This post is racing to Canton as we speak! McCargo is a 1st round pick that we traded up for. We are obviously going to give him a chance to show his stuff, which hasn't happened yet because he's hardly played. For this reason, it is also highly unlikely that Marv will invest a second 1st round pick in a row on a DT, when there are other positions that have yet to be addressed at all. This is logical, all though by no means a sure thing. It was a surprise Williams contributed as much as he did last year, and it is certainly not outside the realm of possibility that he will show further improvement and become a better player. You, however, seem to discount the possibility of a player i]improving[/i] upon their rookie campaign. You have to show patience with young players that you draft that show potential. Otherwise, how do you build a team? Anderson is Anderson. No argument there. It certainly is no skin off our back to bring him to camp again and see what happens from there. Tripplett showed improvement the second half of the season. Hopefully he becomes more comfortable with the system, and hopefully Williams' improvement or the improvement of whoever mans the other DT spot will continue his improvement. The simple fact also is that we have invested too much money in Tripplett to marginalize him. So we will see. The whole "undersized" slam is really odd, because our coaching staff and HOF general manager all seem to think that all of our "undersized" DT's are exactly the right size that we need to play the kind of defense that we play. Criticizing execution is one thing. Saying they are all "undersized" is just a cop-out superficial way of saying that they did not execute their respective roles and assignments in our defense as well as they should have. The truth is all of our DT's that win a spot on this year's upcoming team will need to improve their execution for us to be a better team, especially against the run. There is a reason that we do not sign or draft 340 lb. DT's, and that is not because it supremely pisses off all the armchair fans who know who should play DT better than professional NFL coaches

I'm certainly not saying that Brooke Burns is not hot. In terms of just body, she certainly has a better body than Portman. I'm just saying that if we "celebrity uber face beauty deathmatch" her with Portman, Portman wins by K.O. in the 1st round, imo. I would say that Carrie Underwood has a better face than brooke burns but a lesser body than brooke burns, whose body is pretty much the whole deal with her. But in terms of pure beauty, Portman kicks the shite out of both of them, imho.

F/X usually does show replays during the week after the episode airs. not sure when the riches will air, though...

She's a dead ringer for Audrey Hepburn. Brooke Burns is a dead ringer for a "so much plastic surgery I'm going to resemble silly puddy by my mid 30's" broke down Hooters waitress. Hooters should pay her to be their poster girl....oh wait....

What do you want to do right now?

V Drums are the shiznit. What I now want to do is go steal your V-Drums. I will let you keep your macbook because i am a nice guy -
Yes, LB or Rb is much more likely in round one, imo, especially LB.

Okay, let's turn the spotlight on yours now by reasonable, you of course mean "psychic", as in the ability to see the future, as in the ability to prognosticate that there is 0% chance the Bills can win the division this upcoming year. You can't make these assumptions. The NFL is too chock full of parity to assume this. Neither the Bengals nor the Steelers even made the playoffs last year, and who called that at this point last year? Not to mention this team below: Yes, this team. Who thought the Jets would make the playoffs this time last year? I don't know, the evidence will begin to accrue tomorrow after the 1st regular season game. Oh wait.....

Natalie Portman's face makes Brooke Burns face look like George Burns!

I very much doubt it for some reason

He got champ bailey money, not nate clements money. pfft.

Hard to top Johannson, tis true.

Yes, but my point is that we already have two starting safeties that we drafted last year. Nelson is a prime player and will be drafted by somebody early to start immediately.

No new insights, huh? How incredibly you oversimplify and reduce thousands of posts to a simple little pat argument that supports your theory that paid professional journalists just have to write something! Showing intelligence with the written word is not necessarily a matter of content as much as it is the context and perspective that comes through and is employed through one's choice of words, sentences, phrases, etc. Content is certainly a part, but there are a lot of opinions, and even diametrically opposed opinions can both be articulated in a cogent and thoughtful manner. Matthews could have articulated his opinion in a more cogent and thoughtful manner, with a better eye to perspective and context. Is this too much to ask of a professional journalist? Evidently. -
He hasn't flown under anybodies radar. He was projected to be a top 15 pick for a while; now it looks like landry has jumped ahead of him as the #1 Safety due to his combine performance. But he is still a definite 1st round pick. And there is no way in hell we are drafting him!

Yes, good signing. Adds a little flexibility. at the least he is a capable nickle corner. They are banking on Youboty, for sure, as the #2. I will be very surprised if we draft a CB in rd. 1.

I wonder how recovered harrel is from that torn bicep. if he's back to 100%, i think he will be a steal for somebody. although that was a very nasty injury he had. Meachem is very fast and talented and may bust the mediocre NFL streak UT WR's have been on in the last ten years or so. (and dante stallworth does not yet count as better than mediocre until he consistently produces, btw) Wade is good, Sears is Good, Turk McBride, decent so it wouldn't be a terrible draft at all, imo.
