  1. All of Tyrods faults were on full display today. He is good at hitting the deep ball but take that away and he will struggle. He can't beat teams by picking them apart with short and intermediate passes especially to the middle of the field which is always evident on 3rd down.
  2. Horrible game plan on offense today Defense wouldn't stop Army if they had to
  3. The QB the Bills appear to hv was a big reason they lost today
  4. Hiring Rex was all Pegula who insisted on hiring a head coach with previous head coaching experience Rex and Roman are horrendous
  5. All Tyrod can do is hit the deep ball, there is barely any short to intermediate passing game most likely bc Taylor can't see over the lineman I like Tyrod but he looks like another in a long line of very good backup QBs who just happens to be starting for the Bills
  6. No short passing game and inability to pressure QBs are both huge problems as well
  7. Haven't seen anything regarding the condition of the field yet after the Army Navy game yesterday
  8. Not really the kind of comeback that gets players awards The CPOY award usually goes to players coming back from injury or having a resurgence in productivity after a down year or two. Coming back from suspension or banishment doesn't really fall into that category.
  9. Tyrod coming to Buffalo was all about Rex who according to reports has wanted Taylor for a few years
  10. I was offered a free ticket to the game this weekend last month which I passed on but the insanely high temps this weekend hv me regretting that decision a bit. I actually think Hinkie is safe, it's Scott O'Neal who is in trouble IMO The first Embiid injury really screwed things up. If he wasn't hurt before the draft Cleveland would hv taken him and Wiggins would hv fell to Sixers with Parker still going to Bucks. If Healthy I'd take Embiid over both Noel and Okafor but I don't think Embiid will ever be fully healthy.
  11. I couldn't think of the name earlier which someone else mentioned but Tony Luke's also has good food and isn't far from the stadium. Maybe right now but they have a bunch of first round picks coming with a chance at 4 this year two of which could be in top ten plus a boatload of cap space. They could possibly add Ben Simmons, another top pick, Embiid and Saric to the team this offseason plus a high priced free agent or two. It sux as a fan right now but could have big payoff in the long run.
  12. Pat's and Gino's are both amazingly overrated...the best cheesesteak in the city is at Jim's Steaks on South Street
  13. The only part of the Eagles that worries me is their D-line which has been playing very well lately. The Eagles offense is still a mess but looks like they will have Ryan Mathews back who has been their best back this year. Their wide receivers have really underperformed and of course the QB play hasnt been that good. It will still be a tough game though but i think the Bills win Bills 20 Eagles 16
  14. yeah because something that happened almost 50 years ago is still relevant
  15. I believe there is no Monday night game week 17 but Sunday night is always flexed as it always seems to be the game that decides the NFC East division winner. It basically turns into another playoff game for the NFL I could see the Bills Jets game deciding the last wild card spot and getting flexed
  16. The wording could hv been better and suggests that there may be something to discuss. As far as I'm concerned Whaley has done a great job and should absolutely be back.
  17. Isn't it also Doug's job to decide to can a player? Like who? Fact is there really hasn't been anyone out there who would be an upgrade over Carpenter who has obviously struggled but has also had success kicking in the Northeast late in the season. My point is suggesting they should cut a starter without suggesting or even looking at alternatives is kind of silly.
  18. Of all the things to hv a problem with
  19. Easy to say cut a player but who exactly is better for the Bills right now? If you're gonna say they should cut someone you should at least offer an option of who they should sign
  20. And they can franchise him at that point I don't know about single handedly as the defense didn't help much in that game and gave up the lead late
  21. This is a direct result of Eagles Cards game being flexed to Sunday night but really doesn't impact fans although some may end up getting game on local tv now and some who would hv may not
  22. Ive been saying this for a few years now, having 4 divisions of 4 teams in each conference guaranteeing those 4 division winners not only a playoff spot but home playoff games is the real problem with the playoff format and not the number of teams that make it. Two divisions of 8 teams in each confernce with or without sub divisions for scheduling would fix most if not all of the problems with existing playoff format. This would all but eliminate the chance of division winners getting in the playoffs with worse records than non division winners that didnt get the wild card. They could also enforce something similar to college where a div winner needs x number of wins to become playoff eligible or something like that. Either way the existing format is severely flawed and penalizes teams for playing in a good division and rewards teams that do not. I thought the AFC South was bad then i looked at the NFC East last night and cant believe one of those teams will not only be in the playoffs but will host a team that most likely will have a better record then they do.
  23. it seems like a lot of players fall or slip on the turf at The Ralph but Woods does seem to fall more than most
  24. exactly, if Tyrod plays that well they can franchise him then work out a long term contract but i also want to see more than 10 starts from him before giving him another contract the Bills have shown that they want to keep their own, no reason to panic yet but since he is a QB he will get paid regardless of if its this offseason or next so why rush it?
  25. again, he is under contract for next season at an extremely reasonable number
