  1. Hughes will get overpaid signing with a bad team and end up being cut in two years
  2. This would give a lot of Bills fans some joy. I really didn't care one way or the other, he was basically last man on roster and last active player on game days so having a kickoff specialist looked a lot worse then it actually was/is. At the end of the day the Bills kickoff coverage was pretty good last year wasn't it? And def better then it was in 2013.
  3. I dont buy into the RBs are a dime a dozen, some might be but not the top RBs who separate themselves from rest of league like McCoy, Peterson, etc for a team that will rely on the run more then most you need more then a run of the mill no name RB anyone who has reservations about McCoy probably hasnt seen him play a lot and will change their tune as soon as they see him run with the Buffalo on his helmet. Ive had the pleasure of watching just about every game McCoy has played and couldnt be more pumped about this trade.
  4. I like Julius but Peyton can make any TE look good and since he will command a high price tag I would rather pass Bills offense is not going to be wide open so so not sure its worth giving a TE 8-9 mil
  5. Im thinking today or tomorrow they announce an extension with Hughes
  6. who thought this was going to be a quiet offseason?
  7. he is a vet QB who has and can start
  8. so in this fantasy Kiko is worth a first and a fourth to you? If McCoy could hv brought that back don't you think the Eagles would hv taken that over Kiko to help their rumored attempt to trade up? Why would Dallas trade a first and a fourth to pay a RB ten mil when they can just resign Murray? Why would bills get a compensatory pick?
  9. why does it have to be Kiko for a QB? you act like by trading Kiko they cant make another trade for a QB...dont get the logic there
  10. i really dont get the complaining by people regarding this deal...McCoy is a top 5 prob top 2-3 RB in the league
  11. I will be shocked if the plan is to roll with EJ this year, they will make a move for a more proven QB IMO
  12. restructuring McCoys deal would give him more gauranteed money so I dont get your friends point Mario's deal can always be restructured but there is no reason to do it just to do it its there if they need to do it
  13. Peterson turns 30 in a couple weeks and his cap hit is over 15 mil which is clearly a lot more than McCoys who turns 27 in July I really wish ppl would do a little research before suggesting stuff like this
  14. That was my first reaction as well but could also mean Bills are going after and confident in signing David Harris This team could be loaded next year
  15. Bc your thoughts needed their own thread?
  16. Borrowed time? You have got to be kidding me Some of the comments in this thread are insanely ridiculous
  17. It's supposedly a done deal but can't be made official until next week
  18. Do the people complaining about McCoys contract realize that contracts can be renegotiated and his most likely will be...its a non issue
  19. Top RBs are not a dime a dozen Kiko was not their best young player, that is clearly Dareus It's March 3, still time for plenty of other moves
  20. What exactly are you pissed about? They had the number 4 ranked defense without Kiko last year and are getting back the leagues leading rusher over the last 2-3 years
  21. Wow This tells me Hughes will be resigned since he will most likely be playing OLB under Rex I also wouldn't be shocked to see Spiller end up in Philly
  22. Free agency hasnt even started yet and you are already complaining about what they havent spent you act like they dont have the opportunity to add another pass rusher for the present and future when Mario and Kyle start to regress The Bills have $30 mil in cap space right now but just bc they have that doesnt mean they should spend it all...do you want them to end up like the Saints who have to constantly restructure and cut players every year? good teams manage the cap well and the Bills have managed theirs well in recent years. I want Hughes back but it takes two sides to make a deal which a lot of fans seem to ignore and just blame the team thinking they should just give the players whatever they want...anyone still upset Bills didnt resign Byrd? Im certainly not
  23. Is Jerry Hughes a 14 million dollar player? I am a big fan but no he is not so I agree with the decision not to franchise him especially since that would take up almost half their cap space. The Bills have shown they are willing to pay and keep their players but it takes two sides to make a deal. I still think there is a chance to get a deal done but at this point Hughes would be stupid not to at least test the market
