yeah, let the Holcomb get beat up. I think it's safe to say JP will be the starting Qb. Jauron is just playing it safe. He knows that the Panthers will play their starter in the first quarter, so he's letting JP go up against a backup filled defense. However, I will be VERY surprised if JP throws and interception in his first game. If he does, we'll then he'll REALLY need to show us that he can be the starter. He'll be intercepted by a backup defense for crying out loud. But I highly doubt he will.

A final decision was expected to be made last night after a meeting with the coaches but he doesn't plan on making it public until Thursday or Friday. He said the starter this week may be based on seniority or reverse seniority. Expect Kelly Holcomb to get the nod for the first preseason game. Well, even if Holcomb starts, at least JP will be the main backup Qb. But remember, look how much time the backup Qb's got in the Hall of Fame game. JP better show us that he can be the true starting Qb for this team.

The only way that will happen in the near future is if we go 4-3 at the very least.

Well that just means the onside kicks will be kicked down the middle of the field than toward the sideline. That way you can still buch up as close to the kicker as possible but still have at least 4 guys on either side of him. In a sense it's like the onside kicks we used to see but now instead of the kicker being on the far right or far left of the 10 players he will be in the middle.

Not only is it insane, but you can get REALly hurt in that sports. I don't do any of that, mainly because of the fear of getting really banged up if something went wrong.

Other than that, both QBs performed well according to the team's official website. Special teams did some work on onside kicks and the defense had some bright spots including big plays from Aaron Schobel and Ko Simpson. Whitner Hits The Field: Donte Whitner hit the practice field today for the first time as a Bill. He worked out with the second unit in the team's lone practice of the day today. He felt he did pretty well despite being thrown a curve ball and having to tweak a few small things on the field. Coach Jauron said the running that Whitner did on Saturday and Sunday helped him out. DB coach George Catavolos said you can tell he missed 12 practices as he forgot a few things on the field. No decision has been made on whether or not Whitner will play in Saturday's preseason game. Not good. Come on guys stay focused.

yeah but were good on DE's. I mean we got Schobel, who's one of the top 5 player on this team, and we got Kelsay and Denney, whom aren't that bad.

Oh yeah! That what I've been waiting for. Our defense is going to be so much better than last year. The defense is now set.

The preseason games are boring because the main starting guys play barely a full quarter. This will be the same for all 4 Bills games. BORING!!! Wait until the beginning of September before you see any action.

DUH! Of course.

Boring! But so is every preseason game. The Bills won't be that exciting too. Spend some quality time preparing for the main season, or with the family, or playing video games for the rest of summer vacation. The preseason games are awful, boring, unexciting, and did I mention boring to watch.
