billsfan182 replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives

I like Dockery alot, we should look to go after him -
I like this move, he is a solid player. It shall be interesting to see if he stays at C and competes w/ Preston or moves to G and competes w/ Snderson. OR my choice we should make an offer to Neil, already talked to the guy he deffinetly has good "charecter" qualities, and have Neil start and fowler and Preston at C

Larry Allen was cut by the cowboys a little earlier. He would be a good move, getting older in age but can help. I think we should look back at Steve Neil now that Wells isnt up for grabs and Runyan should be brought in for a visit. -
hmmm this should get interesting....

that would be beautiful, bring in Neil, Runyan, and Flanagan. Never would happen though. You know what im wondering tho, maybe when Runyan gets back from his vacation bills will contact him, im sure theres alot of teams in the nfl who would like him but havent contacted him yet though, because of him being gone. That would be nice, and then like i said go get Neil and bring him back in and sign him this time!!! -

I agree, and this is what i'm hoping will happen, we need to get Neil. -
More than likley Bears will match Idonije. Aslo it looks like Cards want Wells, and say the price bills signed offer sheet to is not high enough to say no. The question is now, what do we do for these vacent holes??? Bring back DeVires and Niel for another visit/contact????? thoughts???

Jets | Team looking for ammunition to trade up Sun, 19 Mar 2006 07:26:42 -0800 Randy Lange, of the Bergen Record, reports the New York Jets are reportedly looking for ammunition, by trading DE John Abraham, to move up to the No. 2 slot in the April NFL Draft. They team wants to draft USC QB Matt Leinart. from kffl.com Jets are looking to trade up and draft Matt Leinart, despite their signing of QB Patrick Ramsey. This is good, because say the Jets remained at 4th overall, and Leinart GONE, Cutler or even Young could be GONE. Now knowing that Texans will take Reggie, they will grab Matt, Titans will take Vince, but o yea, the big ? is what does NO do here????? D'Brickashaw or AJ??????

Actually when bowen, Fabini, and DeVires came the other day it said there was supposed to be audio up of all them and there was only DeVires audio. It makes me mad

I'm surprised Skins accepted only a 6th, they were asking for a 3rd to start with when they first put him on the block. I wish the bills would have made an offer, i actually thought they were gonna, especially after reading Levy's high ententions of having another QB to come in and compete. I'm kinda dissapointed -
he's also Edgerin's too!
-
yea, I thought I remember someone saying that before, I hope he doesnt turn McGahee into a "money hog/big ego attitude" kind of player

Matt Bowen can't hold my freaking jock!

Reggie Wells - OL - tendered offer sheet
billsfan182 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
well it sure seems that the bills want this guy bad, but i still think theres a possibility of getting him, the cards stated earlier in the week they would most likely match any offers made, UNLESS they were an outragous high amount...and folks that is exactly what we offered Wells, big big money -
yup, all he needs to do know is pass his physical to make it official per kffl Cowboys | Fabini needs to pass physical to make deal official Sat, 18 Mar 2006 09:41:29 -0800 Nick Eatman, of DallasCowboys.com, reports OT Jason Fabini only needs to pass his physical to make his new deal with the Dallas Cowboys official.

yea yesterday i read that both teams were close to a deal, but now i picked this up jets trading abraham to seahawksJets want to trade Abraham to Seattle NFL.com wire reports NEW YORK (March 17, 2006) -- The New York Jets want to send disgruntled defensive end John Abraham to the Seattle Seahawks. A person familiar with the negotiations, who didn't want to be identified because the talks were ongoing, said the Seahawks have presented the best trade package for Abraham: a first-round pick. Atlanta, which has also been talking to the Jets, is only willing to give up a second-rounder. John Abraham is looking forward to playing in a different city. The source said the Jets are leaning toward Seattle because they want to get the most value for the three-time Pro Bowl selection. But the situation is more complicated than making a trade happen. The Seahawks must come to an agreement on a long-term deal with Abraham, and that hasn't happened so far. Abraham, who is from South Carolina, is believed to prefer Atlanta and spent the last two days there visiting with the team. Abraham visited Seattle earlier this week, after being flown into town on owner Paul Allen's private plane. Abraham's agents, Rich Rosa and Tony Agnone, didn't return repeated phone calls seeking comment. Seattle has other financial matters to deal with, which further complicates the issue. All-Pro guard Steve Hutchinson signed a $49 million, seven-year offer sheet with Minnesota. It included $16 million guaranteed. But his future will be decided by an arbitration process, delaying the March 19 deadline for the team to match the offer. The NFL Players Association said the league has filed a claim on behalf of the Seahawks contending a clause in the offer sheet Hutchinson signed with the Vikings last weekend circumvents the league's labor contract. That would mean that Seattle does not have to match that clause to keep Hutchinson, who is designated as their transition player. The clause in question would guarantee Hutchinson the entire contract sum if Hutchinson is not the team's highest-paid offensive lineman. The Jets should have the upper hand in the situation since they still have the rights to Abraham. But it is apparent more conflict is brewing about where he goes. New York placed the franchise tag on Abraham for the second straight year, but he has made it clear he wants out of New York. The Jets have also made it obvious that Abraham has no future with them. The 27-year-old Abraham is unhappy the Jets have failed to deliver a long-term deal, even though they all but assured him they would if he played in every game in 2005. He did, but was given a one-year franchise tender. Looks like he wont be going to Atlanta because they are only willing to give up a 2nd and Jets want a first, which the Seahawks have agreed to trade for Abraham

Bills | Team likely to give Idonije and offer sheet Sat, 18 Mar 2006 06:37:56 -0800 Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports the Buffalo Bills are likely to sign restricted free agent DL Israel Idonije (Bears) to an offer sheet. Idonije could fill a number of roles for the Bills, who know him well with former Bears coaches Perry Fewell and Charlie Coiner on staff. Because the Bears did not draft Idonije, picking him up after he had been cut loose by Cleveland, they would not receive compensation from the Bills. he would be good depth but on the other hand come on now, what about Nall and Neil rrrrrrrr
