Great insight, I appreciate it. My old man has always been the i'll try anything once kinda guy. I know he prefers a bit mellower of a smoke, but I think he would enjoy the variety. The people who came at TG were acting solely out of Jealousy. Anyone who signs up to this board enjoys two things, writing and the Bills. TG and JW get to do it for a living, which is a pretty cool job. It's a shame that the proverbial few bad apples had such an effect.

I actually think the LB's are going to be much improved. Every time I saw the Bills play an Andre Davis team, i thought about how much I hated that guy..... hit hard, not much for YAC, and he had a swagger. I really think Davis' ability to recognize run plays and fit them up is going to be a huge upgrade. Last year, we had Ellison playing at 220, and would get blown off plays. At least you will have a 260 Kelsay in there instead to create a better physical matchup. My key to this though is how Davis is going to make this squad better, the guy is a solid player.

The 3-4 lineman are inherently designed to eat up the hogs to the the LBs and Safeties penetrate. Bruce was the exception not the rule. The advantage the 3-4 holds is that you don't know where the rush is coming from. The 4-3 is easier to gameplan against because it is harder to disguise, and dropping a hand on the ground lineman in the zone scheme is not something you want to run 25 times a game. Therefor, you want your NT to be a mountain, and the two ends athletic, yet stout and let your OLB's wreak the havoc. Other than Dwan Edwards, we don't have a true 3-4 end on the squad. I don't buy stroud being a great candidate just yet....
