It's hard to call plays in the NFL..... someone had to say it
-
Your infatuation with height weight and speed definitely shows me you are a true Raider fan. I'm glad your ok leaving all the Raider LB's singled up on Bills players. If the Superbowl was decided by height weight and speed you guys would be like 10x defending champions.
-
So how can the size of your players be such a great advantage but you dismiss the fact that Chandler is 6'7"? You were fun to talk to for a while but you are getting a bit tiresome now. Chan Gailey knows the offensive tendencies of a team he hasn't been on the staff of for over 2 years, with a large roster turnover? Dude you are scared and rattled and in denial about it.

Henderson always has been a beast. I wouldn't normally tout a rookie but Dareus is something special. In 20 years of watching the Bills, i've never seen a rookie look like this guy. A lot of picks have come and gone but Dareus has looked like a vet since the first time I saw him at training camp. I understand your point about him needing to prove it in the NFL, but he is NFL ready just like Suh was last year. They have UB boy Trevor Scott too... gotta love him representing.

Mom would be proud if I were loud... so i guess i have to.

I can't say i'm ready to give the nod to the Raiders D-line over the Bills. Is Seymour and Kelly better than Williams and Dareus? I'd coin flip that. I do like the Raiders linebackers though.

Prediction thread; Raiders @ Buffalo

Don't believe this guy. Bills 79 Raiders 2 -
You don't even need to park at the stadium lots, there are lots of private lots all over the place (see hammers lot). I would avoid trying to get there at 10. If you want the full gameday experience, shoot for 8:30ish. For a restaurant near the stadium, I would recommend Danny's south (home of the famous chicken wing soup) and you can eat for around 10 - 15 bucks. I would grab yourself a cheap little charcoal grill, a bag of charcoal, some meat to throw on there, a bunch of beers, and just enjoy!

Are you really listing the heights of your defensive line as an advantage? So your line averages 6'6 and the Bills line averages 6'4, and that is really an advantage? I really think you are grasping at straws here. We are all homers but you are over the top with a lot of what you're saying. The Bills did stop the run very well against the Chiefs, they had 2 containment breakdowns, (one when the second stringers were in during garbage time) which made the ypc look bad. All you are doing is talking just like everyone else out there who doesn't actually watch the Bills play. If I want to go by your logic....if the Bills try to run it, it's playing to the Raiders strength. If the Bills try to throw it, it's playing to the Raiders strength. The Bills can't stop the Raiders rushing attack and if they do try they can't stop the Raiders passing attack... does that sum it up nicely?

I guess i'm not sure why you even bother posting on here then... you post opinions and state "facts". No one is debating what you say the Raiders have. What IS funny is that you retort everything told to you about the Bills ex) No matter how good you think they are. We have a different opinion and we will find who was right in that one. No one here is saying Seymour and company aren't good, just trying to give you a heads up that the interior of the offensive line isn't the steaming pile of crap that you think you know about because you've watched ESPN, read SI, and play fantasy football. As for your retorts about this player will be neutralized because the Raiders have this guy, and then you go on to list 40 times, heights & weights, (which i'm sure is a byproduct of having Al Davis as the owner) you just keep proving your ignorance about your opponent. The proof will be in the pudding on Sunday, but I was hoping you were more than just another parrot who regurgitates what John Clayton told you was true.

Ya can't hate on that, training camp is opening for the Sabres on the eve of one of the most anticipated seasons ever for the club.

Well I admire your optimism and the fervor in which you defend your team. You know a lot about your team, the problem is, you THINK you know enough about the Bills. Point 1) Raiders D-Line will continuously blow the Bills O-line backwards all day long. If you actually knew anything about the Bills, you would realize the interior 3 are the strong point of the line and that Eric Wood is an above average center with good size. The Tackles are a different story and who knows which D. Bell will show up at LT. Last week he annihilated Hali, but who knows if he can build off that. McGee, our "starting CB" has been on his way out for 2 years now, so to call his loss a "big advantage" to the Raiders is false. He was mostly getting some slot work and hasn't been the same player for 2 years now. As for Run DMC being able to move the chains at will with swing passes, ask Jamaal Charles how that worked last week, i'm pretty sure he is every bit as fast as DMC. Another fun point, the bills run the spread formation a lot, as in 4 & 5 wide, 3 step drops, and all that goodness, which is a nice way to neutralize a "superior" d-line. Keep up the banter, I love talking Football with opposing fans!

Well if you are going to be coming with just one carload of people, any of the Bills lot (except for lot one which now requires a pass) would work great for you. Lots 2 & 3 (which are directly across from the scoreboard side of the stadium across abbott rd.) are adhering to the new "Disney Style" parking where attendants direct you to park next to the car in front of you. Not bad if it's just your carload, not good if you are meeting up with a group of people. There are also a bunch of great private lots right around the stadium (see hammers lot) As for what to bring, that's totally up to you! Folding chairs, folding table, cooler full of favorite beverages, i would recommend a cheap charcoal grill for grilling whatever you have (yes grilling is a requirement). If you have an EZ Up pop up I would throw that in the car in case the weather isn't so great.

Ok i'm pretty sure the wing story is not plausible now, you wouldn't IR the kid for being bloated or having food poisoning. Let's hope it's not a heart condition or anything like that.

Shawn Nelson 2.0?

How a team you beat 41-7 at home is still ranked 5 spots higher than you shows how much credence to put into the power rankings.
-
The one thing that makes me hopeful is that KC runs a lot of stretch plays, Oakland likes to run between the tackles. I think that plays more to the Bills strength against the run... of course Oak could always just gameplan a lot of stretch plays too.... With that said: Bills 51 Raiders: 3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I57EZLhJn7g

Source: McGee's injury "may be bad"
5 Wide replied to Dorkington's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
to have McGee put down? -
I could be wrong, but it didn't look like he was hair on fire going after the qb much yesterday. He just seemed like he was focusing on setting the edge on most snaps.
-
Barnett showed more skills in pass coverage than we have seen in years out of the LB position.

Don't get too giddy over that win
5 Wide replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good teams take care of business on the road and dominate teams they should beat. The Bills only win because the other team: - Took them for granted - Were unprepared - Are not as good as initially thought - Had an off week - Did not get 8 hours of sleep the night before - Had the sun in their eyes - Did not practice with footballs - The dog ate their playbook -
Just heard Berry reportedly has a torn ACL. Perhaps another horse to watch in the Luck sweepstakes?

The attendance at yesterday's opener
5 Wide replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I saw a few blocks of empty seats in the uppder deck as well... I read that there were 8,000 open seats. Strange if true, when you think KC, you think great support, great attendance.
