Maybe you should look around the league and see where the majority of QBs were drafted or if you are lazy just look at the playoff teams bc majority of those QBs were not drafted in top 3 either. Also might want to consider what QB will even be worthy of a top 3 pick in the 2016 draft which is most likely impossible to even think about right now so to answer your question no they shouldn't tank and to suggest it is pretty lame IMO. This team is too talented for that and should hv been in the playoffs this year. Update: Only 4 of the 12 QBs in the playoffs this year were top 3 picks but you can make a case for 5 with Palmer on the Cards. Still think they should tank?

Why would Kelly take an OC position when he can get just about any HC job he wants? Why would Reich leave SD for the same position with Bills and be overshadowed by Kelly who would obviously run his own offense and call his own plays?

If Kelly leaves it would most likely be to return to college not for another NFL team

Starting Orton was all about Marrone trying to get that 9th win to pad his resume. I said this before that game and its even more evident now. It's all about wins and losses for head coaches and Marrone cared more about that then seeing if EJ has in fact improved.

Yes it does. There was zero other reason to start Orton who most thought at the time wouldn't even be back next year in that game. Say what you want but at end of day coaches are judged on wins and losses and getting to 9 wins was all Marrone cared about...feel free to live in denial

I keep hearing people say stuff like this but what impact did Marrone actually have on this team being one game out of the playoffs? It certainly wasn't bc of his innovative offense which most people would say is what kept them out of the playoffs. This team won 9 games bc of their defense and in spite of Marrones offense and ultra conservative philosophy I do however agree that Marrone would get a job fairly quickly bc on paper to anyone outside of Buffalo who wasn't paying attention every week it does look like Marrone has done a good job but those watching every week know different. I am also not impressed with the names being mentioned as possible head coaches.

Anyone who thinks Marrone didn't have a say in the QBs they brought in including drafting EJ simply isnt paying attention. It's not like Whaley is picking these guys on his own and forcing them on Marrone. Any tension between the two is most likely a power play from Marrone and his ego which is well documented. It would not surprise me one bit if Marrone isn't using his 3 day window to force the Bills hand for a new contract and more power.

Orton had a player option which he obviously declined so how exactly did he play the Bills?
