Oh almost forgot too.... Love the blue endzones. I would have loved red ones even more but so much better than the other rug they had out there.

I honestly only noticed him a few times, and it wasn't for anything good or bad. About the only thing I can say is he looks like he is built like a Mack truck. I definitely did. I said the same thing, He just scraped down the line and worked through 2 lineman to make that play.

Official Bills vs. Jags Thread

Thurman had a pretty decent career being a smaller back and playing the north south game didn't he? There's more to the N-S game than 3 yards, could of dust, and run your man over. Thurman never took the big hit, but it's not because he didn't tread where the big dogs ate. If Spiller can work that game in the same style, he will be ok. -
-Fitz looked great, made some great throws, moved around in the pocket well, looked much more comfortable than the first few games - Stevie is very good in traffic. SJ looks very comfortable plucking the ball and getting back to protect himself. Hopefully he can follow up the breakout season by making a lot of those tough catches. - D. Bell actually looked pretty good tonight at LT - Levitre looked pretty bad tonight at LT. He was getting lit up on the bull rushes, looked like he was out of his weight class on a few of those pass plays. - Spiller hit it up inside better than he has been. He got some tough yardage up the middle and showed a few flashes of why he was drafted. - Dareus is a large man. He looks like the type of player that you will see teams starting to run away from when working the ground game. He gets inside the o-linemen's hands very quickly and disengages from their blocks very well. - Refs are in preseason mode. Two pass interference calls to keep Jacksonville drives going were pretty tough calls. Florence had textbook position on the one play. - Kamar Aiken shows promise. He made a great acrobatic play and seems to be one of those guys who just flows out there, much like how Stevie Johnson just kinda flows in the game. - Jasper needs work. The big man is a beast, but his technique is poor. He allows himself to be directed by the o-linemen. They were steering him pretty much at will a lot of the night. - Pears looked to hold his own as well. He's a lot closer to being an average NFL RT than he is being terrible. He seems to have good mobility and held his own in the run blocking game tonight. - I think Batten will see the field a lot this year. He has a nice feel for the game and I wouldn't be surprised to see him rotated in more than we might expect. - Scott Chandler might be a real Tight End. If the Bills choose to try to work the TE into their playbook this year, Chandler looks like he might be able to tote the mail. Seems to have soft hands and is a very big target. I love Gailey's enthusiasm for the game. So much different than Jauron. On those pass interference calls Gailey was on his horse jawing at the referees. He was very animated and let them know what was on his mind. It was nice to see after enduring all those years with Skeletor. Take it for what it's worth, but it was fun being back at the Ralph and watching some football.

To me anyway, you can still blow off steam without being a barbarian about it. I like to think that no matter how many parking lot pops i have had before the game, I still am cognizant enough to not start screaming obscenities if there is a family in front of me.... at least hard core language anyway. Of course when you get 73,000 people together for anything it can get dicey, but it's definitely not a license to do whatever you want.

Great deal. I hope they do something to take care of Freddie a little bit now. I know he is on the wrong side of 30, but the man has contributed and deserves to ride off in the sunset having made more money playing for the Bills than Aaron Maybin did.

The bills are playing this perfectly.... KC will not even bother installing a defensive gameplay or worry about blitz schemes based off the preseason film. They will just try the ol run past D Bell trick... except D Bell has just playing opossum to lure them in for the kill! /dream

Still no word on what happened with Gholston....
-
12 games, 27 sacks
-
Jimmy, What happened with Gholston? Guy looked like a stud coming out of college but you guys couldn't get anything out of him either.
-
Agreed, Davis has always been a thumper against the run. The man can fill a hole and take on blockers. Everyone clamoring him to be replaced will realize after a few regular season games that this guy can play. I too hope this signing means that Moats moves back outside. His skill set is wasted at MLB.

You can never really gauge the feeling of the fan base just by reading this forum. Everyone on here is more rabid & intense than the average fan and the feelings of disgust or impatience seem to be magnified on here. That said, from social media, to tv and radio, to everyone I talk to, the patience seems to be gone. It just seems like there is a prevalent burned out feeling when it comes to talking about the Bills. It used to take until after Thanksgiving for indifference toward the team to set in, now it seems like it has already started. It's like the battered wife is finally deciding to call the cops.

I Work right across from the airport on Genesee.... my monitors were shaking a little bit. A weird feeling for sure.

At this point Fred needs and deserves the carries. Thurman was never a homerun style back, but that was never an issue. CJ has talent, but he should be the complimentary piece.
-
I never thought Levitre was built for guard since they first drafted him, he is just not a mauler. I actually always wished they would give him a shot at RT, but LT, who knows, why not. Maybe he can bring consistency....
-
He did have quite a few nice years rotating in on the Baltimore line, but he is more or less just another guy in the league.
-
On a note about Tim Graham, I know his new assignment with the paper was going to be non-sports related, but he seems to be all around the team still with his reports. Is he going to be regularly contributing to the Buffalo News coverage now, or is he going to be still sticking with the original gameplan? I really like his insight and how he reports.

Denver writer: "Moore's hit is exactly what Broncos need"

Lol... "Miller had a second sack called back due to an offsides penalty" That's pretty desperate to keep proving your point. -
Lee Evans playing well in Baltimore

Some of you guys in this thread sound like you just saw your ex at a bar with another guy & she still looks good, but you're trying to convince yourself she put on a few pounds. Lee was a good guy, good player, but he's gone. -

Awesome. The wife was giving me the "what are you doing?" look from the other couch as I was sitting here chuckling with the laptop. You get 3 gold stars for that one. -
Indeed, he was getting bounced, tossed, and swallowed up by Steeler blockers.

Who is Patrick Moran? Supposedly major news.

I know it's been said in other ways but anyone who posts something about their daughter being run over if their story isn't true is sad and desperate. Trust your sources and stand by it while waiting for the truth to vindicate you or make wild statements pleading your legitimacy....
