnel into a position to succeed. He's too busy installing the jacuzzi in the master suite before he's even finished building the foundation. He seems incapable at times of taking what he's given and making it work.
  22. Bingo.....Cotchery or whoever that was somehow not being down and Coles somehow making 45 patriots miss. Now if those were 90 yard drives taking up 8 minutes each its a different story.... PS BURN JETS BURN
  23. Clarett basically now knows what it must feel like to win the lottery and lose your ticket
  24. Hey Yall.....You'll have to fill me in on your time out there, I've never been to Vegas and I'm staying at the Flamingo for 5 nights in mid October so i'll take whatever advice you can gimme..have fun out there
  25. Well I went to the play you were talking about and noticed that he was scratching using his right arm while his left arm was held at a 36 degree angle off to the side. Now that in itself is not alarming, however 6 minutes earlier Crowell also had to sneeze, and he covered his mouth using his right arm as well. Now the only thing I can conclude is that Crowell has an undisclosed left shoulder injury that he is trying to hide.
