  1. The Bills agreed to not put any type of tag on Clements: Franchise Tag, Transition Tag, Clearance Tag, Name Tag, Tag you're it, Nothing. Even if it was a gentlemans agreement and the Bills tried to tag him again, Clements would never sign it. He would sit. Word would get out and the Bills would have a black eye with free agents all over the board.
  2. Just look at Milwaukee. Their tallest building is almost the identical height of what this proposed tower is. The next tallest building is close to the hsbc tower. After that, you have a bunch of buildings close to that of Buffalo. Just look at their skyline. It doesn't look disproportioned at all. http://www.roofingdesign.com/images/Milwaukee%20Skyline.jpg
  3. Well the whole selfishness part, flipping off the Georgia Dome fans, and trying to smuggle pot onto an airplane is my definition of douchebag.
  4. The HSBC tower is 529 feet, this would be 70 feet higher. Currently, the next tallest building in Buffalo is City hall at 378 feet. That puts the HSBC Tower at 151 feet taller than the next tallest building, does it look out of place?
  5. They stipulated last season that if Nate signed his franchise tender last season that they would not franchise him again this year
  6. Looks like the Marcus Vick situation isn't all that abnormal for that family. It's true, the apple really doesn't fall far from the douchebag
  7. He and his family have made a home here
  8. I had seen the first rumblings of this project through the emporis site. It would be a tremendous addition to the skyline and a catalyst for further downtown investment. If this project could come to fruition (it's led by an eager, dynamic young foreign businessman) then it would be a great addition. The new health now corporate headquarters is a good step for downtown, this would be a good leap for downtown. As for the size and magnitude of the project, another planning board member embraced Issa's vision. "We can't be a five-story building downtown for the rest of our lives," said Cynthia Schwartz. "We are way behind many of our colleagues." I heart Cynthia Schwartz
  9. That made Michael Richards stand up performance look hilarious...... just messin
  10. Thomas would be great. Pashos, I think we've had enough OG's from Baltimore thank you very much.
  11. Except for the fact that from 1946 - 1995 that franchise called Cleveland home...
  12. They never get the killer holding penalty. Brady will hit Watson for 35 yards down the middle while Light is giving the arm bar to the DE. Their holding calls come when its either a 28-3 game or it's a holding call on an incomplete 3rd down pass.
  13. Your point is well taken and legit. But it was referring to making people sit in the cold and snow. When the Bills are winning, the cold and snow are awesome, the harder it snows the louder you cheer. When the team sucks, it's just cold and damp out.
  14. 5'11- 195 I could cover like Coy or break tackles like Shaud.... NFL Europe
  15. Yea exactly, LT just wanted outta there and they kept grabbing him and he was like, man get off me
  16. They don't have to sleep, they sold their soul to the devil already.
  17. I think we need to lose a guy like Kotalik or Novotny and replace them with a(n) Andrew Brunette, Shane Doan, Gary Roberts type player.
  18. Didn't have "The Look" huh?
  19. It's not about having the guys that are willing to drop at any time ie Mair, Goose and Petey. It's about having guys who won't peel off a check. Having guys who will take the body and not poke check, and guys that make you have at least a little pit in your stomach heading into the corners. Campbell, Kalinin, Paetsch, Numminen, they all won't make you pay in the corners, they work the puck. All in all, I have no real issues with this Sabres team overall, but I don't think they can stand up to anyone physically. Watch any game, our goalies get whacked and poked after the whistle and our D looks at the players like, "dude did you hear the whistle". Derek Roy pokes the other teams goalie and he has 3 guys givin him the business after the whistle. When this team has it's legs, no one can play with them. When they don't have their legs, I'm not sure they have the capability to really win the muck it out game.
  20. The Winter of 77 also started out with a moderate, yet weakening El Nino with early winter conditions mild like this year has been
  21. El Nino is only one part of the equation though. You have the North Atlantic Oscillation that works as well. They are discussing a cross polar flow developing which would bring the air from Siberia over the pole and into North America. Combine that with the NAO becoming neutral which will help cancel the zonal flow of the Jet Stream and you have the potential to really unlock some of the arctic air.
  22. They still have the right to cook and clean though right.....please say yes
  23. Just read this: http://wwwa.accuweather.com/news-top-headl...&traveler=0 I love it, I snowmobile bring it on. Quoted From Article "Unlike recent weather patterns when cold air has been quickly replaced by unseasonable warmth, the upcoming cold shot will remain in place across most of the nation through the latter half of January. Expert Meteorologist Bernie Rayno has additional information on the upcoming cold shot in the video to the right. According to Chief Long Range Forecaster Joe Bastardi, the weather from mid-January through mid-February could mimic the winters of 1957-58 and 1965-66. Those winters began with warm conditions before finishing with cold and stormy weather. Bastardi says in a worst-case scenario, the country will experience a repeat of the winter of 1977-78. After a tepid start, that winter was remarkable for its cold and storms, including three powerful blizzards in the Northeast. "Those who think that winter 2006-2007 is going to remain mild are in for a shock. Winter is likely to come with a vengeance. A week from now, we'll start seeing truly cold air across much of the country, and we expect this change to last." Bastardi believes that if the change in the weather pattern reaches its full potential, the onset of cold weather could result in "one of the top-five coldest 30-day stretches in the past half century."
  24. So what did you drink on the off days? My big college meal was: egg noodles, can of tuna, and a couple scoops of miracle whip. Keystone was the drink of choice.
