  1. So if there was a golf cart sitting next to you after you cracked the ribs, you would have said, no thanks, I'll walk?
  2. In the grand scheme of things, the Buffalo Bills have a negligible impact on the Buffalo Niagara economy. Buffalo Niagara is ranked among the 100 largest economies in the world (it's true, hard to believe but true) with an annual economic output of $56.1 Billion. The relocation of the Bills would be a blip on the radar tracking the regions bottom line. Benefit: Yes, Substantial: No
  3. Tis the season to be jorry, fa ra ra ra ra, ra ra ra ra
  4. There are those who think the team may move to LA, but i don't recall seeing anyone WANT the team to move. The league will not expand beyond the 32 in the forseeable future as it is a nice balanced number for teams. The Bills moving would not destroy the Buffalo economy at all. It would adversely affect the quality of life in the region but the economy would not be destroyed. As far as the NFL having a heart...see Cleveland. I do agree on the fact the Bills won't be moved. There are other more attractive teams that could relocate before Buffalo would.
  5. 25- Finish the year, although my belief in him is dwindling. I also had a Baegel this morning so maybe its a breakfast thing
  6. The Bills have Tuesdays off
  7. I'm not sure about better blocking but I am sure that Thomas broke some tackles. As far as Green Bay giving in.....it was a tight game, no way they gave in.
  8. He doesn't feel pressure or have a feel for the pocket. He hasn't been moving well within the pocket to avoid the pressure and he locks onto receivers. I want the kid to succeed and be the man, I'm wavering in my faith though.
  9. Great story, glad to see you enjoyed yourself.....you even got a dose of decent weather for the game. Now you're on the hook for her birthday!
  10. I agree with you on the total importance of playing mistake free football and getting a score through the air, I just think you need your QB to make more plays than what Losman has been making to consistently get in the win column. You are putting a trememdous strain on your defense to keep the other team locked down with no margin for error when you have this type of production.
  11. I dunno about that...it took some big defensive and special teams plays to get the scenerio to play out in our favor yesterday. Moormans leg was about to fall off he was punting so much. You need to have a good balance on offense, but if you throw for 100 yards every game, there will be all 11 guys in the box.
  12. This is a Hockey reference but I think it fits. Sidney Crosby is 19 Years old. He has guys like John Leclaire and Mark Recchi, longtime vets on the team. Crosby is the unquestioned leader of that club now. Why? Because he gets in peoples faces. His own teammates, and the faces of his opponents. He gets hit late, he goes after the other guy and lets him know about it. His teammates aren't bustin on a play, he gets on them because he is busting his butt on the play. He makes a mistake, he makes it going 100 mph. That's how you earn the respect of teammates. Losman doesn't have to throw for 400 yards before he can take command of the huddle, but he needs to show he can handle a situation. The best player isn't always your leader, but your leader is often your best player.
  13. They're not skewed, they're every QB that has played the Packers this season. Skewed would be me leaving someone out to help prove my point. I didn't do that...it's just the facts.
  14. I think that being discouraged due to the fact the Bills continued to look offensively inept against one of the worst defenses in the league, coming off a bye in good weather is acceptable. QB's vs. GB Grossman- 262 1 Td/ 1 int Brees - 353 2 Td / 1 int Kitna- 342 2 TD/1 Int McNabb 288 2 TD Bulger 220 2 TD Harrington 414 2 TD / 3 Int Leinart 157 1TD / 1 Int Losman 102 1TD I've can not remember ever having been so frustrated with team that won by 1, much less 14.
  15. well, i'm depressed now
  16. I thought JP would light it up yesterday, coming off a bye, in very good weather conditions, against an awful pass defense. Nope..didn't happen. I've been very stout in my backing of Losman and really feel like he needs the time necessary to develop, but I am starting to waver. He slides well in the pocket one moment, then slides right into rushers the next. Doubt is starting to creep in as to whether or not JP has what it takes to lead the team. He is not playing good football.
  17. I hate all commercials during football... last night NBC assumed Belichick would challenge the Harrison touchdown play and went to commercial....old Bill kept the flag and they cut back to the game out of the commercial during the extra point. Commercials are ruining the game experience.
  18. I think the Bills should put Roscoe Parrish at running back. Did you see how fast he was in the open field, he is way better than McGahee. He might be useful at middle linebacker too...there's no doubt in my mind that he could have kept up with that interception return...i mean Spikes was 20 yards on the other side of the field and he couldn't even catch our safety, Parrish could have passed Simpson and made hot dogs in the endzone by the time Ko got there. Speaking of Hot dogs, I know hot dogs and I'm a no-nonsense griller when it comes to hot dogs, and Spikes can't make dogs worth ****
  19. 6 Teams, there were only 6 teams when the leafs won the cup. They want to talk about putting an asterisk next to the Sabres winning streak, then History should read like this: Toronto Maple Leafs: *11 Stanley Cups (note) * denotes that these victories are nothing more than division championships due to the fact the leafs only had to beat 5 other teams to win the cup. Christ they could have been mediocre and been the 3rd best team in the NHL.
  20. Congratulations, you beat out 5 other teams to win the cup. They're glorified division championships.
  21. Ok I Rescind the snide "tool" part. I don't take back what I think of the situation though. Even if it was my neighbor who also was experiencing hardship, and they helped me out by working hard at their job to get the community back together, I would be extremely grateful and generous for their services. There are many stories of people making big lunches for the crews in the neighborhood and giving hot coffee and tea to everybody, I think that is something special when a neighborhood is in shambles.
  22. Well then I gladly rescind what I said. I always thought Pooj was a light hearted kind of poster so I got offended. I stand corrected and educated.
  23. Sorry to hear you have your panties wadded up so tightly today. It's easy to lob criticism of a situation from out of state and trivialize the generosity people put forth when you're not the one who didn't have electricity for 6 days. It's a good story, and you're a glass half empty tool for tearing it down.
  24. Happy Birthday and enjoy your weekend! That's a hard to beat gift for sure.
  25. Come on man, you can't be serious is the context. Not common man, as in it is a regular occurance.
