additional playoff spots were never added but the talk wont go away....I would hate adding another playoff team or teams to each conference the problem isnt the number of teams that make the playoffs its having 4 divisions of 4 teams and granting each div winner regardless of record not only a playoff berth but a playoff game at home there are too many divisions and or guaranteed playoff berths

if anything i hope this eventually means less commercials especially for Fanduel which seem to multiply the more they air

Never understand the thinking of Bills need this position so Bills should use their first round pick on that position? thinking any team should just go with a certain position in a draft without knowing where they will pick or what player will be there is pretty silly

Mario still plays for the Bills? It's pretty easy, extend life of contract and convert salary to signing bonus which can then be spread out across life of contract. Say his salary is 20 mil next year with two years left, add three years and convert that 20 to signing bonus spreading out over 5 years creating cap hit of 4 mil from bonus plus whatever his salary would now be which even if 6 mil would make is cap hit 10 mil roughly That's pretty high level so not exact but basically how it works Mario either restructures or he's gone IMO....just not worth it anymore considering he's third best player in front seven
