  1. Of course Willis averaging almost 8 yards a carry, the Bills reverting to a ball control scheme to work the clock with a 2 score lead had nothing to do with Losman not chucking it anymore.....
  2. So is Pennington finally done out there....I think after the second surgery they transplanted the rotator cuff of a 9 year old girl in there. That guy doesn't have the arm to make even a simple 10 yard out anymore.....and it's a shame. I always liked Pennington but gosh....he has to be done now.
  3. Welcome back chief.......you came back and took it like a man..although being a Jets fan you prob have gotten good at that.
  4. I know when he was filling in for Spikes he looked good, and then injuries and Spikes put him back to the bench. The guy can flat out play though. Looks like a great late round pick for the Bills. Very fast to the ball and attacks the ball carrier. I really liked what I saw yesterday.
  5. It's not what he would have wanted...... I think the best way to remember Phil in death is to perform a living tribute to the man we only began to know and love...... Ok we'll need some volunteers: I'll be in charge of staining the clothes with urine, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and deep fryer grease Guffalo: I'm gunna need you to go find a burned out car that somehow still runs, don't forget the fuzzy dice and the "My kid could beat up your honor student" bumper sticker. East Brady: I'm going to have to put you in charge of writing the eulogy. There's gunna have to be some references to his Love of the Jests, hairy overweight women, and don't skip on the profanity. LoadofMularkey: you're in charge of putting together his final resting outfit. You're gunna have to dig up a Klecko Jersey, Wrangler Jeans, and the British Knights. Make sure you give him his favorite Hess hat too, can't reach the otherside without your favorite hat. If I'm missing anything, let me know
  6. I'm going to have to chime in and offer up that she wears festive red and green pasties
  7. because it's too early to draw this conclusion because it's just a dumb comparison and because I like beer and pirates
  8. That's awful...what a senseless ending to a life
  9. True, bunkers inside of mountains or networks that go upwards of 50 feet below ground level are virtually impervious to anything but the controversial new nuclear bunker busters. However, the tactics of using 1,000 and 1,500 lb on staggered strikes have been effective at neutralizing some very hardened targets
  10. I think it was a bit of both
  11. The Video State police have released video showing the crash that killed Justin Strzelczyk, a former member of the Pittsburgh Steelers and standout at West Seneca West High School. Strzelczyk was killed in a fiery collision on the thruway east of Syracuse last October. The accident that killed Strzelczyk, a 1986 graduate of West Seneca West, closed a stretch of the Thruway, and occurred at the end of a 40-mile police pursuit of his pickup truck, which crashed into a chemical tanker....
  12. Wouldn't the minivan be the most popular car in Europe then???
  13. Hurry up, you gotta see this before it dries!!! Just ahead of Soccer in TV Ratings
  14. The network of caves on that island is incredible. Can you imagine being a Japanese soldier sitting inside a cave that's been bulldozered shut, just sitting around waiting to run out of air..... Everything I've seen about that battle for Iwo Jima is stunning, and the courage that the Americans put forth to take it is historic.
  15. Well it doesn't exactly sound like it was the Italian Job...
  16. I fear Huet. That guy seems to really keep the Sabres on lockdown. The Sabres have found ways to win against him, but its a dogfight every inch of the way.
  17. I know I'm speaking to a veteran about this. The infantry will always have a place in combat no matter what. This thread was just talking about the extinction of mass beach landings and how iwo jima was heavily fortified against aerial bombardment. Urban warefare is completely different than what I was talking about.
  18. Well the Giants inked Bonds to a 1 year deal for 16 million. That's a lot of cash for a 42 year old steroid junkie with bad knees. Guess he wants that HR title pretty bad.
  19. The technology these days doesn't allow that to happen anymore. The new degree of bunker busting ordinance as well as the gps and laser guidance the weapons have make the initial bombardment much, much more effective when softening up an objective.
  20. Buffalos don't have wings but I kinda like this one: http://www.richterscale.org/recipes/buffwing.htm
  21. Guys, I think he's on to something. Now that I think back, the Bills blocking has been not very good the last couple years.
  22. All I'm saying is it seems most teams and scouts didn't regard Bunkley as a top 15 pick until his combine workout. He may have been a very good player in college, but that alone wasn't enough to garner top 15 attention until he hit the weight room, the 40, and the shuttle.
  23. One thing is for sure though, sometimes patience is good. Sometimes you need to hit it up in there. Willis needs to realize his situations and act accordingly. Sometimes 3 yards would make a world of difference, sometimes you gotta swing for the fences, pick your spots. How many times on 3rd and 9 do we get a pass for 7 or 8 yards? Hitting it up in there to give yourself a 3rd and 5 can make a big difference in continuing a drive...
  24. I'm going to take a different angle with Willis. And that is, I just don't know. Some games he pounds and pounds and busts some and fights for yardage. Other games he looks like he's cold and disinterested. Those good games where he runs like his hair is on fire gets me thinking, OK now here's the guy from the U that was a top 5 pick. Then he goes missing for two games and I think, ok here's a guy that really likes all those zero's at the end of his paycheck. I just can't get a consistent read on the guy because he doesn't consistently show up. When he does, he's a good back. When he doesn't, he's just a guy.
  25. You deepfry it with the roll... I didn't think you'd make that rookie mistake...
