I don't see how this makes GB better as one of the reasons for GB's success recently is bc of McCarthy's ability as a play caller
My guess is this changes by mid season and McCarthy ends up calling plays again
Do you even realize the Bills have new owners and that this is their first offseason as owners? If you are aware of this what are you basing your comment on that these are the Bills and you are sure they will get someone on the cheap?
Who are the better options out there that you prefer but don't think they will go after bc these are the Bills?
Was all this just a very weak attempt at a very old joke that is obviously no longer relevent?
Is anyone surprised by this?
Rice had a lot of trouble catching the ball early in his career so I don't see how anyone can be surprised by this or that he is the only one to do so. I'm sure just about every received who wore gloves was just as guilty
Why would Ray Rice be next?
Are you seriously suggesting that signing Rice who beat his wife would be the same as signing Incognito who teased his teammate?
Seahawks 27
Patriots 17
I don't see Seattle playing two bad games in a row. The Pats really don't impress me and can be run on which is Seattles strength. On offense who besides Gronk can remotely cause any damage vs the Seahwaks secondary? The only way I see Seattle losing this game is if Wilson gives it away like he almost did vs GB but I don't see that happening.
And as usual I have terrible numbers in my block pools.
When suggesting trades one should ask themselves why would the other team make the trade they were proposing and if they were a fan of that team would they also want to make the same trade.
Why would the Redskins trade a capable backup for a 6th or 7th round pick? Which is more valuable to them, a capable backup behind RG3 or a low round pick who at best would be on their practice squad?
These are the types of questions people should be asking themselves when suggesting trades like this.
I think Hughes is going to get a ton of money from a bad team like the Raiders, will not be nearly as productive and will be cut in two years.
I like Hughes and would like him back but a lot of what he is able to do is bc of the attention the rest of the Dline gets
it goes both ways unfortunately, Schefter helps Sexton out with this and he gives Schefter the scoop on possible free agent signings, coaching rumors, etc...its all politics
which is exactly what he said when talk of Marrone possibly opting out started and continued that talk once he actually did opt out
I like Schefter but this is obviously him trying to help out his former agent
Since he endlessly reported Polian would be joining Bills even when others were on to it not happening which it obviously didnt I would say what he reported didn't end up being true.
Exactly...does he ever get Bills news right?
This is same guy who incorrectly reported Bills were on the hook for 5.5mil next year to Mike Williams regardless if they cut him and of course all the Polian stuff he kept putting out there.
Anyone debating Sammy vs Beckham doesn't need to look any further then the targets they both received.
Beckham was targeted 21 times in the season finale vs the Eagles which is pretty insane. Sammy was target 30 times the last 4 games combined.
signing Murray would not automatically mean the Bills would have a strong running game
he also had over 400 touches last year and we all know what happens to backs that do that then you add in his injury history and a big no thanks from me
