  1. I dont think they can risk sitting Brown
  2. You answered your own question, one was done in a players face while other was not. It wasn't just one play either as the Bengals players were flashing money sign all game long.
  3. what about home field? is that not worth playing for? nobody wants to see the Bills in the playoffs so if the Pats have a chance to knock them out of even making it I fully expect them to try and do so
  4. I agree to a point, the team has improved over the last two years and I would be shocked if he doesnt get another year but how much of the improvement is because of Marrone? Outside of hiring two good DCs what impact has he had on this team? The offense which is his area continues to regress.
  5. There are idiot fans everywhere, not just in New England, Philly, or NY I would have been giving them some serious business back though especially at the end of the game if they were even still there.
  6. Bills have to travel across the country after a huge home win, that in itself is difficult regardless of the opponent but the Raiders have actually been playing tough at home and I think won last two there. Add in the fact that the Bills travel to the Pats the following week and this has all the makings of a scarey trap game for the Bills.
  7. I don't care what the Raiders record is this will be a tough game
  8. I don't think Schwartz get offers next year unless it's from the Bills who I am starting to think may not want to risk losing him and bump him up to head coach like Rams did with Martz. My initial thought was Marrone would absolutely get another year simply bc the team has improved but what has Marrone added to this team except hire two good defensive coordinators? This team is obviously being carried by its defense while the offense continues to regress.
  9. Not really considering it's his third year He had a bad first half but played better in the second On another note did Peppers even play today? Don't remember hearing his name at all
  10. Uh no it doesn't. With Orton the Bills have beat Detroit, the Jets twice who are awful, Minnesota at home vs a rookie QB making his first road start, Cleveland who was obviously not as good as their record, and Green Bay today which the Bills won in spite of Orton. Which of those other games did Orton make a positive impact on and factor in the outcome? Detroit and maybe Minnesota. With Orton the Bills lost 4 big games two of which were at home. The NE game was a total team loss so I won't hang that on Orton but Chiefs at home and Miami on the road were winnable games with better QB play. If Ortons play was a result of the defenses he faced then why wasn't he better today vs one of the worst pass defenses in the league? Like I said listing out the rankings of the defenses the Bills have faced and using it as an excuse for his poor play is extremely weak.
  11. This is such a lame excuse. There are 32 teams in the league and odds are you are going to have to play more than a couple in the top half of defenses. This isn't college.
  12. How many Bills games have you watched this year or are you just looking up stats and basing ur opinion on what you read the next day instead of actually watching him play? Orton is a classic example of what you want from a backup QB, someone who can win you a game if needed but too inconsistent to be a starter. If Orton can win in Buffalo then why isn't he? This team is good enough to be in the playoffs but won't be and a lot of that had to do with Orton and before him EJ. The playing a lot of top defenses excuse is just weak, there are 32 teams in the league and odds are you are going to have to play more than a couple in the top half of defenses. This isn't college.
  13. The Rams have not been a good team since before they even drafted Bradford and have not given him much at all to work with on offense but yeah let's blame Bradford. How bad has the Rams offensive line been for him? How about the running game and Wide Receivers? Bradford is a former number 1 pick who has played on bad teams without much talent around him on offense and has not been able to stay healthy but he still has talent, could prob benefit from a change of scenery and will most likely be available without having to give up a pick
  14. And who do you want in the draft and what are the odds whoever they could possibly get in the draft would be able to step in and play right away? Bills will need another QB most likely from that list regardless of if they draft a QB and even if they keep Orton. I'm actually starting to come around on the thought of Bradford assuming Rams cut him. Yes he has had injuries but how often does a player like him become available as a free agent? Former number 1 overall pick who has had success in the league even though he had very little talent around him. I also think RG3 and Cutler would be worth pursuing in a trade simply because they both are still young enough that they can potentially turn things around. I actually like Glennon who IMO had played well all things considered, no idea what Lovie is thinking playing McCown I'm sure the Bills will take a QB in the draft next year if there is one there worth taking but this team is setup to contend now so they will need to look elsewhere for their starting QB next year.
  15. Sadly the Bills at one time were interested in hiring him as head coach but he amazingly declined
  16. I hope the Bengals Browns game turns into a worse game than last nights snoozer
  17. just read this myself, apparently Fox is buying into the Manzeil hype and thought it was better to show that then Bills Packers so much for HD right there with you dwight...was looking forward to actually watching the game HD for the second time this year
  18. Love the way Arians coaches...great quote from earlier from Arians saying he doesn't want his QB to run he wants him to pass
  19. Two good defenses with bad QBs and this is what you get I have Zona defense in my fantasy playoffs so I'm hoping for some sacks and turnovers once Rams start taking some chances
  20. no you couldnt, trading someone for a 6th round pick is basically dumping them and with as many QB needy teams as there are the Bears certainly are not in a position where they need to dump him just to get rid of him
  21. Bills seemed to be really concerned with Broncos pass rush so not completely surprised deep balls were not in the game plan but I am surprised how little this team uses crossing patterns. This offense doesnt have an identity and just seems to include a different set of plays every week.
  22. A head coach is defined by wins and losses so Marrone will play who he thinks gives him the best chance of winning regardless if they are still in the playoff hunt or not. Same reason why Chan kept going with Fitz. Whaley and the front office would probably prefer to see more of EJ after sitting out most of the season
  23. why is QB out of the question with no first round pick? How many QBs have we seen drafted after the first round in recent years turn into better players then the ones drafted in the first round? DE will also be a need with the expected loss of Hughes
  24. so how long before this ref is making bad calls in the NFL?
