come on, thats just weak...if its that easy then why dont all teams convert 3rd and long with plays like that more often?

regardless if he got beat once or not there is no excuse for getting beat that badly on such a big play...3rd and 16 or whatever it was and he wasnt even in the picture I was critical of Gilmores tackling earlier in the season as he seemed to be trying to tackle everyone high especially the SD game...he then had a couple games where he was solid in run support actually hitting guys in the thigh make all the excuses for him you want but even his position coach is speaking out about him now

The offense just needs to play smarter, eliminate the really dumb mistakes and at some point start actually running the ball effectively

I can accept the interceptions, they are part of the game but the careless fumbles are inexcusable...why on earth would he try passing that ball with the defender all over him, just take the sack and get the FG Orton and a lot of other players on this team need to play a lot smarter than they have been

Spiller might not be gone either, he has a player option he could very well be willing to play under now which would basically be a one year deal to prove himself and hit free agency after next season

the win wasnt embarrassing but the overall performance was ill take any win

I was amazed how many people bought into Buddy Nix. That first draft was awful but I don't think it's worse then Butlers last draft

I don't blame him for getting annoyed during a ridiculous post game press conference as they all are and getting second guessed by ppl who never played or coached the game but there is no reason to tell someone to be quiet like that He's right though, too much time left to sit on the clock

It makes no sense to continue joshing Henderson and pears on the right side, go back to pears and urbik who are certainly not great but way better then what we've been seeing

i can't imagine Seattle not making a play for a WR like Jackson if he becomes available. Depending on what happens in today's game I could see Spiller getting traded. If they lose I'll be surprised if he isn't traded and a good chance he is even if they win if we see more of same from him. We all know Eagles were interested in offseason before they acquired Sproles but with his injury I could see them making a call for Spiller again.

What is the point of this thread? You watched his documentary and got pissed off at what exactly? And why did you decide to create a thread titled Eric Moulds which is really about Doug Flutie? What Ball control tactics? I didn't realize Flutie was calling the plays. I liked Flutie and he got a raw deal but I don't get what you're trying to get at here besides coming off like a troll.

One play I know we won't see is passing to Chandler running upfield which is what he is good at not those 2 yard sideline patterns that go nowhere. Hackett is constantly out thinking himself by not taking what works in one game into the next. Perfect example is the crossing pattern to Sammy that worked so well week 2 vs Miami but for some ridiculous reason hasn't been seen since. Instead we get the prayers down the sideline every week which rarely get answered.

Is anyone coaching these guys? They are not missing blocks they don't even know who they should be blocking which is pretty basic. Blocking is a huge problem obviously but playcalling is just as big of a problem and it starts with being in the shotgun most of the game. You can't run out of the gun if teams are not worried about the pass so why not go under center in a more traditional set to give yourself some freaking options instead of shotgun draw over LG and shotgun draw over RG all freaking day. Go back to Pears and Urbik, they could at least run with those guys on the right side

I don't think this is the last surprise trade we see before the deadline Sproles getting hurt is a big loss for the Eagles as he was playing a bigger than expected role with them and I wouldn't be surprised if Chip didn't try getting a replacement for the time being and to keep sproles in limited role they intended him to have when he comes back

No they are not I agree but that is a completely different debate

That still doesn't make this a trap game Trap games are games vs inferior opponents the week before a big game or sandwiched between two big games. The game following an improbable upset by an underdog could also be considered a trap game. A good team playing a bad team is not a trap game

Geno throws a really nice ball, has touch, pretty mobile but seems to struggle upstairs which could be due to Morninwig n his offense

How is this game a trap? If anything next weeks game vs Bears is a trap with prime time game tonight vs Division opponent and Denver up next
